1 (HEM) ויהי כאשר נפרדנו מהם ונרד באניה ונבוא דרך ישרה אל קוס וממחרת אל רודוס ומשם אל פטרה׃
1 (KAT) Keď sme sa od nich odtrhli, a vyplávali, priamym smerom sme prišli na Kós, druhý deň na Rodos a stadiaľ do Patary.
1 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that after we were got from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:

2 (HEM) שם מצאנו אניה עברת אל פינוקיא ונרד בה ונעבר׃
2 (KAT) Tam sme našli loď, ktorá sa plavila do Fenície. Nasadli sme a vyplávali.
2 (UKJV) And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.

3 (HEM) ונרא את פני קפרוס ונעזבנה לשמאל ונעבר אל סוריא ונגיע אל צור כי שמה יוציאו את מעמסת האניה׃
3 (KAT) Na dohľad sme sa priblížili k Cypru, ale nechali sme ho vľavo. A plavili sme sa do Sýrie a došli sme do Týru, lebo tam mala loď vyložiť náklad.
3 (UKJV) Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unload her burden.

4 (HEM) ונמצא את התלמידים ונשב שם שבעת ימים והם אמרו אל פולוס על פי הרוח לבלתי עלות ירושלים׃
4 (KAT) My sme vyhľadali učeníkov a zostali sme tam sedem dní. Oni z vnuknutia Ducha hovorili Pavlovi, aby nechodil do Jeruzalema.
4 (UKJV) And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, (o. pneuma) that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

5 (HEM) ויהי אחרי מלאת לנו הימים האלה ונצא ללכת לדרכנו וילוו אתנו כלם עם נשיהם ועם טפם עד מחוץ לעיר ונכרע על ברכינו על חוף הים ונתפלל׃
5 (KAT) Keď tie dni uplynuli vybrali sme sa na cestu. Všetci aj s manželkami a deťmi nás odprevadili až za mesto. Na brehu sme si kľakli a pomodlili sme sa.
5 (UKJV) "And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed. "

6 (HEM) ונברך איש את רעהו ונעל אל האניה והמה שבו איש לביתו׃
6 (KAT) Potom sme sa rozlúčili, nastúpili sme na loď a oni sa vrátili domov.
6 (UKJV) "And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again. "

7 (HEM) ואנחנו כלינו את דרך הים ונרד מצור אל עכו ונשאל לשלום האחים ונשב אתם יום אחד׃
7 (KAT) My sme z Týru po skončení plavby prišli do Ptolemaidy. Pozdravili sme bratov a zostali sme jeden deň u nich.
7 (UKJV) And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.

8 (HEM) וממחרת נסענו פולוס ואשר אתו ונבא אל קסרין ונלך אל בית פילפוס המבשר אשר הוא אחד מן השבעה ונשב עמו׃
8 (KAT) Na druhý deň sme odcestovali a došli sme do Cézarey. Tam sme vošli do domu evanjelistu Filipa - on bol jeden zo siedmich - a ostali sme uňho.
8 (UKJV) "And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. "

9 (HEM) ולו היו ארבע בנות בתולות מתנבאות׃
9 (KAT) Mal štyri dcéry panny, ktoré prorokovali.
9 (UKJV) And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

10 (HEM) ויהי בהיותנו שם ימים רבים וירד נביא אחד מיהודה ושמו אגבוס׃
10 (KAT) A keď sme tam boli viac dní, prišiel z Judey istý prorok, menom Agabus.
10 (UKJV) And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

11 (HEM) ויבא אצלנו ויקח את אזור פולוס ויאסר בו את ידיו ואת רגליו ויאמר כה אמר רוח הקדש ככה יאסרו היהודים בירושלים את האיש אשר לו האזור הזה ויסגירהו בידי הגוים׃
11 (KAT) Keď prišiel k nám, vzal Pavlov opasok, zviazal si ruky a nohy a povedal: „Toto hovorí Duch Svätý: »Muža, ktorému patrí tento opasok, takto Židia v Jeruzaleme zviažu a vydajú ho do rúk pohanov.«“
11 (UKJV) And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus says the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owns this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

12 (HEM) ויהי כאשר שמענו את זאת ונבקש ממנו אנחנו ואנשי המקום אשר לא יעלה ירושלים׃
12 (KAT) Keď sme to počuli, prosili sme aj my, aj tamojší, aby nechodil do Jeruzalema.
12 (UKJV) And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.

13 (HEM) ויען פולוס ויאמר מה לכם אשר תבכו ותשברו לבבי כי נכון אנכי לא לבד להאסר כי גם למות בירושלים על שם ישוע האדון׃
13 (KAT) Ale Pavol odpovedal: „Čo robíte? Prečo plačete a trápite mi srdce? Veď ja som hotový nielen dať sa zviazať, ale aj umrieť v Jeruzaleme pre meno Pána Ježiša.“
13 (UKJV) Then Paul answered, What mean all of you to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

14 (HEM) ולא אבה שמע ונרף ממנו לאמר רצון יהוה יעשה׃
14 (KAT) A keď sme ho nemohli prehovoriť, prestali sme; povedali sme: „Nech sa stane Pánova vôľa!“
14 (UKJV) And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

15 (HEM) ואחרי הימים האלה נשאנו את כלינו ונעל ירושלים׃
15 (KAT) Po týchto dňoch sme sa pripravili a vystupovali sme do Jeruzalema.
15 (UKJV) And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.

