1 (KJV) Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.
1 (KAT) Dbaj na mesiac abíb, aby si slávil paschu Pánovi, svojmu Bohu, lebo v mesiaci abíb ťa vyviedol Pán, tvoj Boh, nočným časom z Egypta.
2 (KJV) Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.
2 (KAT) Ako paschu prinesieš žertvu Pánovi, svojmu Bohu, z oviec i dobytka na mieste, ktoré si vyvolí Pán, tvoj Boh, aby tam prebývalo jeho meno.
3 (KJV) Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
3 (KAT) Nebudeš s tým jesť kysnutý chlieb; šesť dní budeš jesť osúšky ako chlieb utrpenia - lebo v strachu si vyšiel z Egypta -, aby si sa rozpamätal na deň svojho odchodu z Egypta po všetky dni svojho života.
4 (KJV) And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there anything of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.
4 (KAT) Sedem dní nech nevidno kvas na celom tvojom území a do rána nesmie zostať nič z mäsa, ktoré sa obetovalo večer prvého dňa.
5 (KJV) Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee:
5 (KAT) Paschu nebudeš môcť obetovať v každom svojom bydlisku, ktoré ti dá Pán, tvoj Boh,
6 (KJV) But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
6 (KAT) ale iba na mieste, ktoré si vyvolí Pán, tvoj Boh, aby tam prebývalo jeho meno, budeš môcť obetovať paschu večer, keď zachodí slnko, v čase, v akom si vyšiel z Egypta.
7 (KJV) And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.
7 (KAT) Upečieš to a zješ na mieste, ktoré si vyvolí Pán, tvoj Boh; ráno však môžeš odísť do svojich stanov.
8 (KJV) Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.
8 (KAT) Šesť dní budeš jesť osúšky; na siedmy deň, pretože je sviatočné zhromaždenie Pána, tvojho Boha, nebudeš konať nijakú prácu.
9 (KJV) Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.
9 (KAT) Sedem týždňov rátaj odo dňa, keď si priložil kosák k obiliu,
10 (KJV) And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
10 (KAT) a potom sláv sviatok Pánovi, svojmu Bohu, a dobrovoľne prines obetu svojich rúk, podľa toho, ako ťa Pán, tvoj Boh, požehná.
11 (KJV) And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.
11 (KAT) Pred Pánom, svojím Bohom, potom hoduj ty i tvoj syn, tvoja dcéra, tvoj sluha i tvoja slúžka, aj levita, ktorý býva v tvojom bydlisku, cudzinec, sirota i vdova, ktorí bývajú s vami, na mieste, ktoré si vyvolí Pán, tvoj Boh, aby tam prebývalo jeho meno.
12 (KJV) And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
12 (KAT) A pamätaj, že si bol otrokom v Egypte, preto zachovávaj a plň tieto ustanovenia!
13 (KJV) Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
13 (KAT) Aj slávnosť Stánkov budeš sláviť sedem dní, keď zoberieš úrodu z humna a z lisu.
14 (KJV) And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
14 (KAT) Na svoj sviatok hoduj ty, tvoj syn, tvoja dcéra, tvoj sluha, tvoja slúžka, levita, cudzinec, sirota i vdova, ktorí sa zdržujú v tvojom bydlisku.
15 (KJV) Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
15 (KAT) Sedem dní budeš sláviť sviatky Pána, svojho Boha, na mieste, ktoré si vyvolí Pán, a Pán, tvoj Boh, ťa požehná na všetkej tvojej úrode a na každom tvojom podujatí, a ty sa budeš radovať.
16 (KJV) Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
16 (KAT) Tri razy do roka sa každý tvoj muž ukáže pred Pánom, svojím Bohom, na mieste, ktoré si on vyvolí: na slávnosť Nekvasených chlebov, na slávnosť Týždňov a na slávnosť Stánkov, ale neukáže sa pred Pánom s prázdnymi rukami.
17 (KJV) Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.
17 (KAT) Donesie na obetu, čo bude mať, podľa toho, ako ho požehná Pán, tvoj Boh.
18 (KJV) Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
18 (KAT) Vo všetkých bydliskách, ktoré ti dá Pán, tvoj Boh, ustanovíš podľa kmeňov sudcov a pisárov, aby súdili ľud spravodlivým súdom.
19 (KJV) Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
19 (KAT) Nech sa nechýlia na jednu stranu, nebudeš brať ohľad na osobu a dary neprijmeš, lebo dar zaslepuje oči múdrych a prevracia reči spravodlivých.
20 (KJV) That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
20 (KAT) Statočne vyhľadávaj spravodlivosť, aby si ostal nažive a aby si si mohol udržať vo vlastníctve krajinu, ktorú ti dá Pán, tvoj Boh.
21 (KJV) Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.
21 (KAT) Nevysadíš háj a nijaký strom pri oltári Pána, svojho Boha, ktorý mu urobíš.
22 (KJV) Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.
22 (KAT) Ani nepostavíš sochu, lebo Pán, tvoj Boh, to nenávidí.

Verš 1
Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.
Ex 12:2 - This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Lv 23:5 - In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's passover.
Nm 9:1 - And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
Nm 28:16 - And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the LORD.
Verš 3
Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
Ex 12:19 - Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
Ex 34:18 - The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
Verš 4
And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there anything of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.
Ex 12:10 - And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
Verš 9
Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.
Ex 23:16 - And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
Lv 23:15 - And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
Nm 28:26 - Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
Ex 23:16 - And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
Lv 23:34 - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
Ex 23:17 - Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.
Ex 34:23 - Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
Ex 23:15 - Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
Verš 19
Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
Lv 19:15 - Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
Dt 1:17 - Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
Ex 23:8 - And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
Dt 16,1-22 - O troch výročitých sviatkoch porov. Ex 23,14–18; 34,18–23; Lv 23; Nm 28 n. V tejto rozprave dáva Mojžiš dôraz na to, aby sa výročité sviatky slávili vo svätyni. Ostatné predpisy predpokladá ako známe.
Dt 16,1 - Abíb, čiže mesiac klasov, volá sa aj nisan a zodpovedá nášmu marcu–aprílu. V Palestíne sa v tieto mesiace chystajú už na žatvu (Ex 12,2).
Dt 16,3 - O nekvasenom chlebe pozri Ex 13,7.
Dt 16,6 - Pozri Ex 12,6; Lv 23,5; Nm 9,3.5.11. V tomto verši ide len o veľkonočného baránka. Pascha sa musí sláviť len pri svätyni (vv. 2.6.7.11.15.16).
Dt 16,9-12 - Porov. Ex 34,19 n.; Lv 23,15 n.; Nm 28,26 n.
Dt 16,13-15 - Pozri Ex 23,16; Lv 23,33–43; Nm 29,12–38. – Ženy sa nemuseli zúčastniť na týchto troch sviatkoch, mohli však sprevádzať svojich mužov.
Dt 16,18-20 - Porov. Ex 18,13–26; Dt 1,17. Mojžiš týmto nariadením chce zaistiť verejné právo na dobu, keď Izraeliti budú v Palestíne. Ustanovuje v každom mieste sudcov a pisárov, ktorí budú sedávať pri mestských bránach a budú rozsudzovať obyčajné spory, čo sa vyskytnú na území mesta alebo dediny. Keď išlo o vážnejší prípad, rozhodnutie sa malo ponechať najvyššiemu súdu, ktorý bude v Jeruzaleme a od ktorého nebude odvolania. Pozri 17,8–13.
Dt 16,21-22 - Zákaz pohanskej bohoslužby, pozri vyššie 12,2–3; Ex 23,24; 34,13.
