Biblia - Sväté písmo

(UKJV - Anglický - Updated King James)

Lk 9, 1-62

1 (UKJV) Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
1 (KAT) Zvolal Dvanástich a dal im silu i moc nad všetkými zlými duchmi a liečiť neduhy.

2 (UKJV) And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
2 (KAT) Potom ich poslal hlásať Božie kráľovstvo a uzdravovať chorých.

3 (UKJV) "And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor pouch, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. "
3 (KAT) A povedal im: „Na cestu si neberte nič: ani palicu, ani kapsu, ani chlieb, ani peniaze, ani dvoje šiat nemajte.

4 (UKJV) And whatsoever house all of you enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
4 (KAT) Keď vojdete do niektorého domu, ostaňte tam a odtiaľ vychádzajte.

5 (UKJV) And whosoever will not receive you, when all of you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
5 (KAT) Ale keby vás niekde neprijali, odíďte z toho mesta a straste si prach z nôh na svedectvo proti nim.“

6 (UKJV) And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.
6 (KAT) Oni šli, chodili po dedinách, všade hlásali evanjelium a uzdravovali.

7 (UKJV) "Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead; "

8 (UKJV) "And of some, that Elijah had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again. "
8 (KAT) iní: „Zjavil sa Eliáš,“ zasa iní: „Vstal z mŕtvych jeden z dávnych prorokov.“

9 (UKJV) And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.
9 (KAT) A Herodes vravel: „Jána som dal ja sťať.

10 (UKJV) And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.
10 (KAT) Keď sa apoštoli vrátili, porozprávali mu všetko, čo robili. On ich vzal so sebou a len s nimi odišiel do mesta, ktoré sa volá Betsaida.

11 (UKJV) And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spoke unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.
11 (KAT) Keď to zástupy zvedeli, išli za ním. On ich prijal, hovoril im o Božom kráľovstve a uzdravoval tých, čo to potrebovali.

12 (UKJV) And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.
12 (KAT) Deň sa začal schyľovať. Tu pristúpili Dvanásti a povedali mu: „Rozpusť zástup, nech sa rozídu do okolitých dedín a osád pohľadať si nocľah a jedlo, lebo tu sme na pustom mieste.“

13 (UKJV) "But he said unto them, Give all of you them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy food for all this people. "
13 (KAT) On im povedal: „Vy im dajte jesť!“ Oni vraveli: „Nemáme viac ako päť chlebov a dve ryby; ibaže by sme šli a nakúpili jedlo pre celý tento zástup.“

14 (UKJV) For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.

15 (UKJV) And they did so, and made them all sit down.
15 (KAT) Urobili to a všetkých usadili.

16 (UKJV) Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.
16 (KAT) Potom vzal päť chlebov a dve ryby, pozdvihol oči k nebu, dobrorečil nad nimi, lámal ich a dával svojim učeníkom, aby ich predkladali zástupu.

17 (UKJV) And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

18 (UKJV) And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?
18 (KAT) Keď sa raz osamote modlil a boli s ním učeníci, opýtal sa ich: „Za koho ma pokladajú zástupy?“

19 (UKJV) "They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others say, that one of the old prophets has risen again. "

20 (UKJV) He said unto them, But whom say all of you that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

21 (UKJV) "And he strictly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing; "
21 (KAT) Ale on im dôrazne prikázal, že to nesmú nikomu povedať,

22 (UKJV) Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
22 (KAT) a dodal: „Syn človeka musí mnoho trpieť, starší, veľkňazi a zákonníci ho zavrhnú, zabijú ho, ale on tretieho dňa vstane z mŕtvych.“

23 (UKJV) And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
23 (KAT) A všetkým povedal: „Kto chce ísť za mnou, nech zaprie sám seba, vezme každý deň svoj kríž a nasleduje ma.

24 (UKJV) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
24 (KAT) Lebo kto by si chcel život zachrániť, stratí ho, ale kto stratí svoj život pre mňa, zachráni si ho.

25 (UKJV) For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
25 (KAT) Veď čo osoží človeku, keby aj celý svet získal, a seba samého by stratil alebo poškodil?!

26 (UKJV) For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, (o. logos) of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

27 (UKJV) But I tell you truthfully, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
27 (KAT) Veru, hovorím vám: Niektorí z tých, čo tu stoja, neokúsia smrť, kým neuvidia Božie kráľovstvo.“

28 (UKJV) And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, (o. logos) he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

29 (UKJV) And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and flashing.

30 (UKJV) And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elijah:
30 (KAT) A hľa, rozprávali sa s ním dvaja mužovia - boli to Mojžiš a Eliáš.

31 (UKJV) Who appeared in glory, and spoke of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

32 (UKJV) But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
32 (KAT) Petra a tých, čo boli s ním, premohol spánok.

