1 2Kor 13, 1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. 2 2Kor 13, 2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare: 3 2Kor 13, 3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you. 4 2Kor 13, 4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. 5 2Kor 13, 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6 2Kor 13, 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 7 2Kor 13, 7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. 8 2Kor 13, 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 9 2Kor 13, 9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. 10 2Kor 13, 10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. 11 2Kor 13, 11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 12 2Kor 13, 12 Greet one another with an holy kiss. 13 2Kor 13, 13 All the saints salute you. 14 2Kor 13, 14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

Verš 1
This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
Nm 35:30 - Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.
Dt 17:6 - At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
Dt 19:5 - As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:
Mt 18:16 - But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
Jn 8:17 - It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
Heb 10:28 - He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Verš 10
Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
2Kor 10:8 - For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
Verš 11
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
Rim 12:16 - Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Rim 15:5 - Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
1Kor 1:10 - Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Flp 2:2 - Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
1Pt 3:8 - Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Rim 12:18 - If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Heb 12:14 - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Verš 12
Greet one another with an holy kiss.
Rim 16:16 - Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.
1Kor 16:20 - All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
1Sol 5:26 - Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
1Pt 5:14 - Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Verš 5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
1Kor 11:28 - But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
2Kor 13,1 - Prvý raz bol v Korinte, keď tam založil cirkevnú obec (Sk 18, 1); druhý raz v čase medzi prvým a druhým listom (1, 15 n.). Citát je z Dt 19, 15.
2Kor 13,12 - Svätý bozk je bratský bozk, ktorý si dávali kresťania na liturgických zhromaždeniach (porov. Rim 16, 16; 1 Kor 16, 20; 1 Sol 5, 26).
2Kor 13,13 - Je to najjasnejšie vyjadrená trojičná formula. Pochádza pravdepodobne z liturgie. "Božia láska" – doslovne "láska Boha (Otca)".
