Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not all of you my work in the Lord?

Have we not power to eat and to drink?
1Kor 9:14 - Even so has the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

2Sol 3:9 - Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us.

Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

Who goes a warfare any time at his own charges? who plants a vineyard, and eats not of the fruit thereof? or who feeds a flock, and eats not of the milk of the flock?

Verš 9
For it is written in the law of Moses, You shall not suppress the mouth of the ox that treads out the corn. Does God take care for oxen?
Dt 25:4 - You shall not suppress the ox when he treads out the corn.
1Tim 5:18 - For the scripture says, You shall not suppress the ox that treads out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
Rim 15:27 - "It has pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. "
Gal 6:6 - Let him that is taught in the word (o. logos) communicate unto him that teaches in all good things.

"If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. "