33 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah: not knowing what he said. "
Urobme tri stánky: jeden tebe, jeden Mojžišovi a jeden Eliášovi.“ Nevedel, čo hovorí.

34 (UKJV) While he thus spoke, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

35 (UKJV) And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
35 (KAT) A z oblaku zaznel hlas: „Toto je môj vyvolený Syn, počúvajte ho!“

36 (UKJV) And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.
36 (KAT) A kým hlas doznel, ostal Ježiš sám. Oni zmĺkli a v tých dňoch nehovorili nikomu o tom, čo videli.

37 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him.
37 (KAT) Keď na druhý deň zostúpili z vrchu, išiel mu v ústrety veľký zástup.

38 (UKJV) And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I plead to you, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.

39 (UKJV) "And, lo, a spirit (o. pneuma) takes him, and he suddenly cries out; and it tears him that he foams again, and bruising him hardly departs from him. "
39 (KAT) Hľa, zmocňuje sa ho duch, z ničoho nič kričí, hádže ním, až mu ide pena; ťažko ho opúšťa a týra ho.

40 (UKJV) "And I besought your disciples to cast him out; and they could not. "
40 (KAT) Prosil som tvojich učeníkov, aby ho vyhnali, ale nemohli.“

41 (UKJV) And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring your son here.
41 (KAT) Ježiš povedal: „Neveriace a skazené pokolenie, dokedy mám byť ešte s vami a trpieť vás? Priveď sem svojho syna.“

42 (UKJV) And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, (o. pneuma) and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.
42 (KAT) Ako prichádzal, zlý duch ho zhodil a zmietal ním. Ježiš nečistému duchu pohrozil, chlapca uzdravil a vrátil ho jeho otcovi.

43 (UKJV) And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,
43 (KAT) A všetci stŕpli nad veľkou Božou mocou. Keď sa všetci divili všetkému, čo robil, povedal svojim učeníkom:

44 (UKJV) Let these sayings (o. logos) sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.
44 (KAT) „Dobre počúvajte a zapamätajte si, čo vám poviem: Syn človeka bude vydaný do rúk ľudí.“

45 (UKJV) But they understood not this saying, (o. rhema) and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying. (o. rhema)

46 (UKJV) Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.
46 (KAT) Napadla im myšlienka, kto z nich je väčší.

47 (UKJV) And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,
47 (KAT) Ale Ježiš poznal zmýšľanie ich srdca, vzal dieťa, postavil ho vedľa seba

48 (UKJV) And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receives me: and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
48 (KAT) a povedal im: „Kto prijme toto dieťa v mojom mene, mňa prijíma. A kto prijíma mňa, prijíma toho, ktorý ma poslal. Lebo kto je medzi vami najmenší, ten je veľký.“

49 (UKJV) "And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in your name; and we forbad him, because he follows not with us. "
49 (KAT) Vtedy povedal Ján: „Učiteľ, videli sme kohosi, ako v tvojom mene vyháňa zlých duchov. Bránili sme mu to, veď nechodí s nami.“

50 (UKJV) And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

51 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

52 (UKJV) And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
52 (KAT) a poslal pred sebou poslov. Oni sa vydali na cestu a prišli do istej samarijskej dediny, aby mu pripravili nocľah.

53 (UKJV) And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
53 (KAT) Ale neprijali ho, lebo mal namierené do Jeruzalema.

54 (UKJV) And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, will you that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elijah did?
54 (KAT) Keď to videli učeníci Jakub a Ján, povedali: „Pane, máme povedať, aby zostúpil oheň z neba a zničil ich?“

55 (UKJV) But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, All of you know not what manner of spirit (o. pneuma) all of you are of.
55 (KAT) On sa obrátil a pokarhal ich.

56 (UKJV) For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
56 (KAT) A odišli do inej dediny.

57 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow you anywhere you go.
57 (KAT) Ako šli po ceste, ktosi mu povedal: „Pôjdem za tebou všade, kam pôjdeš.“

58 (UKJV) "And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has not where to lay his head. "
58 (KAT) Ježiš mu odvetil: „Líšky majú svoje skrýše a nebeské vtáky hniezda, ale Syn človeka nemá kde hlavu skloniť.“

59 (UKJV) And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
59 (KAT) Inému vravel: „Poď za mnou!“ On odpovedal: „Pane, dovoľ mi najprv odísť a pochovať si otca.“

60 (UKJV) Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go you and preach the kingdom of God.
60 (KAT) Ale Ježiš mu povedal: „Nechaj, nech si mŕtvi pochovávajú mŕtvych. Ty choď a zvestuj Božie kráľovstvo!“

61 (UKJV) "And another also said, Lord, I will follow you; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. "

62 (UKJV) And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
