1 (HEM) ושאול עודנו יפח זעם ורצח על תלמידי האדון ויבא אל הכהן הגדול׃
1 (KAT) Šavol ešte stále dychtil po hrozbách a zabíjaní Pánových učeníkov. Išiel teda k veľkňazovi
1 (UKJV) And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

2 (HEM) וישאל מאתו מכתבים לדמשק אל בתי הכנסיות למען אשר יאסר את אשר ימצא בדרך ההיא אנשים או נשים ויביאם ירושלים׃
2 (KAT) a vyžiadal si od neho listy pre synagógy v Damasku, aby mohol stúpencov tejto Cesty, mužov i ženy, ak tam dajakých nájde, v putách priviesť do Jeruzalema.
2 (UKJV) And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

3 (HEM) ויהי הוא הלך וקרב לדמשק והנה פתאם נגה עליו מסביב אור מן השמים׃
3 (KAT) Ako šiel a blížil sa k Damasku, zrazu ho zalialo svetlo z neba.
3 (UKJV) And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

4 (HEM) ויפל ארצה וישמע קול מדבר אליו שאול שאול למה תרדפני׃
4 (KAT) Padol na zem a počul hlas, ktorý mu hovoril: „Šavol, Šavol, prečo ma prenasleduješ?“
4 (UKJV) And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me?

5 (HEM) ויאמר מי אתה אדני ויאמר האדון אנכי ישוע אשר אתה רודף קשה לך לבעט בדרבנות׃
5 (KAT) On povedal: „Kto si, Pane?“ A ten: „Ja som Ježiš, ktorého ty prenasleduješ.
5 (UKJV) And he said, Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute: it is hard for you to kick against the pricks.

6 (HEM) והוא חרד ונבעת ויאמר אדני מה תחפץ ואעשה ויען האדון קום לך העירה ויאמר לך את אשר עליך לעשות׃
6 (KAT) Ale vstaň, choď do mesta a povedia ti, čo máš robiť.“
6 (UKJV) And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what will you have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do.

7 (HEM) והאנשים אשר הלכו אתו עמדו נאלמים כי שמעו את הקול ואיש לא הביטו׃
7 (KAT) Muži, čo ho sprevádzali, stáli ako ohromení, lebo hlas počuli, ale nikoho nevideli.
7 (UKJV) And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

8 (HEM) ויקם שאול מן הארץ ובפתחו את עיניו לא ראה איש ויחזיקו בידו ויוליכהו לדמשק׃
8 (KAT) Šavol vstal zo zeme, otvoril oči, ale nič nevidel. Vzali ho teda za ruku a zaviedli do Damasku.
8 (UKJV) "And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. "

9 (HEM) ויחשכו עיניו מראות שלשת ימים ולא אכל ולא שתה׃
9 (KAT) Tri dni nevidel a nejedol, ani nepil.
9 (UKJV) And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

10 (HEM) ותלמיד אחד היה בדמשק חנניה שמו ויאמר אליו האדון במחזה חנניה ויאמר הנני אדני׃
10 (KAT) V Damasku bol istý učeník, menom Ananiáš, a Pán ho vo videní oslovil: „Ananiáš!“ On povedal: „Tu som, Pane.“
10 (UKJV) "And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. "

11 (HEM) ויאמר אליו האדון קום לך אל הרחוב הנקרא הישר ושאל בבית יהודה לאיש טרסי ושמו שאול כי הנה הוא מתפלל׃
11 (KAT) A Pán jemu: „Vstaň a choď do ulice, ktorá sa volá Rovná, a v Júdovom dome vyhľadaj Šavla prímením Tarzského; práve sa modlí
11 (UKJV) And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prays,

12 (HEM) וירא במחזה והנה איש ושמו חנניה בא החדרה ושם עליו את ידו למען ישוב ויראה׃
12 (KAT) a vidí muža, menom Ananiáša, ako vchádza a vkladá naň ruky, aby sa mu vrátil zrak.“
12 (UKJV) And has seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

13 (HEM) ויען חנניה ויאמר אדני שמעתי רבים מספרים על האיש הזה כמה רעות עשה לקדושיך בירושלים׃
13 (KAT) No Ananiáš odpovedal: „Pane, od mnohých som počul o tomto mužovi, koľko zla narobil tvojim svätým v Jeruzaleme.
13 (UKJV) Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem:

14 (HEM) וגם פה רשיון יש לו מאת ראשי הכהנים לאסר את כל הקראים בשמך׃
14 (KAT) Aj tu má moc od veľkňazov poviazať všetkých, čo vzývajú tvoje meno.“
14 (UKJV) And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on your name.

