1 (HEM) וגם משל דבר אליהם להתפלל תמיד ולא להתרפות׃
1 (VUL) Dicebat autem parabolam ad illos, quoniam oportet semper orare et non deficere,
1 (KAT) Rozpovedal im podobenstvo, ako sa treba stále modliť a neochabovať:
1 (UKJV) "And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; "

2 (HEM) ויאמר שופט היה בעיר אחת אשר לא ירא את האלהים ולא נשא פנים לאדם׃
2 (VUL) dicens: “ Iudex quidam erat in quadam civitate, qui Deum non timebat et hominem non reverebatur.
2 (KAT) „V istom meste bol sudca, ktorý sa Boha nebál a ľudí nehanbil.
2 (UKJV) Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

3 (HEM) ואלמנה היתה בעיר ההיא ותבא אליו לאמר דינה את דיני ממריבי׃
3 (VUL) Vidua autem erat in civitate illa et veniebat ad eum dicens: “Vindica me de adversario meo”.
3 (KAT) Bola v tom meste aj vdova, ktorá k nemu chodila s prosbou: »Obráň ma pred mojím protivníkom.«
3 (UKJV) "And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. "

4 (HEM) וימאן מיום אל יום ואחרי כן אמר בנפשו גם כי את האלהים אינני ירא ולאדם לא אשא פנים׃
4 (VUL) Et nolebat per multum tempus; post haec autem dixit intra se: “Etsi Deum non timeo nec hominem revereor,
4 (KAT) Ale on dlho nechcel. No potom si povedal: »Hoci sa Boha nebojím a ľudí sa nehanbím,
4 (UKJV) "And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; "

5 (HEM) אעשה את דין האלמנה הזאת על הוגיעה אתי פן תבוא תמיד ותדכאני במלים׃
5 (VUL) tamen quia molesta est mihi haec vidua, vindicabo illam, ne in novissimo veniens suggillet me” ”.
5 (KAT) obránim tú vdovu, keď ma tak unúva, aby napokon neprišla a neudrela ma po tvári.«“
5 (UKJV) Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

6 (HEM) ויאמר האדון שמעו את אשר אמר דין העולה׃
6 (VUL) Ait autem Dominus: “ Audite quid iudex iniquitatis dicit;
6 (KAT) A Pán povedal: „Počúvajte, čo hovorí nespravodlivý sudca!
6 (UKJV) And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge says.

7 (HEM) והאלהים הלא הוא יעשה דין בחיריו הקראים אליו יומם ולילה גם כי יתמהמה להושיעם׃
7 (VUL) Deus autem non faciet vindictam electorum suorum clamantium ad se die ac nocte, et patientiam habebit in illis?
7 (KAT) A Boh neobráni svojich vyvolených, čo k nemu volajú dňom i nocou, a bude k nim nevšímavý?
7 (UKJV) And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

8 (HEM) אני אמר לכם כי יעשה את דינם במהרה אך בן האדם בבאו הימצא אמונה בארץ׃
8 (VUL) Dico vobis: Cito faciet vindictam illorum. Verumtamen Filius hominis veniens, putas, inveniet fidem in terra? ”.
8 (KAT) Hovorím vám: Zaraz ich obráni. Ale nájde Syn človeka vieru na zemi, keď príde?“
8 (UKJV) I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?

9 (HEM) ויוסף וישא משלו אל אנשים בטחים בנפשם כי צדיקים המה ואחרים נבזים בעיניהם ויאמר׃
9 (VUL) Dixit autem et ad quosdam, qui in se confidebant tamquam iusti et aspernabantur ceteros, parabolam istam:
9 (KAT) Tým, čo si namýšľali, že sú spravodliví, a ostatnými pohŕdali, povedal toto podobenstvo:
9 (UKJV) And he spoke this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

10 (HEM) שני אנשים עלו אל המקדש להתפלל האחד פרוש והאחד מוכס׃
10 (VUL) “ Duo homines ascenderunt in templum, ut orarent: unus pharisaeus et alter publicanus.
10 (KAT) „Dvaja ľudia vstúpili do chrámu modliť sa. Jeden bol farizej, druhý mýtnik.
10 (UKJV) "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. "

11 (HEM) ויתיצב הפרוש לבדו ויתפלל לאמר אלהים אודך כי אינני כאשר האדם הגזלים והעשקים והנאפים או גם כמכס הזה׃
11 (VUL) Pharisaeus stans haec apud se orabat: “Deus, gratias ago tibi, quia non sum sicut ceteri hominum, raptores, iniusti, adulteri, velut etiam hic publicanus;
11 (KAT) Farizej sa postavil a takto sa v sebe modlil: »Bože, ďakujem ti, že nie som ako ostatní ľudia: vydierači, nespravodlivci, cudzoložníci alebo aj ako tento mýtnik.
11 (UKJV) The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank you, that I am not as other men are, extortionists, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

