Kniha Deuteronómium

1 (KJV) Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.
1 (HEM) ונפן ונסע המדברה דרך ים סוף כאשר דבר יהוה אלי ונסב את הר שעיר ימים רבים׃
1 (KAT) Nato sme sa pohli a tiahli sme púšťou smerom k Červenému moru, ako nám prikázal Pán, a dlhý čas sme okľukou obchádzali vrchy Seir.

2 (KJV) And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
2 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
2 (KAT) Tu mi Pán hovoril:

3 (KJV) Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.
3 (HEM) רב לכם סב את ההר הזה פנו לכם צפנה׃
3 (KAT) »Dosť dlho ste obchádzali toto horstvo, teraz sa obráťte na sever!

4 (KJV) And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:
4 (HEM) ואת העם צו לאמר אתם עברים בגבול אחיכם בני עשו הישבים בשעיר וייראו מכם ונשמרתם מאד׃
4 (KAT) A ľudu rozkáž: Teraz prejdete cez územie svojich bratov, Ezauových synov, ktorí bývajú na Seire a boja sa vás; lež dávajte si veľký pozor,

5 (KJV) Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
5 (HEM) אל תתגרו בם כי לא אתן לכם מארצם עד מדרך כף רגל כי ירשה לעשו נתתי את הר שעיר׃
5 (KAT) nebojujte proti nim, lebo vám nedám z ich územia nič, ani na šírku šľapaje, lebo vrch Seir som dal do vlastníctva Ezauovi.

6 (KJV) Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.
6 (HEM) אכל תשברו מאתם בכסף ואכלתם וגם מים תכרו מאתם בכסף ושתיתם׃
6 (KAT) Pokrm na jedenie si kúpite od nich za peniaze, takisto i vodu na pitie si od nich kúpite za peniaze.

7 (KJV) For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
7 (HEM) כי יהוה אלהיך ברכך בכל מעשה ידך ידע לכתך את המדבר הגדל הזה זה ארבעים שנה יהוה אלהיך עמך לא חסרת דבר׃
7 (KAT) Veď Pán, tvoj Boh, žehnal všetkým prácam tvojich rúk. Vedel, že prejdeš touto veľkou púšťou: už štyridsať rokov je s tebou Pán, tvoj Boh, a nechýbalo ti nič.«

8 (KJV) And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.
8 (HEM) ונעבר מאת אחינו בני עשו הישבים בשעיר מדרך הערבה מאילת ומעצין גבר ונפן ונעבר דרך מדבר מואב׃
8 (KAT) Potom sme prešli vedľa (územia) našich bratov, Ezauových synov, ktorí bývajú na Seire, cez Arabu popri Elate a Asiongaberi a tiahli sme cestou smerom k Moabskej púšti.

9 (KJV) And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.
9 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אלי אל תצר את מואב ואל תתגר בם מלחמה כי לא אתן לך מארצו ירשה כי לבני לוט נתתי את ער ירשה׃
9 (KAT) Tu mi hovoril Pán: »Neobťažuj Moabčanov a nebojuj proti nim, lebo ti nedám nič z ich územia do vlastníctva; veď Lotovým synom som dal do vlastníctva Ar.

10 (KJV) The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;
10 (HEM) האמים לפנים ישבו בה עם גדול ורב ורם כענקים׃
10 (KAT) Predtým tu bývali Emci, ľud silný, početný a urastený ako Enakiti.

11 (KJV) Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.
11 (HEM) רפאים יחשבו אף הם כענקים והמאבים יקראו להם אמים׃
11 (KAT) Aj oni patrili k Refaimcom ako Enakiti. Moabčania sa však volajú Emci.

12 (KJV) The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.
12 (HEM) ובשעיר ישבו החרים לפנים ובני עשו יירשום וישמידום מפניהם וישבו תחתם כאשר עשה ישראל לארץ ירשתו אשר נתן יהוה להם׃
12 (KAT) Na Seire predtým bývali Horejci, lenže Ezauovi synovia ich vyhnali a zničili a osadili sa na ich mieste tak, ako to urobil Izrael v krajine svojho vlastníctva, ktorú im dal Pán.

