1 (HEM) ויהי אחרי כן ויעבר מעיר אל עיר ומכפר אל כפר קורא ומבשר את מלכות האלהים ושנים העשר אתו׃
1 (VUL) Et factum est deinceps, et ipse iter faciebat per civitatem et ca stellum praedicans et evangelizans regnum Dei; et Duodecim cum illo
1 (KAT) Potom chodil po mestách a dedinách, kázal a hlásal evanjelium o Božom kráľovstve a s ním Dvanásti
1 (UKJV) And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

2 (HEM) ונשים אשר נרפאו מרוחות רעות ומחליים מרים הנקראה מגדלית אשר גרשו ממנה שבעה שדים׃
2 (VUL) et mulieres aliquae, quae erant curatae ab spiritibus malignis et infirmitatibus: Maria, quae vocatur Magdalene, de qua daemonia septem exierant,
2 (KAT) a niektoré ženy, ktoré uzdravil od zlých duchov a z chorôb: Mária, zvaná Magdaléna, z ktorej vyšlo sedem zlých duchov,
2 (UKJV) And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits (o. pneuma) and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

3 (HEM) ויוחנה אשת כוזא סוכן הורדוס ושושנה ואחרות רבות אשר שרתהו מנכסיהן׃
3 (VUL) et Ioanna uxor Chuza, procuratoris Herodis, et Susanna et aliae multae, quae ministrabant eis de facultatibus suis.
3 (KAT) Jana, žena Herodesovho správcu Chúzu, Zuzana a mnohé iné, ktoré im vypomáhali zo svojich prostriedkov.
3 (UKJV) And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

4 (HEM) ויהי בהתאסף המון עם רב אשר יצאו אליו מעיר ועיר וידבר במשל׃
4 (VUL) Cum autem turba plurima conveniret, et de singulis civitatibus properarent ad eum, dixit per similitudinem:
4 (KAT) Keď sa zišiel veľký zástup a prichádzali k nemu ľudia zo všetkých miest, povedal v podobenstve:
4 (UKJV) And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spoke by a parable:

5 (HEM) הזורע יצא לזרע את זרעו ובזרעו נפל מן הזרע על יד הדרך וירמס ועוף השמים אכלו׃
5 (VUL) “ Exiit, qui seminat, seminare semen suum. Et dum seminat ipse, aliud cecidit secus viam et conculcatum est, et volucres caeli comederunt illud.
5 (KAT) „Rozsievač vyšiel rozsievať semeno. Ako sial, jedno zrno padlo na kraj cesty. Tam ho pošliapali a nebeské vtáky pozobali.
5 (UKJV) "A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. "

6 (HEM) ויש אשר נפל על הסלע ויצמח וייבש כי לא היתה לו לחה׃
6 (VUL) Et aliud cecidit super petram et natum aruit, quia non habebat umorem.
6 (KAT) Druhé padlo na skalu. Vzišlo a uschlo, lebo nemalo vlahy.
6 (UKJV) "And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. "

7 (HEM) ויש אשר נפל בתוך הקצים ויצמחו הקצים עמו וימעכהו׃
7 (VUL) Et aliud cecidit inter spinas, et simul exortae spinae suffocaverunt illud.
7 (KAT) Iné zasa padlo do tŕnia, ale tŕnie rástlo s ním a udusilo ho.
7 (UKJV) "And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. "

8 (HEM) ויש אשר נפל על האדמה הטובה ויצמח ויעש פרי מאה שערים כזאת דבר ויזעק מי אשר אזנים לו לשמע ישמע׃
8 (VUL) Et aliud cecidit in terram bonam et ortum fecit fructum centuplum ”. Haec dicens clamabat: “ Qui habet aures audiendi, audiat ”.
8 (KAT) Iné zrno padlo do dobrej zeme. Vyrástlo a prinieslo stonásobnú úrodu.“ Keď to povedal, zvolal: „Kto má uši na počúvanie, nech počúva.“
8 (UKJV) And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

9 (HEM) וישאלהו תלמידיו לאמר מה המשל הזה׃
9 (VUL) Interrogabant autem eum discipuli eius, quae esset haec parabola.
9 (KAT) Jeho učeníci sa ho pýtali, aké je to podobenstvo.
9 (UKJV) And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

