1 (HEM) ולענים מה שכתבתם אלי הנה טוב לאדם שלא יגע באשה׃
1 (UKJV) Now concerning the things whereof all of you wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 (HEM) אך מפני הזנות תהי לכל איש אשתו ויהי לכל אשה בעלה׃
2 (UKJV) Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
3 (HEM) האיש יקים חובת העונה לאשתו וכמו כן האשה לבעלה׃
3 (UKJV) Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 (HEM) האשה איננה שלטת על גופה כי אם בעלה וכמו כן גם האיש איננו שלט על גופו כי אם אשתו׃
4 (UKJV) The wife has not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband has not power of his own body, but the wife.
5 (HEM) אל תמנעו את עצמכם זה מזה זולתי בהסכמת שניכם על זמן קבוע להיות פנוים לתענית ולתפלה ותשובו ותתאחדו פן ינסה אתכם השטן בעבור פריצות יצרכם׃
5 (UKJV) "Defraud all of you not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that all of you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. "
6 (HEM) ואני אמר זאת בדרך עצה ולא בדרך מצוה׃
6 (UKJV) But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.
7 (HEM) כי מי יתן והיה כל אדם כמני אך יש לכל איש מתנתו מאת האלהים זה בכה וזה בכה׃
7 (UKJV) For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man has his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
8 (HEM) ואל הפנוים ואל האלמנות אמר אני כי טוב להם אם ישבו ככה כמו גם אני׃
8 (UKJV) I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
9 (HEM) אך אם לא יוכלו להנזר יתחברו בנשואין כי טוב להתחבר בנשואין מהיות בער בתאוה׃
9 (UKJV) But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
10 (HEM) והנה את הנשואים אנכי מצוה ולא אנכי כי אם האדון אשר לא תפרש אשה מבעלה׃
10 (UKJV) And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 (HEM) ואם פרש תפרש ממנו תשב בלא איש או תתרצה לבעלה ואיש אל ישלח את אשתו׃
11 (UKJV) But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
12 (HEM) והנה אל האחרים אמר אנכי ולא האדון כי תהיה לאח אשה אשר איננה מאמנת ורצונה לשבת עמו לא יעזבנה׃
12 (UKJV) But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother has a wife that believes not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
13 (HEM) ואשה כי יהיה לה בעל אשר איננו מאמין ורצונו לשבת עמה לא תעזבנו׃
13 (UKJV) And the woman which has an husband that believes not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
14 (HEM) כי האיש אשר איננו מאמין מקדש הוא באשה והאשה אשר איננה מאמנת מקדשת היא באיש שאם לא כן יהיו בניכם טמאים אמנם עתה קדושים המה׃
14 (UKJV) "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. "
15 (HEM) אבל אם יפרש מי שאיננו מאמין יפרש והאח או האחות אינם משעבדים באלה כי לשלום קראנו האלהים׃
15 (UKJV) But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God has called us to peace.
16 (HEM) כי מה תדעי את האשה אם תושיעי את האיש ומה תדע אתה האיש אם תושיע את האשה׃
16 (UKJV) For what know you, O wife, whether you shall save your husband? or how know you, O man, whether you shall save your wife?
17 (HEM) רק יתהלך איש איש כפי מה שחלק לו האלהים וכפי מה שקרא אתו האדון וכן מתקן אנכי בכל הקהלות׃
17 (UKJV) But as God has distributed to every man, as the Lord has called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.
18 (HEM) אם נמול האיש המקרא אל ימשך את ערלתו ואם ערל הוא אל ימול׃
18 (UKJV) Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.
19 (HEM) אין המילה נחשבה ואין הערלה נחשבה כי אם שמירת מצות האלהים׃
19 (UKJV) Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
20 (HEM) איש איש במשמרתו אשר נקרא בה שם יעמד׃
20 (UKJV) Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
21 (HEM) אם נקראת בהיותך עבד אל ירע בעיניך אלא אם תשיג ידך לצאת לחפשי בחר בזה׃
21 (UKJV) Are you called being a servant? care not for it: but if you may be made free, use it rather.
22 (HEM) כי הקרוא באדון בהיותו עבד משחרר הוא לאדון וככה גם הקרוא בהיותו חפשי עבד הוא למשיח׃
