Dt 14, 1-29

1 (CPDV) “Be sons of the Lord your God. You shall not cut yourselves, nor make yourselves bald, because of the dead.
1 (ROH) Vy ste synmi Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu, nebudete sa rezať ani si nespravíte lysiny medzi svojimi očami za mŕtveho.

2 (CPDV) For you are a holy people, for the Lord your God. And he chose you, so that you may be a people particularly his, out of all the nations on earth.
2 (ROH) Lebo ty si svätý ľud Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu, a teba si vyvolil Hospodin, aby si mu bol ľudom zvláštneho vlastníctva nad všetky národy, ktoré sú na tvári zeme.

3 (CPDV) You shall not eat the things that are unclean.
3 (ROH) Nebudeš jesť nijakej veci ohavnej!

4 (CPDV) These are the animals which you ought to eat: the ox, and the sheep, and the goat,

5 (CPDV) the stag and the roe deer, the gazelle, the wild goat, the addax, the antelope, the giraffe.
5 (ROH) jeleňa, srnu, antilopu, kozorožca, kamzíka, gazelu a losa.

6 (CPDV) Every beast which has a hoof divided into two parts and which also chews the cud, you shall eat.
6 (ROH) I každé hovädo, ktoré má rozdelené kopyto a má ho rozdvojené, to, čo prežúva medzi hovädami, to budete jesť.

7 (CPDV) But those which chew over again, but do not have a divided hoof, you must not eat, such as the camel, the hare, and the hyrax. Since these chew the cud, but do not have a divided the hoof, they shall be unclean to you.
7 (ROH) Ale týchto nebudete jesť zpomedzi tých, ktoré prežúvajú, a zpomedzi tých, ktoré majú rozdelené kopyto a rozdvojené: veľblúda, zajaca a králika, lebo síce prežúvajú, ale nemajú kopyta rozdeleného; nečistými sú vám.

8 (CPDV) The pig also, since it has a divided hoof, but does not chew over again, shall be unclean. Their flesh shall not be eaten, and you shall not touch their carcasses.
8 (ROH) Nebudete jesť ani svine, lebo tá má kopyto rozdelené, ale neprežúva; nečistou vám bude. Ich mäsa nebudete jesť a ich mŕtvol sa nedotknete.

9 (CPDV) These you shall eat out of all that dwells in the waters: whatever has fins and scales, you shall eat.
9 (ROH) Tieto budete jesť zo všetkých zvierat, ktoré sú vo vode: čokoľvek, čo má plutvy a šupiny, budete jesť.

10 (CPDV) Whatever is without fins and scales, you shall not eat, for these are unclean.
10 (ROH) Ale z toho, čo nemá plutiev a šupín, nebudete jesť ničoho; nečistým vám bude.

11 (CPDV) All the clean birds, you shall eat.
11 (ROH) Čistých vtákov budete jesť ktorýchkoľvek.

12 (CPDV) You shall not eat those that are unclean: such as the eagle, and the griffin, and the osprey,

13 (CPDV) the crane, and the vulture, and the kite, according to their kind,
13 (ROH) kaňa, sokol, luniak a jeho druh.

14 (CPDV) and any kind of raven,
14 (ROH) Niktorého krkavca, ani jeho druhu nebudete jesť,

15 (CPDV) and the ostrich, and the owl, and the gull, and the hawk, according to their kind,
15 (ROH) ani pštrosa ani sovy ani čajky ani jastraba ani jeho druhu,

16 (CPDV) the heron, and the swan, and the ibis,
16 (ROH) ani bukača ani kuvika ani ibisa

17 (CPDV) and the sea bird, the marsh hen, and the night raven,
17 (ROH) ani pelikána ani labute ani krehára

18 (CPDV) the pelican and the plover, each in their kind, likewise the crested hoopoe and the bat.
18 (ROH) ani bociana ani volavky ani jej druhu ani dudka ani netopiera

19 (CPDV) And anything which crawls and also has little wings shall be unclean, and shall not be eaten.
19 (ROH) ani niktorého okrýdleného plazu; nečistým vám bude; nebudú sa jesť.

20 (CPDV) All that is clean, you shall eat.
20 (ROH) Čistého vtáka budete jesť ktoréhokoľvek.