12 (HEM) אני צם פעמים בשבוע אני מעשר את כל קניני׃
12 (VUL) ieiuno bis in sabbato, decimas do omnium, quae possideo”.
12 (KAT) Postím sa dva razy do týždňa, dávam desiatky zo všetkého, čo mám.«
12 (UKJV) I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

13 (HEM) והמוכס היה עמד מרחוק ולא אבה אף לשאת את עיניו לשמים כי אם תופף על לבו לאמר אלהים סלח לי החוטא׃
13 (VUL) Et publicanus a longe stans nolebat nec oculos ad caelum levare, sed percutiebat pectus suum dicens: “Deus, propitius esto mihi peccatori”.
13 (KAT) Mýtnik stál celkom vzadu a neodvážil sa ani oči k nebu zdvihnúť, ale bil sa do pŕs a hovoril: »Bože, buď milostivý mne hriešnemu.«
13 (UKJV) And the publican, standing far off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but stroke upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

14 (HEM) אני אמר לכם כי ירד זה לביתו נצדק מזה כי כל המרים את נפשו ישפל ואשר ישפילה ירומם׃
14 (VUL) Dico vobis: Descendit hic iustificatus in domum suam ab illo. Quia omnis, qui se exaltat, humiliabitur; et, qui se humiliat, exaltabitur ”.
14 (KAT) Hovorím vám: Tento odišiel domov ospravedlnený, a nie tamten. Lebo každý, kto sa povyšuje, bude ponížený, a kto sa ponižuje, bude povýšený.“
14 (UKJV) "I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be brought low; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted. "

15 (HEM) ויביאו אליו גם את הילדים למען יגע בהם ויראו התלמידים ויגערו בם׃
15 (VUL) Afferebant autem ad illum et infantes, ut eos tangeret; quod cum viderent, discipuli increpabant illos.
15 (KAT) Prinášali k nemu aj nemluvňatá, aby sa ich dotkol. Keď to videli učeníci, okrikovali ich.
15 (UKJV) And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

16 (HEM) ויקרא אתם ישוע אליו ויאמר הניחו לילדים לבוא אלי ואל תמנעום כי לאלה מלכות האלהים׃
16 (VUL) Iesus autem convocans illos dixit: “ Sinite pueros venire ad me et nolite eos vetare; talium est enim regnum Dei.
16 (KAT) Ale Ježiš si ich zavolal a povedal: „Nechajte deti prichádzať ku mne a nebráňte im, lebo takým patrí Božie kráľovstvo!
16 (UKJV) But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

17 (HEM) אמן אמר אני לכם כל אשר לא יקבל את מלכות האלהים כילד הוא לא יבא בה׃
17 (VUL) Amen dico vobis: Quicumque non acceperit regnum Dei sicut puer, non intrabit in illud ”.
17 (KAT) Veru, hovorím vám: Kto neprijme Božie kráľovstvo ako dieťa, nevojde doň.“
17 (UKJV) Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

18 (HEM) וישאלהו קצין אחד לאמר רבי הטוב מה לי לעשות ואירש חיי עולמים׃
18 (VUL) Et interrogavit eum quidam princeps dicens: “ Magister bone, quid faciens vitam aeternam possidebo? ”.
18 (KAT) Tu sa ho ktorýsi popredný muž opýtal: „Učiteľ dobrý, čo mám robiť, aby som bol dedičom večného života?“
18 (UKJV) And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

19 (HEM) ויאמר אליו ישוע מדוע קראת לי טוב אין טוב בלתי אחד האלהים׃
19 (VUL) Dixit autem ei Iesus: “ Quid me dicis bonum? Nemo bonus nisi solus Deus.
19 (KAT) Ježiš mu povedal: „Prečo ma nazývaš dobrým? Nik nie je dobrý, jedine Boh.
19 (UKJV) And Jesus said unto him, Why call you me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

20 (HEM) את המצות אתה יודע לא תנאף לא תרצח לא תגנב לא תענה עד שקר כבד את אביך ואת אמך׃
20 (VUL) Mandata nosti: non moechaberis, non occides, non furtum facies, non falsum testimonium dices, honora patrem tuum et matrem ”.
20 (KAT) Poznáš prikázania: Nescudzoložíš! Nezabiješ! Nepokradneš! Nebudeš krivo svedčiť! Cti svojho otca i matku!?“
20 (UKJV) You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour your father and your mother.

