Verš 2
Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Ž 147:19 - He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
Rim 9:4 - Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
Verš 3
For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
Nm 23:19 - God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Rim 9:6 - Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
2Tim 2:13 - If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
Verš 4
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Jn 3:33 - He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
Ž 116:11 - I said in my haste, All men are liars.
Ž 51:4 - Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Verš 9
What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Gal 3:22 - But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Verš 10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Ž 14:3 - They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Ž 53:3 - Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Verš 13
Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
Ž 5:9 - For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
Ž 140:3 - They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
Verš 14
Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
Ž 10:7 - His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
Verš 15
Their feet are swift to shed blood:
Prís 1:16 - For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
Iz 59:7 - Their feet run to evil, and they make hast to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
Verš 18
There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Ž 36:1 - The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
Verš 20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Gal 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Rim 7:7 - What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Heb 7:18 - For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
Verš 21
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Rim 1:17 - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Flp 3:9 - And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Verš 24
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Iz 53:5 - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Verš 25
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
2Kor 5:19 - To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Kol 1:20 - And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Heb 4:16 - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
1Jn 4:10 - Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Ex 25:17 - And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
Verš 28
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Sk 13:38 - Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
Rim 8:3 - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Gal 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Heb 7:25 - Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Rim 3,21 - "Ospravedlnenie" znamená odpustenie hriechov a získanie milosti.