21 (CPDV) But whatever has died of itself, you shall not eat from it. Give it to the sojourner, who is within your gates, so that he may eat, or sell it to him. For you are the holy people of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in the milk of his mother.
21 (ROH) Nebudete jesť nijakej zdochliny; pohostínovi, ktorý je v tvojich bránach, ju dáš, a bude ju jesť, alebo predať cudzozemcovi; lebo ty si svätý ľud Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu. Nebudeš variť kozľaťa v mlieku jeho materi.

22 (CPDV) Each year, you shall separate the tithes out of all your crops which spring forth from the earth.

23 (CPDV) And you shall eat these in the sight of the Lord your God, in the place which he will choose, so that his name may be invoked there: the tenth part of your grain and wine and oil, and the firstborn from the herds and your sheep. So may you learn to fear the Lord your God at all times.
23 (ROH) A budeš jesť pred Hospodinom, svojím Bohom, na mieste, ktoré si vyvolí nato, aby tam prebývalo jeho meno, desiatok svojho obilia, svojho vína, svojho oleja a prvorodeného svojho dobytka a svojho drobného stáda, aby si sa naučil báť sa Hospodina, svojho Boha, po všetky dni.

24 (CPDV) But when the way and the place which the Lord your God will have chosen is further away, and he will have blessed you, so that you are not able to carry all these things to it,
24 (ROH) A keby ti bolo primnoho cesty, takže by si to nemohol zaniesť, pretože by bolo priďaleko od teba miesto, ktoré vyvolí Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, nato, aby tam položil svoje meno, keď ťa požehná Hospodin, tvoj Bôh,

25 (CPDV) you shall sell them all, so as to turn them into money, and you shall carry it in your hand, and you shall set out for the place which the Lord will choose.
25 (ROH) vtedy to speňažíš a zavrieš peniaze do svojej ruky a pojdeš na miesto, ktoré si vyvolí Hospodin, tvoj Bôh.

26 (CPDV) And you shall buy with the same money whatever pleases you, either from the herds or from the sheep, and also wine and liquor, and all that your soul desires. And you shall eat in the sight of the Lord your God, and you shall feast: you and your household.

27 (CPDV) As for the Levite, who is within your gates, take care that you do not abandon him, for he has no other portion within your possession.
27 (ROH) A Levitu, ktorý bude v tvojich bránach, neopustíš, lebo nemá podielu ani dedičstva s tebou.

28 (CPDV) In the third year, you shall separate another tenth part of all the things which spring forth for you at that time, and you shall store it within your 104 gates.
28 (ROH) Na konci troch rokov odvedieš každý desiatok svojej úrody, toho roku, a složíš ho vo svojich bránach.

29 (CPDV) And the Levite, who has no other portion or possession with you, and the sojourner as well as the orphan and the widow who are within your gates, shall approach and eat and be satisfied, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the works of your hands which you shall do.”
29 (ROH) A prijde Levita, lebo nemá podielu ani dedičstva s tebou, i pohostín i sirota i vdova, ktorí sú v tvojich bránach, a budú jesť a nasýtia sa, aby ťa požehnal Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, v každej práci tvojej ruky, ktorú budeš konať.

Lv 11:2 - Say to the sons of Israel: These are the animals that you ought to eat out of all the living things of the earth.

Verš 21
But whatever has died of itself, you shall not eat from it. Give it to the sojourner, who is within your gates, so that he may eat, or sell it to him. For you are the holy people of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in the milk of his mother.

Ex 34:26 - The first of the fruits of your land you shall offer in the house of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in the milk of its mother.”

Verš 23
And you shall eat these in the sight of the Lord your God, in the place which he will choose, so that his name may be invoked there: the tenth part of your grain and wine and oil, and the firstborn from the herds and your sheep. So may you learn to fear the Lord your God at all times.
Dt 12:17 - You may not eat in your towns the tithes of your crops, and your wine and oil, the firstborn of your herds and your flocks, nor anything which you will vow, or which you will offer spontaneously, nor the first-fruits of your hands.

Nm 18:20 - And the Lord said to Aaron: “In their land, you shall possess nothing; neither shall you have a portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance in the midst of the sons of Israel.
Nm 18:24 - being content with the oblation of tithes, which I have separated for their uses and necessities.”
Dt 10:9 - As a result, Levi has no portion or possession with his brothers. For the Lord himself is his possession, just as the Lord your God promised him.