21 (HEM) ויאמר את כל אלה שמרתי מנעורי׃
21 (VUL) Qui ait: “ Haec omnia custodivi a iuventute ”.
21 (KAT) On vravel: „Toto všetko som zachovával od mladosti.“
21 (UKJV) And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

22 (HEM) וישמע ישוע ויאמר עוד אחת חסרת מכר את כל אשר לך וחלק לעניים ויהי לך אוצר בשמים ובוא ולך אחרי׃
22 (VUL) Quo audito, Iesus ait ei: “ Adhuc unum tibi deest: omnia, quaecumque habes, vende et da pauperibus et habebis thesaurum in caelo: et veni, sequere me ”.
22 (KAT) Keď to Ježiš počul, povedal mu: „Ešte ti jedno chýba. Predaj všetko, čo máš, rozdaj chudobným a budeš mať poklad v nebi. Potom príď a nasleduj ma.“
22 (UKJV) Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lack you one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute unto the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

23 (HEM) ויהי כשמעו את זאת ויעצב מאד כי עשר גדול היה לו׃
23 (VUL) His ille auditis, contristatus est, quia dives erat valde.
23 (KAT) Keď to počul, zosmutnel, lebo bol veľmi bohatý.
23 (UKJV) And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

24 (HEM) וירא ישוע כי נעצב ויאמר כמה יקשה לבעלי נכסים לבוא אל מלכות האלהים׃
24 (VUL) Videns autem illum Iesus tristem factum dixit: “ Quam difficile, qui pecunias habent, in regnum Dei intrant.
24 (KAT) Ježiš, vidiac, ako zosmutnel, povedal: „Ako ťažko vchádzajú do Božieho kráľovstva tí, čo majú majetky!
24 (UKJV) And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

25 (HEM) כי נקל לגמל עבר בתוך נקב המחט מבוא עשיר אל מלכות האלהים׃
25 (VUL) Facilius est enim camelum per foramen acus transire, quam divitem intrare in regnum Dei ”.
25 (KAT) Ľahšie je ťave prejsť cez ucho ihly, ako boháčovi vojsť do Božieho kráľovstva.“
25 (UKJV) For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

26 (HEM) ויאמרו השמעים ומי יוכל להושע׃
26 (VUL) Et dixerunt, qui audiebant: “ Et quis potest salvus fieri? ”.
26 (KAT) Tí, čo to počuli, povedali: „Kto potom môže byť spasený?“
26 (UKJV) And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

27 (HEM) ויאמר מה שיפלא מבני אדם לא יפלא מאלהים׃
27 (VUL) Ait autem illis: “ Quae impossibilia sunt apud homi nes, possibilia sunt apud Deum ”.
27 (KAT) On im povedal: „Čo je nemožné ľuďom, je možné Bohu.“
27 (UKJV) And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

28 (HEM) ויאמר פטרוס הן אנחנו עזבנו את הכל ונלך אחריך׃
28 (VUL) Ait autem Petrus: “ Ecce nos dimisimus nostra et secuti sumus te ”.
28 (KAT) Peter vravel: „Pozri, my sme opustili, čo sme mali, a išli sme za tebou.“
28 (UKJV) Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed you.

29 (HEM) ויאמר אליהם אמן אמר אני לכם אין איש אשר עזב את ביתו או את אבותיו או את אחיו או את אשתו או את בניו למען מלכות האלהים׃
29 (VUL) Qui dixit eis: “ Amen dico vobis: Nemo est, qui reliquit domum aut uxorem aut fratres aut parentes aut filios propter regnum Dei,
29 (KAT) On im povedal: „Veru, hovorím vám: Niet nikoho, kto pre Božie kráľovstvo opustí dom alebo ženu, alebo bratov, alebo rodičov, alebo deti,
29 (UKJV) And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,

30 (HEM) ולא יקח תחתיהם כפלים הרבה בעולם הזה ובעולם הבא חיי עולמים׃
30 (VUL) et non recipiat multo plura in hoc tempore et in saeculo venturo vitam aeternam ”.
30 (KAT) aby nedostal oveľa viac v tomto čase a v budúcom veku večný život.“
30 (UKJV) Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

31 (HEM) ויקח אליו את שנים העשר ויאמר להם הננו עלים ירושלימה וימלא כל הכתוב בידי הנביאים על בן האדם׃
31 (VUL) Assumpsit autem Duodecim et ait illis: “ Ecce ascendimus Ierusalem, et consummabuntur omnia, quae scripta sunt per Prophetas de Filio hominis:
31 (KAT) Vtedy si vzal Dvanástich a hovoril im: „Hľa, vystupujeme do Jeruzalema a splní sa všetko, čo napísali Proroci o Synovi človeka.
31 (UKJV) Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