22 (UKJV) For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
23 (HEM) במחיר נקניתם אל תהיו עבדי בני אדם׃
23 (UKJV) "All of you are bought with a price; be not all of you the servants of men. "
24 (HEM) איש איש במשמרת אשר נקרא בה אחי בזאת יעמד לפני האלהים׃
24 (UKJV) Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
25 (HEM) ועל דבר הבתולות אין לי מצוה מאת האדון רק אודיע את עצתי אחרי אשר חנני האדון להיות נאמן׃
25 (UKJV) Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that has obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.
26 (HEM) הנני חשב כי טוב לאדם מפני הצרה הקרובה כי טוב לו להיות כמו שהוא׃
26 (UKJV) I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.
27 (HEM) אם נקשרת באשה אל תבקש להפטר ואם נפטרת אל תבקש אשה׃
27 (UKJV) Are you bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Are you loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.
28 (HEM) וגם כי תקח אשה אינך חטא והבתולה כי תהיה לאיש איננה חטאת אך יבאום צרות בבשרם והנני חס עליכם׃
28 (UKJV) "But and if you marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she has not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. "
29 (HEM) וזאת אני אמר אחי כי השעה דחוקה למען מעתה יהיו הנשואים כאלו אין להם נשים׃
29 (UKJV) "But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remains, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; "
30 (HEM) והבכים כאינם בכים והשמחים כאינם שמחים והקונים כאלו אין קנין בידם׃
30 (UKJV) "And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; "
31 (HEM) והנהנים מן העולם הזה כאלו אין להם הנאה ממנו כי עבור יעבר תאר העולם הזה׃
31 (UKJV) And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passes away.
32 (HEM) ואני חפצתי שתהיו בלי דאגה מי שאין לו אשה דאג לאשר לאדון איך ייטב בעיני האדון׃
32 (UKJV) But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried cares for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
33 (HEM) ומי שיש לו אשה דאג הוא לעניני העולם איך ייטב בעיני האשה׃
33 (UKJV) But he that is married cares for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
34 (HEM) יש הבדל בין אשת איש לבתולה כי האשה אשר לא היתה לאיש דאגת לאשר לאדון ולהיות קדושה גם בגופה גם ברוחה ובעולת בעל דאגת היא לעניני העולם איך תיטב בעיני בעלה׃
34 (UKJV) There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: (o. pneuma) but she that is married cares for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
35 (HEM) וזאת אני אמר לתועלתכם ולא להשליך עליכם פח כי אם להנהגה טובה ולהיותכם נכונים תמיד לפני האדון באין מנע׃
35 (UKJV) "And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that all of you may attend upon the Lord without distraction. "
36 (HEM) וכי יחשב איש למעשה שלא כהגן לבתולתו אם תעבר פרקה ודבר חובה הוא אז יעשה כאשר עם לבבו איננו חוטא ישיאנה׃
36 (UKJV) But if any man think that he behaves himself indecent toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sins not: let them marry.
37 (HEM) ומי שהוא נכון בלבו ואיננו מכרח ויוכל לעשות כרצונו ויגמר זאת בלבו לשמר את בתולתו טוב עשה׃
37 (UKJV) Nevertheless he that stands steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but has power over his own will, and has so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, does well.
38 (HEM) לכן המשיא אתה טוב הוא עשה ואשר איננו משיא עשה טוב ממנו׃
38 (UKJV) "So then he that gives her in marriage does well; but he that gives her not in marriage does better. "
39 (HEM) האשה קשורה לבעלה על פי התורה כל עת שהוא חי וכי מת בעלה אזי מתרת היא להנשא למי שתרצה ובלבד שתהיה באדון׃
39 (UKJV) "The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. "
40 (HEM) אבל אשריה יותר אם תעמד פנויה זאת דעתי ואחשב גם אני כי רוח אלהים בי׃
40 (UKJV) But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit (o. pneuma) of God.