16 (HEM) וילכו אתנו גם תלמידים מקסרין ויביאו אתנו ללון בבית איש כתי ושמו מנסון והוא תלמיד ישן׃
16 (KAT) S nami šli aj niektorí učeníci z Cézarey a viedli so sebou istého Cyperčana Mnazona, dávneho učeníka, u ktorého sme mali bývať.
16 (UKJV) There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

17 (HEM) ויהי כבאנו ירושלים ויקבלו אתנו האחים בשמחה׃
17 (KAT) Keď sme prišli do Jeruzalema, bratia nás milo prijali.
17 (UKJV) And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.

18 (HEM) וממחרת היום נכנס פולוס עמנו אל יעקב ויבאו שמה כל הזקנים׃
18 (KAT) Na druhý deň šiel Pavol s nami k Jakubovi, kde sa zišli všetci starší.
18 (UKJV) "And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present. "

19 (HEM) וישאלם לשלום ויספר אחת לאחת את אשר עשה האלהים לגוים בשרותו׃
19 (KAT) Pozdravil ich a dopodrobna vyrozprával, čo urobil Boh prostredníctvom jeho služby medzi pohanmi.
19 (UKJV) And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.

20 (HEM) וישמעו ויהללו את האלהים ויאמרו אליו הנך ראה אחינו כמה רבבות יהודים באו להאמין וכלם מקנאים לתורה׃
20 (KAT) Keď to počuli, oslavovali Boha a jemu povedali: „Vidíš, brat, koľko tisíc Židov uverilo a všetci horlia za zákon.
20 (UKJV) "And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: "

21 (HEM) והם שמעו עליך שמועה כי תלמד את כל היהודים אשר בקרב הגוים לסור ממשה באמרך כי אין עליהם למול את בניהם וללכת בחקות התורה׃
21 (KAT) Ale o tebe sa dopočuli, že učíš všetkých Židov, čo sú medzi pohanmi, aby odpadli od Mojžiša, a hovoríš, že nemajú obrezávať svojich synov ani žiť podľa zvykov.
21 (UKJV) And they are informed of you, that you teach all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

22 (HEM) ועתה מה לעשות הנה האסף יאסף המון העם כי ישמעו כי באת׃
22 (KAT) Čo teda robiť? Isto sa dozvedia, že si prišiel.
22 (UKJV) What is it therefore? the multitude must essentially come together: for they will hear that you are come.

23 (HEM) לכן עשה זאת אפוא אשר נאמר אליך׃
23 (KAT) Urob teda toto, čo ti hovoríme: Máme štyroch mužov, ktorí majú sľub.
23 (UKJV) "Do therefore this that we say to you: We have four men which have a vow on them; "

24 (HEM) הנה יש אתנו ארבעה אנשים אשר נדר עליהם אתם קח לך והטהר אתם ושלם ההוצאות בעדם למען אשר יגלחו את ראשם וידעו כלם כי שמועת שוא שמעו עליך וכי אתה בעצמך מתהלך בחקות התורה׃
24 (KAT) Vezmi ich, posväť sa s nimi a zaplať za nich, aby si dali oholiť hlavu. Tak zvedia všetci, že nie je nič na tom, čo o tebe počuli, ale že aj sám zachovávaš zákon a žiješ podľa neho.
24 (UKJV) "Them take, and purify yourself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning you, are nothing; but that you yourself also walk orderly, and keep the law. "

25 (HEM) ועל דבר המאמינים בגוים כתבנו וגזרנו אשר לא ישמרו דבר מאלה רק להשמר מזבחי אלילים ומן הדם ומבשר הנחנק ומן הזנות׃
25 (KAT) A o pohanoch, čo uverili, sme rozhodli a napísali, aby sa zdŕžali mäsa obetovaného modlám, krvi, zaduseného a smilstva.“
25 (UKJV) As concerning the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

26 (HEM) ויקח פולוס את האנשים ויטהר אתם וממחרת בא אל המקדש ויגד כי מלאו ימי טהרתם עד כי הקרב קרבן כל אחד מהם׃
26 (KAT) A tak Pavol vzal tých mužov, na druhý deň sa s nimi očistil, vošiel do chrámu a ohlásil, že sa končia dni očisťovania, len čo sa prinesie za každého z nich obeta.
26 (UKJV) Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

27 (HEM) ויהי כאשר קרבו שבעת הימים לכלות והיהודים אשר מאסיא ראו אתו במקדש ויעוררו את כל ההמון וישלחו בו את ידיהם׃
27 (KAT) Keď sa tých sedem dní už končilo, zbadali ho v chráme Židia z Ázie. Pobúrili celý zástup, položili naň ruky
27 (UKJV) And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,

28 (HEM) ויצעקו לאמר אנשי ישראל עזרו זה הוא האיש המלמד את כל אדם אשר בכל הארץ סרה על העם הזה ועל התורה ועל המקום הזה וגם הביא אל המקדש אנשים יונים ויחלל את המקום הקדוש הזה׃
28 (KAT) a kričali: „Mužovia, Izraeliti, pomáhajte! Toto je ten človek, čo všetkých všade učí proti ľudu, proti zákonu a proti tomuto miestu. Ba ešte aj Grékov voviedol do chrámu a poškvrnil toto sväté miesto.“
28 (UKJV) Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teaches all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and has polluted this holy place.

