Jn 1, 1-52

1 (UKJV) In the beginning was the Word, (o. logos) and the Word (o. logos) was with God, and the Word (o. logos) was God.
1 (ROH) Na počiatku bolo Slovo a to Slovo bolo u Boha a to Slovo bol Bôh.
1 (RIV) Nel principio era la Parola, e la Parola era con Dio, e la Parola era Dio.

2 (UKJV) The same was in the beginning with God.
2 (ROH) Ten, to Slovo bolo na počiatku u Boha.
2 (RIV) Essa era nel principio con Dio.

3 (UKJV) "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. "
3 (ROH) Všetko povstalo skrze neho, a bez neho nepovstalo ani jedno z toho, čo povstalo.
3 (RIV) Ogni cosa è stata fatta per mezzo di lei; e senza di lei neppure una delle cose fatte è stata fatta.

4 (UKJV) "In him was life; and the life was the light of men. "
4 (ROH) V ňom bol život, a ten život bol svetlom ľudí,
4 (RIV) In lei era la vita; e la vita era la luce degli uomini;

5 (UKJV) "And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. "
5 (ROH) a to svetlo svieti vo tme, a tma ho nezadržala.
5 (RIV) e la luce splende nelle tenebre, e le tenebre non l’hanno ricevuta.

6 (UKJV) There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
6 (ROH) Bol človek, poslaný od Boha, ktorému bolo meno Ján.
6 (RIV) Vi fu un uomo mandato da Dio, il cui nome era Giovanni.

7 (UKJV) The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
7 (ROH) Ten prišiel na svedoctvo, aby svedčil o tom svetle, aby všetci uverili skrze neho.

8 (UKJV) He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

11 (UKJV) He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 (UKJV) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
12 (ROH) Ale všetkým, ktorí ho prijali, dal právo a moc stať sa deťmi Božími, tým, ktorí veria v jeho meno;

13 (UKJV) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

13 (RIV) i quali non son nati da sangue, né da volontà di carne, né da volontà d’uomo, ma son nati da Dio.

14 (UKJV) And the Word (o. logos) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
14 (ROH) A on, to Slovo sa stalo telom a stánilo medzi nami, a hľadeli sme na jeho slávu, na slávu jako jednorodeného od Otca a bol plný milosti a pravdy.
14 (RIV) E la Parola è stata fatta carne ed ha abitato per un tempo fra noi, piena di grazia e di verità; e noi abbiam contemplata la sua gloria, gloria come quella dell’Unigenito venuto da presso al Padre.

15 (UKJV) John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
15 (ROH) Ján svedčil o ňom a volal: Toto je ten, o ktorom som povedal: Ten, ktorý prichádza po mne, predišiel ma, pretože bol prvší než ja.
15 (RIV) Giovanni gli ha resa testimonianza ed ha esclamato, dicendo: Era di questo che io dicevo: Colui che vien dietro a me mi ha preceduto, perché era prima di me.

16 (UKJV) And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.
16 (ROH) A z jeho plnosti sme my všetci vzali, a to milosť za milosť.
16 (RIV) Infatti, è della sua pienezza che noi tutti abbiamo ricevuto, e grazia sopra grazia.

17 (UKJV) For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
17 (ROH) Lebo zákon je daný skrze Mojžiša; milosť a pravda stala sa skrze Ježiša Krista.
17 (RIV) Poiché la legge è stata data per mezzo di Mosè; la grazia e la verità son venute per mezzo di Gesù Cristo.

18 (UKJV) No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

19 (UKJV) And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who are you?

22 (UKJV) Then said they unto him, Who are you? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What say you of yourself?
22 (ROH) Vtedy mu povedali: A kto si tedy? Aby sme dali odpoveď tým, ktorí nás poslali. Čo hovoríš o sebe?
22 (RIV) Essi dunque gli dissero: Chi sei? affinché diamo una risposta a coloro che ci hanno mandato. Che dici tu di te stesso?

23 (UKJV) He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah.
23 (ROH) Riekol: Ja som hlas volajúceho na púšti: Urovnajte cestu Pánovu! jako povedal prorok Izaiáš.
23 (RIV) Egli disse: Io son la voce d’uno che grida nel deserto: Addirizzate la via del Signore, come ha detto il profeta Isaia.

24 (UKJV) And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.
24 (ROH) A poslaní boli z farizeov.
24 (RIV) Or quelli ch’erano stati mandati a lui erano de’ Farisei:

25 (UKJV) And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptize you then, if you be not that Christ, nor Elijah, neither that prophet?
25 (ROH) A tak sa ho opýtali a riekli mu: A čo tedy krstíš, ak si ty nie Kristus, ani Eliáš ani ten prorok?
25 (RIV) e gli domandarono: Perché dunque battezzi se tu non sei il Cristo, né Elia, né il profeta?