15 (HEM) ויאמר אליו האדון לך כי כלי חפץ הוא לי לשאת את שמי לפני גוים ומלכים ולפני בני ישראל׃
15 (KAT) Ale Pán mu povedal: „Len choď, lebo jeho som si vyvolil za nádobu, aby zaniesol moje meno pohanom aj kráľom i synom Izraela;
15 (UKJV) But the Lord said unto him, Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

16 (HEM) כי אני אראהו כמה יש לו לסבל למען שמי׃
16 (KAT) a ja mu ukážem, koľko musí trpieť pre moje meno.“
16 (UKJV) For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

17 (HEM) וילך חנניה ויבא הביתה וישם את ידיו עליו ויאמר שאול אחי האדון ישוע הנראה אליך בדרך אשר באת בה שלחני למען תשוב ותראה ותמלא רוח הקדש׃
17 (KAT) Ananiáš teda šiel a vošiel do domu, vložil naň ruky a povedal: „Brat Šavol, poslal ma Pán Ježiš, ktorý sa ti zjavil na ceste, keď si šiel sem, aby si zasa videl a aby ťa naplnil Duch Svätý.“
17 (UKJV) "And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto you in the way as you came, has sent me, that you might receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma) "

18 (HEM) וכרגע נפלו מעל עיניו כמו קשקשים וישב פתאם לראות ויקם ויטבל׃
18 (KAT) Hneď mu spadli z očí akoby lupiny a vrátil sa mu zrak. Tu vstal a dal sa pokrstiť.
18 (UKJV) And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

19 (HEM) ויאכל לחם ויחזק וישב שאול ימים אחדים עם התלמידים אשר בדמשק׃
19 (KAT) Potom prijal pokrm a zosilnel. Niekoľko dní zostal s učeníkmi v Damasku
19 (UKJV) And when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

20 (HEM) וימהר ויקרא בבתי הכנסיות את המשיח לאמר כי הוא הוא בן האלהים׃
20 (KAT) a hneď v synagógach ohlasoval Ježiša, že je Božím Synom.
20 (UKJV) And immediately he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

21 (HEM) וישתוממו כל השמעים ויאמרו הלא זה הוא אשר האביד בירושלים את קראי השם הזה ולמען זאת בא הנה להביאם אסורים לפני ראשי הכהנים׃
21 (KAT) Všetci, čo počúvali, žasli a vraveli: „Nie je to ten, čo v Jeruzaleme prenasledoval tých, čo vzývali toto meno? A neprišiel sem na to, aby ich v putách odviedol k veľkňazom?“
21 (UKJV) "But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came here for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests? "

22 (HEM) ושאול היה הולך וחזק ויהם את היהודים ישבי דמשק בהוכיחו כי זה הוא המשיח׃
22 (KAT) Ale Šavol bol čoraz silnejší a miatol Židov, čo bývali v Damasku, lebo dokazoval, že toto je Mesiáš.
22 (UKJV) But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

23 (HEM) ויהי כי ארכו לו שם הימים ויועצו היהודים יחדו להמיתו׃
23 (KAT) Keď uplynulo viac dní, Židia sa uzniesli, že ho zabijú.
23 (UKJV) And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

24 (HEM) ויודע לשאול ארבם והמה שמרו את השערים יומם ולילה למען ימיתהו׃
24 (KAT) Ale Šavol sa o ich úkladoch dozvedel. Vo dne i v noci strážili brány, aby ho mohli zabiť.
24 (UKJV) But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

25 (HEM) ויקחו אתו התלמידים לילה ויורידהו בסל בעד החומה׃
25 (KAT) No jeho učeníci ho v noci vzali a v koši ho spustili cez hradby.
25 (UKJV) Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

26 (HEM) ויהי כבוא שאול ירושלימה ויבקש להלות אל התלמידים וייראו כלם מפניו ולא האמינו כי תלמיד הוא׃
26 (KAT) Keď prišiel do Jeruzalema, pokúšal sa spojiť s učeníkmi, ale všetci sa ho báli, lebo neverili, že je učeníkom.
26 (UKJV) And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

27 (HEM) ויקח אתו בר נבא ויביאהו אל השליחים ויספר להם את אשר ראה בדרך את האדון וכי הוא דבר אליו ואיך בדמשק השמיע בבטחון את שם ישוע׃
27 (KAT) Tu sa ho ujal Barnabáš, zaviedol ho k apoštolom a porozprával im, ako na ceste videl Pána a že s ním hovoril a ako smelo si v Damasku počínal v Ježišovom mene.
27 (UKJV) But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

28 (HEM) ויהי אתם יוצא ובא בירושלים׃
28 (KAT) A žil s nimi v Jeruzaleme a smelo si počínal v Pánovom mene.
28 (UKJV) And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

29 (HEM) ויקרא בבטחון בשם האדון ישוע וידבר ויתוכח גם עם היהודים היונים והם זממו להמיתו׃
29 (KAT) Rozprával a prel sa aj s Helenistami a oni ho chceli zabiť.
29 (UKJV) And he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

