Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word (o. logos) of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
Mk 16:20 - And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word (o. logos) with signs following. Amen.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Sk 14,23 - Ide o ustanovenie miestnej hierarchie. "Starší" (gr. presbýteroi) tu znamenajú predstavených cirkevných obcí.
Sk 14,25 - Atália je prístavné mesto, ktoré vybudoval Attalius II., kráľ Pergama.