10 (HEM) ויאמר לכם נתן לדעת את סודות מלכות האלהים ולאחרים במשלים למען בראתם לא יראו ובשמעם לא יבינו׃
10 (VUL) Quibus ipse dixit: “ Vobis datum est nosse mysteria regni Dei, ceteris autem in parabolis, ut videntes non videant et audientes non intellegant.
10 (KAT) On im povedal: „Vám je dané poznať tajomstvá Božieho kráľovstva. Ostatným hovorím len v podobenstvách, aby hľadeli, ale nevideli, aby počúvali, ale nechápali.
10 (UKJV) "And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. "

12 (HEM) ואשר על יד הדרך הם השמעים ואחר כן בא השטן ונשא את הדבר מלבם פן יאמינו ונושעו׃
12 (VUL) Qui autem secus viam, sunt qui audiunt; deinde venit Diabolus et tollit verbum de corde eorum, ne credentes salvi fiant.
12 (KAT) Na kraji cesty, to sú tí, čo počúvajú, ale potom prichádza diabol a vyberá im slovo zo srdca, aby neuverili a neboli spasení.
12 (UKJV) "Those by the way side are they that hear; then comes the devil, and takes away the word (o. logos) out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. "

14 (HEM) ואשר נפל בין הקצים הם השמעים והוליכם להם וימכו בדאגות ובעשר ובתאות החיים ופרי לא ישוו למו׃
14 (VUL) Quod autem in spinis cecidit: hi sunt, qui audierunt et a sollicitudinibus et divitiis et voluptatibus vitae euntes suffocantur et non referunt fructum.
14 (KAT) Ktoré padlo do tŕnia, to sú tí, čo počúvajú, ale starosti, bohatstvo a rozkoše života ho postupne udusia a oni neprinesú úrodu.
14 (UKJV) And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

15 (HEM) ואשר באדמה הטובה הם השמרים בלב טוב וטהור את הדבר אשר שמעו ועשים פרי בתוחלת׃
15 (VUL) Quod autem in bonam terram: hi sunt, qui in corde bono et optimo audientes verbum retinent et fructum afferunt in patientia.
15 (KAT) A ktoré padlo do dobrej zeme, to sú tí, čo počúvajú slovo, zachovávajú ho v dobrom a šľachetnom srdci a s vytrvalosťou prinášajú úrodu.
15 (UKJV) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, (o. logos) keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

16 (HEM) ואין איש מדליק נר אשר יכסה אותו בכלי או ישימהו תחת המטה כי אם על המנורה יעלהו למען יראו כל באי הבית את האור׃
16 (VUL) Nemo autem lucernam accendens operit eam vaso aut subtus lectum ponit, sed supra candelabrum ponit, ut intrantes videant lumen.
16 (KAT) Nik nezažne lampu a neprikryje ju nádobou, ani ju nepostaví pod posteľ, ale postaví ju na svietnik, aby tí, čo vchádzajú, videli svetlo.

19 (HEM) ויבאו אליו אמו ואחיו ולא יכלו לגשת אליו מפני העם׃
19 (VUL) Venerunt autem ad illum mater et fratres eius, et non poterant adire ad eum prae turba.
19 (KAT) Prišla za ním jeho matka a bratia, ale pre zástup sa nemohli k nemu dostať.
19 (UKJV) Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.

20 (HEM) ויגד לו לאמר אמך ואחיך עמדים בחוץ והם חפצים לראותך׃
20 (VUL) Et nuntiatum est illi: “ Mater tua et fratres tui stant foris volentes te videre ”.

20 (UKJV) And it was told him by certain which said, Your mother and your brethren stand without, desiring to see you.

21 (HEM) ויען ויאמר אליהם אמי ואחי הם השמעים ועשים את דבר האלהים׃
21 (VUL) Qui respondens dixit ad eos: “ Mater mea et fratres mei hi sunt, qui verbum Dei audiunt et faciunt ”.
21 (KAT) On im odvetil: „Mojou matkou a mojimi bratmi sú tí, čo počúvajú Božie slovo a uskutočňujú ho.“
21 (UKJV) And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word (o. logos) of God, and do it.