13 (KJV) Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.
13 (HEM) עתה קמו ועברו לכם את נחל זרד ונעבר את נחל זרד׃
13 (KAT) Teraz sa zdvihni a prejdi cez potok Sared!« A tak sme prešli cez potok Sared.

14 (KJV) And the space in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.
14 (HEM) והימים אשר הלכנו מקדש ברנע עד אשר עברנו את נחל זרד שלשים ושמנה שנה עד תם כל הדור אנשי המלחמה מקרב המחנה כאשר נשבע יהוה להם׃
14 (KAT) A čas, čo sme blúdili od Kadešbarny až po prebrodenie potoka Sared, predstavoval tridsaťosem rokov, kým nevymrelo zo stanov všetko bojaschopné pokolenie, ako im prisahal Pán.

15 (KJV) For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.
15 (HEM) וגם יד יהוה היתה בם להמם מקרב המחנה עד תמם׃
15 (KAT) A Pánova ruka bola proti nim, takže úplne vyhynuli zo stanov.

16 (KJV) So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,
16 (HEM) ויהי כאשר תמו כל אנשי המלחמה למות מקרב העם׃
16 (KAT) Keď vymreli z ľudu všetci bojaschopní mužovia,

17 (KJV) That the LORD spake unto me, saying,
17 (HEM) וידבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
17 (KAT) povedal mi Pán:

18 (KJV) Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:
18 (HEM) אתה עבר היום את גבול מואב את ער׃
18 (KAT) »Teraz pôjdeš moabským územím pri (meste) Ar

19 (KJV) And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.
19 (HEM) וקרבת מול בני עמון אל תצרם ואל תתגר בם כי לא אתן מארץ בני עמון לך ירשה כי לבני לוט נתתיה ירשה׃
19 (KAT) a prídeš k Amončanom, lenže ich nebudeš obťažovať, ani bojovať proti nim, lebo ti nedám nič z amonskej krajiny do vlastníctva, lebo som ju dal do vlastníctva Lotovým synom.

20 (KJV) (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;
20 (HEM) ארץ רפאים תחשב אף הוא רפאים ישבו בה לפנים והעמנים יקראו להם זמזמים׃
20 (KAT) Aj túto považovali za krajinu Refaimcov; predtým tu bývali Refaimci. Amončania ich volajú Zamzumim.

21 (KJV) A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:
21 (HEM) עם גדול ורב ורם כענקים וישמידם יהוה מפניהם ויירשם וישבו תחתם׃
21 (KAT) Bol to mocný a početný ľud, urastený ako Enakiti, ale Pán ich zničil pred Amončanmi a oni sa zmocnili ich vlastníctva, a bývali namiesto nich,

22 (KJV) As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:
22 (HEM) כאשר עשה לבני עשו הישבים בשעיר אשר השמיד את החרי מפניהם ויירשם וישבו תחתם עד היום הזה׃
22 (KAT) ako to urobil pri Ezauových synoch, čo bývajú na Seire, pred ktorými vyhubil Horejcov, takže zaujali ich majetok a osadili sa na ich mieste až do dnešného dňa.

23 (KJV) And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)
23 (HEM) והעוים הישבים בחצרים עד עזה כפתרים היצאים מכפתור השמידם וישבו תחתם׃
23 (KAT) Aj Hevejcov, ktorí bývali až po Gazu, zničili Kaftorčania, ktorí vyšli z Kaftoru a osadili sa na ich mieste.

24 (KJV) Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
24 (HEM) קומו סעו ועברו את נחל ארנן ראה נתתי בידך את סיחן מלך חשבון האמרי ואת ארצו החל רש והתגר בו מלחמה׃
24 (KAT) Zdvihnite sa teda, dajte sa na pochod a prejdite cez rieku Arnon! Dávam ti do ruky hesebonského kráľa, Amorejčana Sehona! Začni teda dobývať jeho krajinu a viesť proti nemu vojnu!