29 (HEM) כי היו ראים את טרופימוס האפסי בעיר אתו ויחשבו כי פולוס הביא אתו אל המקדש׃
29 (KAT) V meste s ním totiž videli Efezana Trofima a mysleli si, že Pavol ho voviedol do chrámu.
29 (UKJV) (For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)

30 (HEM) ותהם כל העיר וירץ העם ויקבץ ויאחזו את פולוס וימשכהו אל מחוץ למקדש ופתאם סגרו הדלתות׃
30 (KAT) Celé mesto sa rozbúrilo a začal sa zbiehať ľud. Chytili Pavla, vyvliekli ho z chrámu a hneď zatvorili brány.
30 (UKJV) And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.

31 (HEM) והמה מבקשים להמיתו והשמועה באה אל שר האלף של הגדוד כי כל ירושלים נבוכה׃
31 (KAT) Už ho chceli zabiť, keď došlo veliteľovi kohorty hlásenie, že sa celý Jeruzalem búri.
31 (UKJV) And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.

32 (HEM) וימהר ויקח אתו אנשי צבא ושרי מאות וירץ אליהם ויהי כראותם את שר האלף ואת אנשי הצבא ויחדלו מהכות את פולוס׃
32 (KAT) On si hneď vzal vojakov a stotníkov a zbehol k nim. Keď uvideli veliteľa a vojakov, prestali Pavla biť.
32 (UKJV) Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.

33 (HEM) ויגש שר האלף ויחזק בו ויצו לאסרו בנחשתים וישאל מי הוא זה ומה עשה׃
33 (KAT) Tu veliteľ pristúpil k nemu, vzal ho a rozkázal ho spútať dvoma reťazami. Potom sa opýtal, kto je to a čo vykonal.
33 (UKJV) "Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done. "

34 (HEM) ויענו מן העם אלה בכה ואלה בכה ולא יכל לדעת מאומה אל נכון מרב השאון ויצו להוליכו אל המצד׃
34 (KAT) Ale v dave každý vykrikoval niečo iné. A keď sa v tom zmätku nemohol dozvedieť nič isté, rozkázal ho odviesť do pevnosti.
34 (UKJV) And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle.

35 (HEM) ויהי כבואו עד המעלות וישאהו אנשי הצבא מפני חמת העם׃
35 (KAT) Keď prišiel ku schodom, museli ho pre násilie davu vojaci niesť,
35 (UKJV) And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people.

36 (HEM) כי עם רב הלך אחריו והם צעקים ואמרים הסר אתו׃
36 (KAT) lebo celé množstvo ľudu šlo za ním a kričali: „Preč s ním!“
36 (UKJV) For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.

37 (HEM) וכאשר הקריב פולוס להאסף אל המצד אמר אל שר האלף התניח לי לדבר אליך דבר ויאמר הידעת יונית׃
37 (KAT) Keď ho už mali voviesť do pevnosti, povedal Pavol veliteľovi: „Smiem ti niečo povedať?“ On vravel: „Ty vieš po grécky?
37 (UKJV) And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto you? Who said, Can you speak Greek?

38 (HEM) האם אינך המצרי אשר לפני הימים האלה העיר מרד והוציא המדברה ארבעת אלפים אנשי דמים׃
38 (KAT) Nie si ty ten Egypťan, čo nedávno vyvolal vzburu a vyviedol na púšť štyritisíc zbojníkov?“
38 (UKJV) Are not you that Egyptian, which before these days made an uproar, and led out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

39 (HEM) ויאמר פולוס איש יהודי אנכי מטרסוס בן עיר קיליקיא אשר איננה בלי שם ועתה אשאלה מאתך הניחה לי לדבר אל העם׃
39 (KAT) Pavol povedal: „Ja som Žid z cilícijského Tarzu, občan nie neznámeho mesta. Prosím ťa, dovoľ mi prehovoriť k ľudu.“
39 (UKJV) But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I plead to you, suffer me to speak unto the people.

40 (HEM) וינח לו ויעמד פולוס על המעלות הניף ידו אל העם ותהי דממה רבה וידבר בלשון עברית ויאמר׃
40 (KAT) On mu dovolil a Pavol, ako stál na schodoch, pokynul ľudu rukou. Keď nastalo úplné ticho, prehovoril k nim po hebrejsky:
40 (UKJV) And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spoke unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,