22 (HEM) ויהי היום וירד אל אניה הוא ותלמידיו ויאמר אליהם נעברה אל עבר הים וישוטו הימה׃
22 (VUL) Factum est autem in una dierum, et ipse ascendit in navem et discipuli eius, et ait ad illos: “ Transfretemus trans stagnum ”. Et ascenderunt.
22 (KAT) V istý deň nastúpil on i jeho učeníci na loď; a povedal im: „Preplavme sa na druhý breh jazera.“ I odrazili od brehu.
22 (UKJV) Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

23 (HEM) ויהי בלכתם באניה וישכב ויישן ורוח סערה ירדה על הים וישטפו עליהם המים ויהיו בסכנה׃
23 (VUL) Navigantibus autem illis, obdormivit. Et descendit procella venti in stagnum, et complebantur et periclitabantur.
23 (KAT) Ako sa plavili, zaspal. Tu sa na jazero spustila taká víchrica, že sa im naberala voda a boli vo veľkom nebezpečenstve.
23 (UKJV) "But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. "

24 (HEM) ויגשו ויעירו אותו לאמר מורה מורה אבדנו ויעור ויגער ברוח ובמשברי ים וישתקו ותהי דממה׃

25 (HEM) ויאמר אליהם איה אמונתכם וייראו ויתמהו ויאמרו איש אל רעהו מי אפוא הוא המצוה גם את הרוחות ואת המים וישמעו לו׃
25 (VUL) Dixit autem illis: “ Ubi est fides vestra? ”. Qui timentes mirati sunt dicentes ad invicem: “ Quis putas hic est, quia et ventis imperat et aquae, et oboediunt ei? ”.

25 (UKJV) And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commands even the winds and water, and they obey him.

26 (HEM) ויעברו ויבאו אל ארץ הגדריים אשר ממול הגליל׃
26 (VUL) Enavigaverunt autem ad regionem Gergesenorum, quae est contra Galilaeam.
26 (KAT) Doplavili sa do gergezského kraja, ktorý je oproti Galilei.
26 (UKJV) And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite to Galilee.

27 (HEM) ויצא אל היבשה ויפגשהו איש מן העיר אשר שדים בו מימים רבים ובגד לא לבש ובבית לא ישב כי אם בקברים׃
27 (VUL) Et cum egressus esset ad terram, occurrit illi vir quidam de civitate, qui habebat daemonia et iam tempore multo vestimento non induebatur neque in domo manebat sed in monumentis.
27 (KAT) Keď vystúpil na breh, vyšiel oproti nemu akýsi muž z mesta, posadnutý zlými duchmi. Už dlhý čas sa neobliekal a nebýval v dome, ale v hroboch.
27 (UKJV) And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

28 (HEM) וירא את ישוע ויפל לפניו ויקרא בקול גדול מה לי ולך ישוע בן אל עליון מבקש אני ממך אשר לא תענני׃
28 (VUL) Is ut vidit Iesum, exclamans procidit ante illum et voce magna dixit: “ Quid mihi et tibi est, Iesu, Fili Dei Altissimi? Obsecro te, ne me torqueas ”.
28 (KAT) Keď zbadal Ježiša, skríkol, padol pred ním a zvolal veľkým hlasom: „Čo ťa do mňa, Ježiš, Syn najvyššieho Boha? Prosím ťa, nemuč ma!“
28 (UKJV) When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of God most high? I plead to you, torment me not.

29 (HEM) כי צוה את הרוח הטמא לצאת מן האיש כי ימים רבים חטף אתו ונאסר בזיקים ונשמר בכבלים והיה בנתקו את המוסרות ונדחף ביד השד אל המדברות׃
29 (VUL) Praecipiebat enim spiritui immundo, ut exiret ab homine. Multis enim temporibus arripiebat illum, vinciebatur catenis et compedibus custoditus; et ruptis vinculis, agebatur a daemonio in deserta.
29 (KAT) Lebo Ježiš nečistému duchu rozkázal, aby vyšiel z toho človeka - už dlhý čas ho mal v moci. Aj ho sputnali reťazami a okovami a strážili ho, ale on putá roztrhal a zlý duch ho hnal na púšť.
29 (UKJV) "(For he had commanded the unclean spirit (o. pneuma) to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) "