30 (HEM) וישמעו האחים ויורידו אתו לקסרין וישלחהו אל טרסוס׃
30 (KAT) Keď sa to dozvedeli bratia, zaviedli ho do Cézarey a poslali do Tarzu.
30 (UKJV) Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

31 (HEM) ויהי שלום לקהלות בכל מקמות יהודה והגליל ושמרון ותבנינה ותתהלכנה ביראת האדון ותרבינה בנחמת רוח הקדש׃
31 (KAT) A Cirkev mala pokoj po celej Judei, Galilei a Samárii; upevňovala sa, žila v bázni pred Pánom a rástla v úteche Svätého Ducha.
31 (UKJV) "Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) were multiplied. "

32 (HEM) ויהי בסבב פטרוס בכל המקמות וירד גם אל הקדושים אשר ישבו בלד׃
32 (KAT) Ako Peter navštevoval všetkých, prišiel aj k svätým, čo bývali v Lydde.
32 (UKJV) And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

33 (HEM) וימצא שם איש שמו אניס והוא שכב על משכבו זה שמנה שנים והוא נכה אברים׃
33 (KAT) Našiel tam istého človeka, menom Eneáša, ktorý bol ochrnutý a už osem rokov ležal na posteli.
33 (UKJV) And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

34 (HEM) ויאמר אליו פטרוס אניס רפאך ישוע המשיח קום הצע לך אתה ויקם פתאם׃
34 (KAT) Peter mu povedal: „Eneáš, Ježiš Kristus ťa uzdravuje. Vstaň a usteľ si.“ A on hneď vstal.
34 (UKJV) And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ makes you whole: arise, and make your bed. And he arose immediately.

35 (HEM) ויראו אותו כל ישבי לד והשרון ויפנו אל האדון׃
35 (KAT) A videli ho všetci, čo bývali v Lydde a Sárone, ktorí sa obrátili k Pánovi.
35 (UKJV) And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

36 (HEM) ותלמידה ביפו ושמה טביתא תרגומו צביה והיא מלאה מעשים טובים וצדקות אשר עשתה׃
36 (KAT) V Joppe zasa bola istá učeníčka, menom Tabita, čo v preklade znamená Dorkas. Ona vynikala dobrými skutkami a almužnami, ktoré dávala.
36 (UKJV) Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and kind acts which she did.

37 (HEM) ויהי בימים ההם ותחלה ותמת וירחצו אתה וישימוה בעליה׃
37 (KAT) No v tých dňoch ochorela a umrela. Keď ju poumývali, vystreli ju v hornej sieni.
37 (UKJV) And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

38 (HEM) ולד קרובה היא ליפו וישמעו התלמידים כי פטרוס שם וישלחו אליו שני אנשים ויפצרו בו לבלתי העצל לעבר אליהם׃
38 (KAT) A pretože Lydda je blízko Joppe a učeníci sa dopočuli, že je tam Peter, poslali k nemu dvoch mužov s prosbou: „Príď bez meškania aj k nám!“
38 (UKJV) And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

39 (HEM) ויקם פטרוס וילך אתם ובבאו העלהו אל העליה ותנשנה אליו כל האלמנות בוכיות ומראות לו את הכתנת ואת הבגדים אשר עשתה צביה בעודה עמהן׃
39 (KAT) Peter vstal a šiel s nimi. Keď ta prišiel, zaviedli ho do hornej siene. Obstúpili ho s plačom všetky vdovy a ukazovali mu sukne a šaty, čo im urobila Dorkas, kým bola medzi nimi.
39 (UKJV) Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

40 (HEM) ויוצא פטרוס את כלם החוצה ויכרע על ברכיו ויתפלל ויפן אל גויתה ויאמר טביתא קומי ותפתח את עיניה ותרא את פטרוס ותתעודד׃
40 (KAT) Peter poslal všetkých von, kľakol si a pomodlil sa. Potom obrátený k mŕtvole povedal: „Tabita, vstaň!“ Ona otvorila oči, a keď videla Petra, posadila sa.
40 (UKJV) "But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. "

41 (HEM) וישלח ידו ויקם אתה ויקרא את הקדושים ואת האלמנות ויעמד אתה חיה לפניהם׃
41 (KAT) On jej podal ruku a zodvihol ju. Potom zavolal svätých a vdovy a predstavil im ju živú.
41 (UKJV) And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

42 (HEM) ויודע הדבר בכל יפו ויאמינו רבים באדון׃
42 (KAT) Roznieslo sa to po celom Joppe a mnohí uverili v Pána.
42 (UKJV) "And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord. "

43 (HEM) ויואל לשבת ביפו ימים רבים עם בורסי אחד ושמו שמעון׃
43 (KAT) Potom zostal ešte veľa dní v Joppe u istého garbiara Šimona.
43 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