25 (KJV) This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.
25 (HEM) היום הזה אחל תת פחדך ויראתך על פני העמים תחת כל השמים אשר ישמעון שמעך ורגזו וחלו מפניך׃
25 (KAT) Už dnes začnem vysielať pred tebou strach a zdesenie na všetky národy, čo sú pod celým nebom a čo počujú o tebe zvesť. Budú sa triasť a bedákať pred tebou.«

26 (KJV) And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,
26 (HEM) ואשלח מלאכים ממדבר קדמות אל סיחון מלך חשבון דברי שלום לאמר׃
26 (KAT) Z púšte Kedemot som poslal poslov k Sehonovi, kráľovi Hesebonu, s priateľskou ponukou:

27 (KJV) Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.
27 (HEM) אעברה בארצך בדרך בדרך אלך לא אסור ימין ושמאול׃
27 (KAT) »Chcel by som prejsť cez tvoje územie. Išiel by som len po ceste a neodchýlil by som sa ani napravo, ani naľavo.

28 (KJV) Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;
28 (HEM) אכל בכסף תשברני ואכלתי ומים בכסף תתן לי ושתיתי רק אעברה ברגלי׃
28 (KAT) Pokrm mi predáš za peniaze, aby som mal čo jesť, a vodu na pitie mi poskytneš tiež za peniaze. Chcem iba prejsť,

29 (KJV) (As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.
29 (HEM) כאשר עשו לי בני עשו הישבים בשעיר והמואבים הישבים בער עד אשר אעבר את הירדן אל הארץ אשר יהוה אלהינו נתן לנו׃
29 (KAT) ako mi to dovolili Ezauovi synovia, ktorí bývajú na Seire, a Moabčania, ktorí bývajú v Are, kým nedôjdem k Jordánu, do krajiny, ktorú nám chce dať Pán, náš Boh.«

30 (KJV) But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.
30 (HEM) ולא אבה סיחן מלך חשבון העברנו בו כי הקשה יהוה אלהיך את רוחו ואמץ את לבבו למען תתו בידך כיום הזה׃
30 (KAT) Ale Sehon, kráľ Hesebonu, nechcel pristať na to, aby sme tade prešli, lebo Pán, tvoj Boh, zaťal jeho ducha a zatvrdil mu srdce, aby ho tak vydal tebe do ruky, ako to dnes vidíš.

31 (KJV) And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.
31 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אלי ראה החלתי תת לפניך את סיחן ואת ארצו החל רש לרשת את ארצו׃
31 (KAT) Tu mi hovoril Pán: »Hľa, dávam ti Sehona a jeho krajinu, zmocni sa jeho krajiny!«

32 (KJV) Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.
32 (HEM) ויצא סיחן לקראתנו הוא וכל עמו למלחמה יהצה׃
32 (KAT) Keď Sehon vytiahol so všetkým svojím ľudom do boja proti nám pri Jase,

33 (KJV) And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.
33 (HEM) ויתנהו יהוה אלהינו לפנינו ונך אתו ואת בנו ואת כל עמו׃
33 (KAT) Pán, náš Boh, nám ho vydal napospas a porazili sme ho i jeho synov a všetok jeho ľud.

34 (KJV) And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:
34 (HEM) ונלכד את כל עריו בעת ההוא ונחרם את כל עיר מתם והנשים והטף לא השארנו שריד׃
34 (KAT) A v tom čase sme zaujali všetky jeho mestá a rozšírili sme kliatbu záhuby na všetky mestá, na mužov, ženy a deti. Nenechali sme nikoho.

35 (KJV) Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.
35 (HEM) רק הבהמה בזזנו לנו ושלל הערים אשר לכדנו׃
35 (KAT) Len dobytok sme si vzali za korisť spolu s korisťou miest, ktoré sme dobyli.

36 (KJV) From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:
36 (HEM) מערער אשר על שפת נחל ארנן והעיר אשר בנחל ועד הגלעד לא היתה קריה אשר שגבה ממנו את הכל נתן יהוה אלהינו לפנינו׃
36 (KAT) Od Aroeru, ktorý je na brehoch potoka Arnon, od mesta, čo je pri potoku, až po Galaád nebolo dediny ani mesta, ktoré by nám bolo odolalo, všetky nám vydal Pán.

37 (KJV) Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.
37 (HEM) רק אל ארץ בני עמון לא קרבת כל יד נחל יבק וערי ההר וכל אשר צוה יהוה אלהינו׃
37 (KAT) Iba na krajinu Amonových synov si nevztiahol ruku, na celé územie rieky Jabok, na mestá na výšine a na všetky mestá, o ktorých nám dal zákaz Pán, náš Boh.
