Dt 22, 1-30

1 (UKJV) You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide yourself from them: you shall in any case bring them again unto your brother.
1 (ROH) Keby si videl blúdiť vola svojho brata alebo jeho dobytča, neskryješ sa pred nimi, ale doista ich dovedieš zpät svojmu bratovi.

2 (UKJV) And if your brother be not nigh unto you, or if you know him not, then you shall bring it unto your own house, and it shall be with you until your brother seek after it, and you shall restore it to him again.
2 (ROH) A keby tvoj brat nebol blízko teba, a neznal by si ho, dovedieš to do svojho domu, a bude u teba, dokiaľ ho nebude hľadať tvoj brat, a vrátiš mu ho.

3 (UKJV) "In like manner shall you do with his ass; and so shall you do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of your brother's, which he has lost, and you have found, shall you do likewise: you may not hide yourself. "
3 (ROH) Tak učiníš s jeho oslom a tak učiníš i s jeho rúchom, tak učiníš s každou ztratenou vecou svojho brata, ktorá by sa mu ztratila, keď ju najdeš; nebudeš sa môcť ukryť.

4 (UKJV) You shall not see your brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely help him to lift them up again.
4 (ROH) Neuvidíš svojho bratovho osla alebo jeho vola padlých ležať na ceste, aby si sa ukryl pred nimi; doista ich pozdvihneš s ním.

5 (UKJV) The woman shall not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD your God.
5 (ROH) Nebude na žene ničoho toho, čo patrí mužovi, ani si muž neoblečie rúcha ženy, lebo ohavnosťou je Hospodinovi, tvojmu Bohu, každý, kto to robí.

6 (UKJV) If a bird's nest chance to be before you in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, you shall not take the dam with the young:
6 (ROH) Keby sa nahodilo vtáčie hniezdo pred tebou na ceste, na jakomkoľvek strome alebo na zemi, v ktorom by boly mláďatá alebo vajcia, a matka by sedela na mláďatách alebo na vajciach, nevezmeš matky s mladými.

7 (UKJV) "But you shall in any way let the dam go, and take the young to you; that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days. "
7 (ROH) Doista pustíš matku a mladé si vezmeš, aby ti bolo dobre, a aby si predĺžil svoje dni.

8 (UKJV) When you build a new house, then you shall make a battlement for your roof, that you bring not blood upon your house, if any man fall from thence.
8 (ROH) Keď vystavíš nový dom, spravíš zábradlie na svojej streche dookola, aby si neuvalil krvi na svoj dom, keby spadol niekto s neho.

9 (UKJV) You shall not sow your vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of your seed which you have sown, and the fruit of your vineyard, be defiled.
9 (ROH) Neposeješ svojej vinice rôznym semenom, aby si neposvätil náplne semena, ktoré si vysial, a úrody vinice.

10 (UKJV) You shall not plow with an ox and an ass together.
10 (ROH) Nebudeš orať spolu na volovi a na oslovi.

11 (UKJV) You shall not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woolen and linen together.
11 (ROH) Neoblečieš rúcha, zhotoveného z miešaného pradiva, utkaného z vlny a z ľanu spolu.

12 (UKJV) You shall make you fringes upon the four quarters of your vesture, wherewith you cover yourself.
12 (ROH) Spravíš si strapce na štyroch rohoch svojho odevu, ktorým sa odievaš.

13 (UKJV) If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
13 (ROH) Keby si niekto vzal ženu a vošiel by k nej a potom by ju nenávidel

14 (UKJV) And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
14 (ROH) a hovoril by o nej zlé veci a pustil by tak o nej zlú povesť a povedal by: Vzal som si túto ženu, a keď som sa jej priblížil, nenašiel som u nej panenstva.

15 (UKJV) Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
15 (ROH) Vtedy vezme otec dievčiny i jej matka dôkaz panenstva dievčiny a vynesú ho ku starším mesta ku bráne.

16 (UKJV) "And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hates her; "
16 (ROH) A otec dievčiny povie starším: Svoju dcéru som dal tomuto mužovi za ženu, ktorý ju teraz nenávidí.

17 (UKJV) "And, lo, he has given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not your daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. "
17 (ROH) A hľa, hovorí o nej zlé veci, vraj nenašiel som pri tvojej dcére panenstva. A toto je dôkaz panenstva mojej dcéry. A rozprestrú rúcho pred staršími mesta.

18 (UKJV) "And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; "
18 (ROH) Vtedy vezmú starší toho mesta muža a potrescú ho.

19 (UKJV) "And they shall fine him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he has brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. "
19 (ROH) A pokutujú ho na sto striebra a dajú otcovi dievčiny, pretože vypustil zlú povesť o dcére Izraelovej, a bude mu ženou; nebude môcť ju preč poslať po všetky svoje dni.

20 (UKJV) But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:
20 (ROH) Ale ak by to bola pravda, a nenašiel by sa dôkaz panenstva dievčiny,

21 (UKJV) Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she has wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shall you put evil away from among you.
21 (ROH) vtedy vyvedú dievčinu ku dveriam domu jej otca a uhádžu ju mužovia jej mesta kamením, a zomrie preto, že vykonala bláznovstvo v Izraelovi smilniac v dome svojho otca, a odpraceš také zlo zo svojho stredu.