ואני חפצתי שתהיו בלי דאגה מי שאין לו אשה דאג לאשר לאדון איך ייטב בעיני האדון׃
1Tim 5:5 - אבל האלמנה באמת אשר נשארה יחידה שמה אלהים מבטחה ומתמדת בתפלות ובתחנות לילה ויומם׃
Verš 3
האיש יקים חובת העונה לאשתו וכמו כן האשה לבעלה׃
1Pt 3:7 - וכן אתם האנשים שבו עמהן בתבונה כי כלי רפה האשה ותנו לה כבוד כי גם להן יש חלק בנחלת מתנת החיים פן תכלאו מתפלותיכם׃

כי מי יתן והיה כל אדם כמני אך יש לכל איש מתנתו מאת האלהים זה בכה וזה בכה׃
Sk 26:29 - ויאמר פולוס אבקשה מאלהים אשר אם במעט ואם בהרבה לא אתה לבדך כי גם כל השמעים אותי יהיו כמוני זולתי המוסרות האלה׃
Mt 19:12 - יש סריסים אשר נולדו כן מבטן אמם ויש סריסים המסרסים על ידי אדם ויש סריסים אשר סרסו את עצמם למען מלכות השמים מי שיוכל לקבל יקבל׃

אבל אשריה יותר אם תעמד פנויה זאת דעתי ואחשב גם אני כי רוח אלהים בי׃
1Sol 4:8 - על כן הבוזה זאת לא אנשים הוא בוזה כי אם את האלהים אשר גם שם בקרבנו את רוח קדשו׃
Verš 9
אך אם לא יוכלו להנזר יתחברו בנשואין כי טוב להתחבר בנשואין מהיות בער בתאוה׃
1Tim 5:14 - על כן רצוני כי הצעירות תהיינה לאיש ללדת בנים ולהנהיג את בתיהן ולא לתת לאיב תאנה לחרף׃

והנה את הנשואים אנכי מצוה ולא אנכי כי אם האדון אשר לא תפרש אשה מבעלה׃
Mal 2:14 - ואמרתם על מה על כי יהוה העיד בינך ובין אשת נעוריך אשר אתה בגדתה בה והיא חברתך ואשת בריתך׃
Mt 5:32 - אבל אני אמר לכם המשלח את אשתו בלתי על דבר זנות עשה אתה נאפת והלקח את הגרושה לו לאשה נאף הוא׃
Mt 19:9 - ואני אמר לכם המשלח את אשתו בלתי על דבר זנות ולקח לו אחרת נאף הוא והלקח את הגרושה נאף הוא׃

Rim 7:2 - כי אשה בעלת בעל קשורה היא באישה כפי התורה בחייו ובמות הבעל פטורה היא מתורת בעלה׃

כי מה תדעי את האשה אם תושיעי את האיש ומה תדע אתה האיש אם תושיע את האשה׃
1Pt 3:1 - וכן אתן הנשים הכנענה לפני בעליכן למען גם אם יש אשר אינם שמעים לדבר יקנו באין אמר ודברים על ידי מעשי הנשים׃

איש איש במשמרתו אשר נקרא בה שם יעמד׃
Ef 4:1 - לכן אזהירכם אני האסור באדון להתהלך כאשר יאתה למשמרתכם אשר נקראתם לה׃
Flp 1:27 - רק חתנהגו כראוי לבשורת המשיח למען אשמע עליכם אם בבואי לראותכם אם בהיותי רחוק כי קימים אתם ברוח אחת ועזרים אתי בנפש אחת להלחם בעד אמונת הבשורה׃
Kol 1:10 - להתהלך כטוב בעיני האדון וככל רצונו ולעשות פרי בכל מעשה טוב ולרבות בדעת אלהים׃