30 (HEM) וישאל אתו ישוע לאמר מה שמך ויאמר לגיון שמי כי שדים רבים נכנסו בו׃
30 (VUL) Interrogavit autem illum Iesus dicens: “ Quod tibi nomen est? ”. At ille dixit: “ Legio ”, quia intraverunt daemonia multa in eum.
30 (KAT) Ježiš sa ho spýtal: „Ako sa voláš?“ On odpovedal: „Pluk,“ lebo doň vošlo mnoho zlých duchov.
30 (UKJV) And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

31 (HEM) ויתחנן לו לבלתי צות אתם לרדת אל התהום׃
31 (VUL) Et rogabant eum, ne imperaret illis, ut in abyssum irent.
31 (KAT) A prosili ho, aby im nerozkázal odísť do priepasti.
31 (UKJV) And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.

32 (HEM) ויהי שם עדר חזירים רבים על המרעה בהר ויתחננו לו כי יניח להם לבוא אל תוכם וינח להם׃
32 (VUL) Erat autem ibi grex porcorum multorum pascentium in monte; et rogaverunt eum, ut permitteret eis in illos ingredi. Et permisit illis.
32 (KAT) Na vrchu sa tam pásla veľká črieda svíň. Preto ho prosili, aby im dovolil vojsť do nich; on im to dovolil.
32 (UKJV) And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.

33 (HEM) ויצאו השדים מן האדם ההוא ויבאו בחזירים וישתער העדר מן המורד אל הים ויטבע׃
33 (VUL) Exierunt ergo daemonia ab homine et intraverunt in porcos, et impetu abiit grex per praeceps in stagnum et suffocatus est.
33 (KAT) Tu zlí duchovia vyšli z človeka, vošli do svíň a črieda sa prudko hnala dolu svahom do jazera a potopila sa.
33 (UKJV) Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.

34 (HEM) וינוסו הרעים כראותם את אשר נעשה ויגידו הדבר בעיר ובכפרים׃
34 (VUL) Quod ut viderunt factum, qui pascebant, fugerunt et nuntiaverunt in civitatem et in villas.
34 (KAT) Keď pastieri videli, čo sa stalo, ušli a rozhlásili to v meste a po osadách.
34 (UKJV) When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.

35 (HEM) ויצאו לראת את אשר נעשה ויבאו אל ישוע וימצאו שם את האדם אשר יצאו ממנו השדים ישב לרגלי ישוע מלבש וטוב שכל וייראו׃
35 (VUL) Exierunt autem videre, quod factum est, et venerunt ad Iesum et invenerunt hominem sedentem, a quo daemonia exierant, vestitum ac sana mente ad pedes Iesu et timuerunt.
35 (KAT) A ľudia vyšli pozrieť sa, čo sa stalo. Prišli k Ježišovi a našli človeka, z ktorého vyšli zlí duchovia, ako sedí oblečený a pri zdravom rozume pri Ježišových nohách, a schytila ich hrôza.
35 (UKJV) "Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. "

36 (HEM) ויספרו להם הראים איך נרפא אחוז השדים׃
36 (VUL) Nuntiaverunt autem illis hi, qui viderant, quomodo sanus factus esset, qui a daemonio vexabatur.
36 (KAT) Očití svedkovia im rozpovedali, ako bol uzdravený ten, ktorého trápil zlý duch.
36 (UKJV) They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.

37 (HEM) ויבקשו ממנו כל המון חבל הגדריים ללכת מאתם כי אימה גדולה נפלה עליהם וירד אל האניה וישב׃
37 (VUL) Et rogaverunt illum omnis multitudo regionis Gergesenorum, ut discederet ab ipsis, quia timore magno tenebantur. Ipse autem ascendens navem reversus est.
37 (KAT) A všetci obyvatelia gergezského kraja ho prosili, aby od nich odišiel, lebo sa ich zmocnil veľký strach. On teda nastúpil na loď a vrátil sa.
37 (UKJV) "Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again. "