22 (UKJV) If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shall you put away evil from Israel.
22 (ROH) Keby bol niekto najdený, že leží so ženou, vydatou za muža, vtedy zomrú obidvaja, i muž, ktorý ležal so ženou, i žena, a odpraceš také zlo z Izraela.

23 (UKJV) "If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; "
23 (ROH) Keby sa stalo, že by dievka, panna,, bola zasnúbená mužovi, a našiel by ju nejaký muž v meste a ležal by s ňou,

24 (UKJV) "Then all of you shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and all of you shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he has humbled his neighbour's wife: so you shall put away evil from among you. "
24 (ROH) vtedy vyvediete obidvoch ku bráne toho mesta a uhádžete ich kamením a zomrú, dievku preto, že nekričala súc v meste, a muža preto, že ponížil ženu svojho blížneho, a tedy odpraceš také zlo zo svojho stredu.

25 (UKJV) But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
25 (ROH) Ale keby našiel muž zasnúbenú dievku na poli a keby jej ten muž urobil násilie a ležal by s ňou, vtedy zomrie muž, ktorý ležal s ňou, iba sám.

26 (UKJV) "But unto the damsel you shall do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man rises against his neighbour, and slays him, even so is this matter: "
26 (ROH) Ale dievke neurobíš ničoho; dievka nemá hriechu, pre ktorý by mala zomrieť, lebo vec je tá istá, jako keby povstal niekto na svojho blížneho a zavraždil ho.

27 (UKJV) For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.
27 (ROH) Lebo ju našiel na poli; zasnúbená dievka kričala, a nebolo nikoho, kto by ju bol zachránil.

28 (UKJV) "If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; "
28 (ROH) Keby našiel niektorý muž dievku, pannu, ktorá by nebola zasnúbená, a pochytil by ju a ležal by s ňou, a boli by najdení,

29 (UKJV) "Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he has humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. "
29 (ROH) vtedy dá muž, ktorý ležal s ňou, otcovi dievky päťdesiat šeklov striebra, a bude mu ženou, za to, že ju ponížil, nebude ju môcť poslať preč po všetky svoje dni.

30 (UKJV) A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.
30 (ROH) Nikto si nevezme ženy svojho otca a neodkryje krýdla rúcha svojho otca.

Verš 1
You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide yourself from them: you shall in any case bring them again unto your brother.
Ex 23:4 - If you meet your enemy's ox or his ass going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.

Verš 12
You shall make you fringes upon the four quarters of your vesture, wherewith you cover yourself.
Nm 15:38 - Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a thread of blue:
Mt 23:5 - But all their works they do in order to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

"Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he has humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. "
Ex 22:16 - And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely secure her to be his wife.

Verš 22
If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shall you put away evil from Israel.
Lv 20:10 - And the man that commits adultery with another man's wife, even he that commits adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Verš 9
You shall not sow your vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of your seed which you have sown, and the fruit of your vineyard, be defiled.
Lv 19:19 - All of you shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle gender with a diverse kind: you shall not sow your field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon you.

Dt 22,1-4 - Porov. Ex 23,4–5, kde je reč o nepriateľovi, ktorý je tiež Izraelita. Tu sa hovorí o bratovi, teda o Izraelitovi bez rozdielu, či je priateľom alebo nepriateľom.

Dt 22,5 - Tento zákaz je namierený proti pohanským bohoslužobným zvykom, pri ktorých dochádzalo k nemravným výstrednostiam. Iní autori myslia, že tento predpis chcel aj navonok poukazovať na Božie rozhodnutie, keď Pán stvoril muža a ženu (Gn 1,27).

Dt 22,6-7 - To, čo je človekovi užitočné, nemá sa celkom vyničiť. Preto treba matku pustiť, aby mohla dochovať ďalšie mláďatá. Tento zákaz mal za cieľ vychovávať aj k ľudskosti a súcitnosti.

Dt 22,8 - Strechy na orientálnych domoch bývajú rovné, takže sa dá po nich prechádzať. Prístup na ne je obyčajne zvonku. Pozri Joz 2,6; 2 Sam 11,2; Mt 10,27; Sk 10,9.

Dt 22, 9-11 - Ťažko povedať, prečo sa to zakazovalo.

Dt 22,15 - Zdá sa, že rodičia rátali s prepustením svojej dcéry, a preto si po svadobnej noci dcérinej nechávali jej rúcho, na ktorom ostali stopy jej panenstva.

Dt 22,17 - Podľa zákona odvety muž by vlastne mal byť ukameňovaný (Dt 19,19), tu sa však robila výnimka, veď na to by bola doplatila len žena – ostala by vdovou.

Dt 22,22 - Pozri Lv 18,20; 20,10; Jn 8,5.

Dt 22,24 - Izraelské zasnúbenie dávalo obom stránkam právo aj manželské povinnosti. Preto snúbenec volal sa mužom a snúbenica ženou. Nevera snúbenice bola manželskou neverou.

Dt 22,28 - Porov. Ex 22,16 n.

Dt 22,30 - Pozri Lv 18,7 n. a 20,11. Žena otca je nevlastná matka, čiže druhá otcova žena. To platilo aj vtedy, keď nevlastná matka ako vdova po smrti otcovej mohla sa vydať.
