1 (HEM) בעת ההיא שלח המלך הורדוס את ידו להרע לאנשים מן הקהל׃
1 (KAT) V tom čase kráľ Herodes položil ruky na niektorých príslušníkov Cirkvi a mučil ich.
1 (UKJV) Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.

2 (HEM) וימת את יעקב אחי יוחנן בחרב׃
2 (KAT) Jánovho brata Jakuba zabil mečom.
2 (UKJV) And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

3 (HEM) וירא כי טוב הדבר בעיני היהודים ויוסף לתפש גם את פטרוס והימים ימי חג המצות׃
3 (KAT) A keď videl, že sa to Židom páči, rozkázal chytiť aj Petra. Boli práve dni Nekvasených chlebov.
3 (UKJV) And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

4 (HEM) ויאחז אתו ויתנהו במשמר וימסרהו לארבע מחלקות של ארבעה אנשי צבא לשמרו כי אמר להעלותו אחרי הפסח לפני העם׃
4 (KAT) Keď sa ho zmocnil, uvrhol ho do väzenia a dal ho strážiť štyrom strážam po štyroch vojakoch: po Veľkej noci ho chcel predviesť ľudu.
4 (UKJV) "And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. "

5 (HEM) פטרוס היה עצור במשמר והקהלה העתירה בעדו בחזקה אל האלהים׃
5 (KAT) Petra teda strážili vo väzení. Ale Cirkev sa bez prestania modlila k Bohu za neho.
5 (UKJV) Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

6 (HEM) ויהי בלילה ההוא אשר אמר הורדוס להביאו מחר לדין ויישן פטרוס בין שני אנשי צבא והוא אסור בשנים זקים ושמרי הפתח שמרים את המשמר׃
6 (KAT) V poslednú noc, ako ho mal Herodes predviesť, Peter spal medzi dvoma vojakmi spútaný dvoma reťazami a strážnici predo dvermi strážili väzenie.
6 (UKJV) And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

7 (HEM) והנה מלאך יהוה נצב עליו ואור נגה בחדר ויספק על ירך פטרוס ויעירהו לאמר קום מהרה ויפלו מוסרותיו מעל ידיו׃
7 (KAT) Tu zastal pri ňom Pánov anjel a v miestnosti zažiarilo svetlo. Udrel Petra do boku, zobudil ho a povedal: „Vstaň rýchlo!“ A reťaze mu spadli z rúk.
7 (UKJV) And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he stroke Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

8 (HEM) ויאמר אליו המלאך חגר מתניך והנעל את רגליך ויעש כן ויאמר אליו עטה מעילך ולך אחרי׃
8 (KAT) Anjel mu povedal: „Opáš sa a obuj si sandále!“ Keď to urobil, povedal mu: „Prehoď si plášť a poď za mnou!“
8 (UKJV) And the angel said unto him, Gird yourself, and bind on your sandals. And so he did. And he says unto him, Cast your garment about you, and follow me.

9 (HEM) ויצא וילך אחריו ולא ידע אם אמת הוא הנעשה לו על ידי המלאך כי כמראה היה בעיניו׃
9 (KAT) Vyšiel von a šiel za ním; ani nevedel, že je to skutočnosť, čo sa dialo skrze anjela. Myslel si, že má videnie.
9 (UKJV) "And he went out, and followed him; and know not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. "

10 (HEM) ויעברו דרך המשמרת הראשונה והשניה ויבאו עד שער הברזל אשר יצאו בו העירה ויפתח השער לפניהם מאליו ויצאו החוצה וילכו מהלך רחוב אחד והמלאך סר מעליו פתאם׃
10 (KAT) Prešli cez prvú i druhú stráž a došli k železnej bráne, čo vedie do mesta. Tá sa im sama otvorila. Vyšli ňou, a keď prešli jednou ulicou, anjel mu zmizol.
10 (UKJV) "When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leads unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. "

11 (HEM) ויהי בשובו אל דעתו ויאמר פטרוס עתה זה ידעתי באמת כי האלהים שלח את מלאכו ויפלטני מיד הורדוס ומכל מזמת עם היהודים׃
11 (KAT) Tu Peter prišiel k sebe a povedal si: „Teraz naozaj viem, že Pán poslal svojho anjela a vyslobodil ma z Herodesovej ruky a zo všetkého, čo očakával židovský ľud.“
11 (UKJV) And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know certainly, that the LORD has sent his angel, and has delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

12 (HEM) הוא חשב כזאת והוא בא עד בית מרים אם יוחנן המכנה מרקוס אשר נקהלו שם רבים והם מתפללים יחד׃
12 (KAT) Ako o tom uvažoval, došiel k domu Márie, matky Jána, ktorý sa volá Marek, kde boli mnohí zhromaždení a modlili sa.
12 (UKJV) "And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying. "