26 (UKJV) "John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there stands one among you, whom all of you know not; "
26 (ROH) A Ján im odpovedal a riekol: Ja krstím vodou, ale medzi vami stojí ten, ktorého vy neznáte;
26 (RIV) Giovanni rispose loro, dicendo: Io battezzo con acqua; nel mezzo di voi è presente uno che voi non conoscete,

27 (UKJV) He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
27 (ROH) to je ten, ktorý prichádza po mne a predišiel ma, ktorému som ja nie hoden rozviazať remienok na jeho obuvi.
27 (RIV) colui che viene dietro a me, al quale io non son degno di sciogliere il legaccio de’ calzari.

28 (UKJV) These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
28 (ROH) To sa stalo v Betabáre za Jordánom, kde Ján krstil.
28 (RIV) Queste cose avvennero in Betania al di là del Giordano, dove Giovanni stava battezzando.

29 (UKJV) The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and says, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.

30 (UKJV) This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
30 (ROH) Toto je ten, o ktorom som ja povedal: Za mnou ide muž, ktorý bol predo mnou, pretože bol prvší ako ja.
30 (RIV) Questi è colui del quale dicevo: Dietro a me viene un uomo che mi ha preceduto, perché egli era prima di me.

31 (UKJV) And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
31 (ROH) A ja som ho neznal, ale aby bol zjavený Izraelovi, preto som ja prišiel krstiac vodou.
31 (RIV) E io non lo conoscevo; ma appunto perché egli sia manifestato ad Israele, son io venuto a battezzar con acqua.

32 (UKJV) And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit (o. pneuma) descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
32 (ROH) A Ján svedčil a hovoril: Videl som Ducha, sostupujúceho s neba jako čo by holubicu, a zostal na ňom.
32 (RIV) E Giovanni rese la sua testimonianza, dicendo: Ho veduto lo Spirito scendere dal cielo a guisa di colomba, e fermarsi su di lui.

33 (UKJV) And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit (o. pneuma) descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
33 (ROH) A ja som ho neznal, ale ten, ktorý ma poslal krstiť vodou, ten mi povedal: Na koho uvidíš sostupovať Ducha, a že zostáva na ňom, to je ten, ktorý krstí Svätým Duchom.
33 (RIV) E io non lo conoscevo; ma Colui che mi ha mandato a battezzare con acqua, mi ha detto: Colui sul quale vedrai lo Spirito scendere e fermarsi, è quel che battezza con lo Spirito Santo.

34 (UKJV) And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
34 (ROH) A ja som videl a svedčil, že to je ten Syn Boží.
34 (RIV) E io ho veduto e ho attestato che questi è il Figliuol di Dio.

35 (UKJV) "Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; "
35 (ROH) Nasledujúceho dňa zase stál Ján i z jeho učeníkov dvaja
35 (RIV) Il giorno seguente, Giovanni era di nuovo là con due de’ suoi discepoli;

36 (UKJV) And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he says, Behold the Lamb of God!
36 (ROH) a pozrúc na Ježiša, ktorý išiel pomimo, riekol: Hľa, Baránok Boží!
36 (RIV) e avendo fissato lo sguardo su Gesù che stava passando, disse: Ecco l’Agnello di Dio!

37 (UKJV) And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
37 (ROH) A počuli ho to hovoriť tí dvaja učeníci a išli za Ježišom.
37 (RIV) E i suoi due discepoli, avendolo udito parlare, seguirono Gesù.

38 (UKJV) Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and says unto them, What seek all of you? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwell you?
38 (ROH) A Ježiš obrátiac sa a vidiac ich, že idú za ním, povedal im:
38 (RIV) E Gesù, voltatosi, e osservando che lo seguivano, domandò loro: Che cercate? Ed essi gli dissero: Rabbì (che, interpretato, vuol dire: Maestro), ove dimori?

39 (UKJV) He says unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
39 (ROH) Čo hľadáte? A oni mu povedali: Rabbi (čo znamená preložené: Učiteľu), kde bývaš?
39 (RIV) Egli rispose loro: Venite e vedrete. Essi dunque andarono, e videro ove dimorava, e stettero con lui quel giorno. Era circa la decima ora.

40 (UKJV) One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
40 (ROH) A on im povedal: Poďte a vidzte! A tak prišli a videli, kde býva, a zostali u neho ten deň; a bolo asi desať hodín.
40 (RIV) Andrea, il fratello di Simon Pietro, era uno dei due che aveano udito Giovanni ed avean seguito Gesù.

41 (UKJV) He first finds his own brother Simon, and says unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

42 (UKJV) And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, You are Simon the son of Jona: you shall be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
42 (ROH) Ten najprv našiel svojho vlastného brata, Šimona, a povedal mu: Našli sme Mesiáša (čo je preložené: Kristus čiže Pomazaný).