38 (HEM) ויבקש ממנו האיש אשר יצאו ממנו השדים לשבת אתו וישלח אתו ישוע באמרו׃
38 (VUL) Et rogabat illum vir, a quo daemonia exierant, ut cum eo esset. Dimisit autem eum dicens:
38 (KAT) Muž, z ktorého vyšli zlí duchovia, ho prosil, aby smel zostať s ním. Ale on ho poslal preč so slovami:
38 (UKJV) Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,

39 (HEM) שוב לביתך וספר הגדלות אשר עשה לך האלהים וילך לו וישמע בכל העיר את הגדלות אשר עשה לו ישוע׃
39 (VUL) “ Redi domum tuam et narra quanta tibi fecit Deus ”. Et abiit per universam civitatem praedicans quanta illi fecisset Iesus.
39 (KAT) „Vráť sa domov a rozprávaj, aké veľké veci ti urobil Boh!“ On šiel a po celom meste rozhlasoval, aké veľké veci mu urobil Ježiš.
39 (UKJV) Return to your own house, and show how great things God has done unto you. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

40 (HEM) ויהי בשוב ישוע ויקבל אתו העם כי כלם היו מחכים לו׃
40 (VUL) Cum autem rediret Iesus, excepit illum turba; erant enim omnes exspectantes eum.
40 (KAT) Keď sa Ježiš vrátil, privítal ho zástup, lebo všetci naň čakali.
40 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

41 (HEM) והנה בא איש ושמו יאיר והוא ראש בית הכנסת ויפל לרגלי ישוע ויתחנן לו לבוא אתו אל ביתו׃
41 (VUL) Et ecce venit vir, cui nomen Iairus, et ipse princeps synagogae erat, et cecidit ad pedes Iesu rogans eum, ut intraret in domum eius,
41 (KAT) Tu prišiel muž, menom Jairus, ktorý bol predstaveným synagógy. Padol Ježišovi k nohám a prosil ho, aby šiel do jeho domu,
41 (UKJV) And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:

42 (HEM) כי בת יחידה כשתים עשרה שנה היתה לו והיא נוטה למות ויהי בלכתו שמה וידחקהו המון העם׃
42 (VUL) quia filia unica erat illi fere annorum duodecim, et haec moriebatur. Et dum iret, a turbis comprimebatur.
42 (KAT) lebo mal jedinú, asi dvanásťročnú dcéru a tá umierala. Ako šiel, tlačil sa naňho zástup.

43 (HEM) ואשה זבת דם שתים עשרה שנה אשר הוציאה כל קנינה לרפאים ואין איש יכל לרפאתה׃
43 (VUL) Et mulier quaedam erat in fluxu sanguinis ab annis duodecim, quae in medicos erogaverat omnem substantiam suam nec ab ullo potuit curari;
43 (KAT) Bola tam aj istá žena, ktorá mala dvanásť rokov krvotok; minula na lekárov celý svoj majetok, ale ani jeden ju nemohol vyliečiť.
43 (UKJV) And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

44 (HEM) היא קרבה מאחריו ותגע בציצת בגדו וזוב דמה עמד פתאם׃
44 (VUL) accessit retro et tetigit fimbriam vestimenti eius, et confestim stetit fluxus sanguinis eius.
44 (KAT) Pristúpila odzadu, dotkla sa obruby jeho šiat a hneď prestala krvácať.
44 (UKJV) Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stopped.

45 (HEM) ויאמר ישוע מי זה נגע בי וכלם כחשו ויאמר פטרוס והעמדים אצלו מורה המון העם דחקים ולחצים אתך ואתה תאמר מי נגע בי׃
45 (VUL) Et ait Iesus: “ Quis est, qui me tetigit? ”. Negantibus autem omnibus, dixit Petrus: “ Praeceptor, turbae te comprimunt et affligunt ”.
45 (KAT) Ježiš sa spýtal: „Kto sa ma to dotkol?“ Keď to všetci popierali, ozval sa Peter: „Učiteľ, veď sa tlačia zástupy a tisnú ťa!“
45 (UKJV) And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude crowd upon you and press you, and say you, Who touched me?