13 (HEM) וידפק על דלת השער ותגש נערה להקשיב ושמה רודי׃
13 (KAT) Keď zabúchal na dvere pri bráne, vyšla dievčina, menom Rodé, a načúvala.
13 (UKJV) And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

14 (HEM) ותכר את קול פטרוס ומשמחתה לא פתחה לו אם דלת השער ותרץ הביתה ותגד להם כי פטרוס עמד על השער׃
14 (KAT) Keď spoznala Petrov hlas, od radosti ani neotvorila bránu, ale vbehla dnu a oznamovala, že pri bráne stojí Peter.
14 (UKJV) And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

15 (HEM) ויאמרו אליה משגעת את והיא מתאמצת כי כן הוא ויאמרו מלאכו הוא׃
15 (KAT) Oni jej povedali: „Šalieš!“ Ona však tvrdila, že je to tak. No oni vraveli: „To je jeho anjel.“
15 (UKJV) And they said unto her, You are mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.

16 (HEM) ופטרוס הרבה לדפק ויפתחו ויראהו וישתוממו׃
16 (KAT) Ale Peter neprestával búchať. A keď otvorili a uvideli ho, žasli.
16 (UKJV) But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.

17 (HEM) והוא רמז להם בידו לחשות ויספר להם את אשר הוציאו האדון מן המשמר ויאמר הגידו את זאת ליעקב ולאחים ויצא וילך לו למקום אחר׃
17 (KAT) Pokynul im rukou, aby boli ticho, a vyrozprával, ako ho Pán vyviedol z väzenia, a povedal: „Oznámte to Jakubovi a bratom.“ Potom vyšiel von a odišiel na iné miesto.
17 (UKJV) But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go show these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.

18 (HEM) הבקר אור ומבוכה לא קטנה היתה בין אנשי הצבא על פטרוס מה היה לו׃
18 (KAT) Keď sa rozodnilo, nastal medzi vojakmi nemalý zmätok, čo sa mohlo stať s Petrom.
18 (UKJV) Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.

19 (HEM) ויהי כאשר בקש אותו הורדוס ולא מצאו חקר את השמרים ויצו להוציאם למות וירד מיהודה אל קסרין וישב שם׃
19 (KAT) Herodes ho hľadal, a keď ho nenašiel, vypočúval strážnikov a rozkázal ich odviesť. Potom odišiel z Judey do Cézarey a tam sa zdržiaval.
19 (UKJV) And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judaea to Caesarea, and there abode.

20 (HEM) ואיבה היתה בין הורדוס ובין בני צור וצידון ויבאו אליו בלב אחד ויפתו את בלסטוס אשר על חדר המלך ויבקשו שלום יען לקחו מחית ארצותם מארץ המלך׃
20 (KAT) Bol nahnevaný na Týrčanov a Sidončanov. Ale oni svorne prišli za ním, získali si kráľovho komorníka Blasta a prosili o pokoj, lebo ich kraj sa živil kráľovým obilím.
20 (UKJV) "And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country. "

21 (HEM) ויהי ביום המועד וילבש הורדוס לבוש מלכות וישב על כסא המשפט ויטף אליהם אמרתו׃
21 (KAT) V určený deň Herodes, oblečený do kráľovského rúcha, sadol si na trón a prehovoril k nim.
21 (UKJV) And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.

22 (HEM) ויריעו לו העם לאמר קול אלהים הוא ולא קול אדם׃
22 (KAT) Ľud mu privolával: „To je Boží hlas, nie ľudský!“
22 (UKJV) And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.

23 (HEM) ויכהו מלאך יהוה פתאם עקב אשר לא נתן הכבוד לאלהים ויאכלהו תולעים ויגוע׃
23 (KAT) Ale vtom ho zasiahol Pánov anjel, lebo nevzdal Bohu slávu, a skonal rozožratý červami.
23 (UKJV) And immediately the angel of the Lord stroke him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the spirit.

24 (HEM) ודבר אלהים הולך ורב׃
24 (KAT) A Božie slovo sa šírilo a rozmáhalo.
24 (UKJV) But the word (o. logos) of God grew and multiplied.

25 (HEM) וישובו בר נבא ושאול מירושלים אחרי כלותם את השמוש ויקחו אתם את יוחנן המכנה מרקוס׃
25 (KAT) Keď Barnabáš a Šavol splnili v Jeruzaleme svoju úlohu, vrátili sa a vzali so sebou Jána, ktorý sa volá Marek.
25 (UKJV) And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.