32 (HEM) כי ימסר לגוים ויהתלו בו ויתעללו בו וירקו בפניו׃
32 (VUL) tradetur enim gentibus et illudetur et contumeliis afficietur et conspuetur;
32 (KAT) Vydajú ho pohanom, vysmejú, potupia a opľujú,
32 (UKJV) For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully pleaded, and spitted on:

33 (HEM) ואחרי הכותם אתו בשוטים ימיתוהו וביום השלישי קום יקום׃
33 (VUL) et, postquam flagellaverint, occident eum, et die tertia resurget ”.
33 (KAT) zbičujú ho a zabijú, ale on tretieho dňa vstane z mŕtvych.“
33 (UKJV) And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

34 (HEM) והם לא הבינו מאומה ויהי הדבר הזה נעלם מהם ולא ידעו את הנאמר׃
34 (VUL) Et ipsi nihil horum intellexerunt; et erat verbum istud absconditum ab eis, et non intellegebant, quae dicebantur.
34 (KAT) Lenže oni z toho ničomu nerozumeli. Toto slovo im zostalo zahalené a nepochopili, čo hovoril.
34 (UKJV) And they understood none of these things: and this saying (o. rhema) was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

35 (HEM) ויהי בקרבו אל יריחו והנה איש עור ישב על הדרך והוא משאל׃
35 (VUL) Factum est autem, cum appropinquaret Iericho, caecus quidam sedebat secus viam mendicans.
35 (KAT) Keď sa približoval k Jerichu, sedel pri ceste akýsi slepec a žobral.
35 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

36 (HEM) וישמע את קול העם העבר וידרש לדעת מה זאת׃
36 (VUL) Et cum audiret turbam praetereuntem, interrogabat quid hoc esset.
36 (KAT) Keď počul, že tadiaľ prechádza zástup, pýtal sa, čo sa deje.
36 (UKJV) And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

37 (HEM) ויגידו לו כי ישוע הנצרי עובר׃
37 (VUL) Dixerunt autem ei: “ Iesus Nazarenus transit ”.
37 (KAT) Povedali mu: „Ježiš Nazaretský ide tadiaľto.“
37 (UKJV) And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passes by.

38 (HEM) ויצעק לאמר ישוע בן דוד חנני׃
38 (VUL) Et clamavit dicens: “ Iesu, fili David, miserere mei! ”.
38 (KAT) Tu vykríkol: „Ježišu, Syn Dávidov, zmiluj sa nado mnou!“
38 (UKJV) And he cried, saying, Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me.

39 (HEM) וההלכים בראשנה גערו בו להחשתו והוא הרבה עוד לצעק ישוע בן דוד חנני׃
39 (VUL) Et qui praeibant, increpabant eum, ut taceret; ipse vero multo magis clamabat: “ Fili David, miserere mei! ”.
39 (KAT) Tí, čo išli popredku, ho okríkali, aby mlčal. Ale on ešte väčšmi kričal: „Syn Dávidov, zmiluj sa nado mnou!“
39 (UKJV) And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, You son of David, have mercy on me.

40 (HEM) ויעמד ישוע ויצו להביאו אליו ויהי כאשר קרב וישאלהו לאמר׃
40 (VUL) Stans autem Iesus iussit illum adduci ad se. Et cum appropinquasset, interrogavit illum:
40 (KAT) Ježiš zastal a kázal, aby ho priviedli k nemu. Keď sa priblížil, opýtal sa ho:
40 (UKJV) And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,

41 (HEM) מה חפצך כי אעשה לך ויאמר אדני כי אראה׃
41 (VUL) “ Quid tibi vis faciam? ”. At ille dixit: “ Domine, ut videam ”.
41 (KAT) „Čo chceš, aby som ti urobil?“ On odpovedal: „Pane, aby som videl.“
41 (UKJV) Saying, What will you that I shall do unto you? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

42 (HEM) ויאמר אליו ראה אמונתך הושיעה לך׃
42 (VUL) Et Iesus dixit illi: “ Respice! Fides tua te salvum fecit ”.
42 (KAT) A Ježiš mu povedal: „Pozeraj! Tvoja viera ťa uzdravila.“
42 (UKJV) And Jesus said unto him, Receive your sight: your faith has saved you.

43 (HEM) ופתאם ראה וילך אחריו הלך ושבח את האלהים וכל העם בראותם זאת נתנו תודה לאלהים׃
43 (VUL) Et confestim vidit et sequebatur illum magnificans Deum. Et omnis plebs, ut vidit, dedit laudem Deo.
43 (KAT) A hneď videl, šiel za ním a velebil Boha. Aj všetok ľud, keď to videl, vzdával Bohu chválu.
43 (UKJV) And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