46 (HEM) ויאמר ישוע נגע בי אדם כי ידעתי אשר יצאה ממני גבורה׃

46 (KAT) Ale Ježiš povedal: „Niekto sa ma dotkol, lebo som pocítil, že zo mňa vyšla sila.“
46 (UKJV) And Jesus said, Somebody has touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

47 (HEM) ותרא האשה כי לא נסתרה ממנו ותחרד לקראתו ותפל לפניו ותגד באזני כל העם על מה נגעה בו ואיך נרפאה פתאם׃
47 (VUL) Videns autem mulier quia non latuit, tremens venit et procidit ante eum et ob quam causam tetigerit eum indicavit coram omni populo et quemadmodum confestim sanata sit.
47 (KAT) Žena, vidiac, že sa neutají, prišla s chvením, padla pred neho a pred všetkým ľudom sa priznala, prečo sa ho dotkla a ako hneď ozdravela.
47 (UKJV) And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.

48 (HEM) ויאמר אליה חזקי בתי אמונתך הושיעה לך לכי לשלום׃
48 (VUL) At ipse dixit illi: “ Filia, fides tua te salvam fecit. Vade in pace ”.
48 (KAT) A on jej povedal: „Dcéra, tvoja viera ťa uzdravila. Choď v pokoji!“
48 (UKJV) "And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: your faith has made you whole; go in peace. "

49 (HEM) עודנו מדבר ואיש בא מבית ראש הכנסת ויאמר מתה בתך אל תטריח את המורה׃
49 (VUL) Adhuc illo loquente, venit quidam e domo principis synagogae dicens: “ Mortua est filia tua; noli amplius vexare magistrum ”.
49 (KAT) Kým ešte hovoril, prišiel ktosi z domu predstaveného synagógy a povedal: „Tvoja dcéra umrela; už neunúvaj učiteľa.“
49 (UKJV) "While he yet spoke, there comes one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Your daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. "

50 (HEM) וישמע ישוע ויען ויאמר לו אל תירא אך האמן והיא תושע׃
50 (VUL) Iesus autem, audito hoc verbo, respondit ei: “ Noli timere; crede tantum, et salva erit ”.
50 (KAT) Ale keď to Ježiš počul, povedal mu: „Neboj sa, len ver a bude zachránená!“
50 (UKJV) But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

51 (HEM) ויבא הביתה ולא הניח לאיש לבוא אתו בלתי אם לפטרוס וליעקב וליוחנן ולאבי הילדה ולאמה׃
51 (VUL) Et cum venisset domum, non permisit intrare secum quemquam nisi Petrum et Ioannem et Iacobum et patrem puellae et matrem.
51 (KAT) Keď prišiel k domu, nikomu nedovolil vojsť dnu, iba Petrovi, Jánovi a Jakubovi s otcom a matkou dievčaťa.
51 (UKJV) And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.

52 (HEM) וכלם בכים וספדים לה ויאמר אל תבכו כי לא מתה אך ישנה היא׃
52 (VUL) Flebant autem omnes et plangebant illam. At ille dixit: “ Nolite flere; non est enim mortua, sed dormit ”.
52 (KAT) Všetci nad dievčaťom plakali a nariekali. On povedal: „Neplačte! Dievča neumrelo, ale spí.“
52 (UKJV) "And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleeps. "

53 (HEM) וישחקו עליו באשר ידעו כי מתה׃
53 (VUL) Et deridebant eum scientes quia mortua esset.
53 (KAT) Oni ho vysmiali, lebo vedeli, že umrelo.
53 (UKJV) And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.

54 (HEM) והוא אחז בידה ויקרא לאמר הילדה קומי׃
54 (VUL) Ipse autem tenens manum eius clamavit dicens: “ Puella, surge! ”.
54 (KAT) Ale on ho chytil za ruku a zvolal: „Dievča, vstaň!“
54 (UKJV) And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

55 (HEM) ותשב רוחה ותקם פתאם ויצו לתת לה לאכול׃
55 (VUL) Et reversus est spiritus eius, et surrexit continuo; et iussit illi dari manducare.
55 (KAT) I vrátil sa doň duch a hneď vstalo. A rozkázal, aby mu dali jesť.
55 (UKJV) And her spirit (o. pneuma) came again, and she arose immediately: and he commanded to give her food.

56 (HEM) וישתוממו אביה ואמה והוא צוה אתם לבלתי הגיד לאיש את אשר נעשה׃