43 (UKJV) The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and finds Philip, and says unto him, Follow me.

44 (UKJV) Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
44 (ROH) Zase nasledujúceho dňa chcel Ježiš vyjsť do Galilee a našiel Filipa a povedal mu: Poď za mnou!
44 (RIV) Or Filippo era di Betsaida, della città d’Andrea e di Pietro.

45 (UKJV) Philip finds Nathanael, and says unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
45 (ROH) A Filip bol z Betsaidy, z mesta Andrejovho a Petrovho.
45 (RIV) Filippo trovò Natanaele, e gli disse: Abbiam trovato colui del quale hanno scritto Mosè nella legge, ed i profeti: Gesù figliuolo di Giuseppe, da Nazaret.

46 (UKJV) And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip says unto him, Come and see.
46 (ROH) A Filip našiel Natanaela a povedal mu: Našli sme toho, o ktorom písal Mojžiš v zákone a proroci, Ježiša, syna Jozefovho, z Nazareta.
46 (RIV) E Natanaele gli disse: Può forse venir qualcosa di buono da Nazaret? Filippo gli rispose: Vieni a vedere.

47 (UKJV) Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and says of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
47 (ROH) A Natanael mu povedal: Či z Nazareta môže byť niečo dobrého? Filip mu povedal: Poď a vidz!
47 (RIV) Gesù vide Natanaele che gli veniva incontro, e disse di lui: Ecco un vero israelita in cui non c’è frode.

48 (UKJV) Nathanael says unto him, Whence know you me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.
48 (ROH) Potom videl Ježiš Natanaela ísť k sebe a povedal o ňom: Hľa opravdivý Izraelita, v ktorom nieto lesti.
48 (RIV) Natanaele gli chiese: Da che mi conosci? Gesù gli rispose: Prima che Filippo ti chiamasse, quand’eri sotto il fico, io t’ho veduto.

49 (UKJV) "Nathanael answered and says unto him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel. "
49 (ROH) Natanael mu povedal: Odkiaľ ma znáš? Ježiš odpovedal a riekol mu: Prv ako ťa zavolal Filip, keď si bol pod tým fíkom, videl som ťa.
49 (RIV) Natanaele gli rispose: Maestro, tu sei il Figliuol di Dio, tu sei il Re d’Israele.

50 (UKJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto you, I saw you under the fig tree, believe you? you shall see greater things than these.
50 (ROH) Natanael odpovedal a riekol mu: Rabbi, ty si ten Syn Boží! Ty si ten kráľ Izraelov!
50 (RIV) Gesù rispose e gli disse: Perché t’ho detto che t’avevo visto sotto il fico, tu credi? Tu vedrai cose maggiori di queste.

51 (UKJV) And he says unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter all of you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
51 (ROH) A Ježiš odpovedal a riekol mu: Preto, že som ti povedal: Videl som ťa pod tým fíkom, veríš? Väčšie veci ako to uvidíš.
51 (RIV) Poi gli disse: In verità, in verità vi dico che vedrete il cielo aperto e gli angeli di Dio salire e scendere sopra il Figliuol dell’uomo.

52 (ROH) A ďalej mu povedal: Ameň, ameň vám hovorím, že odteraz uvidíte nebo otvorené a anjelov Božích vystupovať a sostupovať na Syna človeka.

In the beginning was the Word, (o. logos) and the Word (o. logos) was with God, and the Word (o. logos) was God.

Prís 8:22 - The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

1Jn 1:1 - "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word (o. logos) of life; "

1Jn 1:2 - "(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) "

The same was in the beginning with God.

Jn 17:5 - And now, O Father, glorify you me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.

Jn 5:26 - "For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself; "

1Jn 5:11 - And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Jn 8:12 - Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Jn 9:5 - As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Jn 12:46 - I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness.

"And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. "

Jn 3:19 - And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

Jn 1:33 - And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit (o. pneuma) descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

Mk 1:4 - John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Lk 7:27 - This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.

Jn 8:12 - Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Jn 9:5 - As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Jn 12:46 - I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Heb 1:2 - "Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; "

Heb 11:3 - Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word (o. rhema) of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Iz 56:5 - Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

Rim 8:15 - "For all of you have not received the spirit (o. pneuma) of bondage again to fear; but all of you have received the Spirit (o. pneuma) of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. "

Gal 3:26 - For all of you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

2Pt 1:4 - Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these all of you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

1Jn 3:1 - Behold, what manner of love (o. agape) the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

And the Word (o. logos) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Iz 7:14 - "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. "

Mt 1:16 - And Jacob brings forth Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Lk 1:31 - And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS.

Lk 2:7 - "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a crib; because there was no room for them in the inn. "