Heb 9:12 - גם לא בא בדם שעירים ועגלים אלא בדם נפשו בא בפעם אחת אל הקדש פנימה וימצא גאלת עולם׃
1Pt 1:18 - מדעתכם כי לא בדבר נפסד בכסף או בזהב נפדיתם מדרך הבלכם אשר הנחלתם מאת אבותיכם׃

והנהנים מן העולם הזה כאלו אין להם הנאה ממנו כי עבור יעבר תאר העולם הזה׃
Iz 40:6 - קול אמר קרא ואמר מה אקרא כל הבשר חציר וכל חסדו כציץ השדה׃
Jak 1:10 - והעשיר יתהלל בשפלותו כי יעבר כציץ החציר׃
Jak 4:14 - ולא תדעו מה ילד יום מחר כי מה חייכם עשן הם אשר נראה כמעט רגע ואחר כלה וילך׃
1Pt 1:24 - כי כל בשר חציר וכל כבוד איש כציץ השדה יבש חציר נבל ציץ׃

1Kor 7,1-7 - Pavol tu nepodáva celú náuku o manželstve a panenstve, ale iba odpovedá na konkrétne otázky, ktoré sa v Korinte vyskytli.
1Kor 7,7 - "Ako som ja", t. j. neženatý.
1Kor 7,10 - Nerozlučnosť manželstva je stálou náukou Cirkvi od počiatku. Porov. Mt 5, 32; 19, 9; Mk 10, 11; Lk 16, 18.
1Kor 7,12 - "Ostatní" sú tí, ktorých manželský partner ostal nepokrstený.
1Kor 7,14 - Neveriaci manželský partner vďaka veriacemu partnerovi má určitým spôsobom účasť na svätosti Cirkvi a ich deti vzhľadom na kresťanského manžela patria k Božiemu ľudu.
1Kor 7,15 - Je to tzv. "Privilegium Paulinum". Podľa neho manželstvo nepokrstených možno rozviesť, ak sa jedna stránka dá pokrstiť a druhá, nepokrstená, nechce s ňou nažívať v pokoji. Pavol takto rozhodol na základe svojej apoštolskej moci.
1Kor 7,17-24 - V každom stave možno slúžiť Bohu a dosiahnuť spásu. Preto človek nemusí meniť stav. Neznamená to, že by Pavol schvaľoval otroctvo, hoci hovorí, že aj otrok môže vo svojom stave dosiahnuť spásu. Pavol neschvaľuje ani duchovné otroctvo človeka (v. 23) ako stav výlučnej závislosti od druhého človeka namiesto závislosti od Boha. Pokiaľ ide o staroveké otroctvo, Pavol sa tu nepokúša revolučne ho zničiť; kresťanstvo ho odstráni pretvorením ľudí. Porov. celý List Filemonovi.
1Kor 7,19 - Porov. Gal 6, 15; Rim 2, 29; Jn 14, 15.
1Kor 7,21 - Tento verš sa vysvetľuje dvojako: a) využiť otrocké postavenie na spásu; b) využiť možnosť stať sa slobodným.
1Kor 7,29 - Apoštol tu nemyslí na skorý koniec sveta. Skôr má pred očami krátkosť ľudského života a nestálosť sveta (v. 31).
1Kor 7,36-38 - Podľa klasického výkladu treba text chápať v tomto zmysle: V antickej spoločnosti mohol otec nakladať so svojou dcérou podľa ľubovôle. Tu ide o pannu žijúcu pod ochranou otca alebo tútora, ktorá už prekročila vek a ktorá by sa mala vydať ("má sa tak stať"). Výraz "nech sa vezmú" je všeobecný. Nie je teda potrebné vykladať ho v tom zmysle, že by medzi tútorom a pannou bol citový vzťah. Zdôrazňuje sa, že sú slobodní rozhodnúť sa, či sa panna vydá, alebo nie. Že je panenstvo lepšie, vysvitá z 38. verša.
1Kor 7,39 - Môže sa vydať, ale iba v Pánovi, čiže za kresťana.
