1 (HEM) ויהי בקרב אליו כל המוכסים והחטאים לשמע אותו׃
1 (VUL) Erant autem appropinquan tes ei omnes publicani et pec catores, ut audirent illum.
1 (KAT) Približovali sa k nemu všetci mýtnici a hriešnici a počúvali ho.
1 (UKJV) Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners in order to hear him.

2 (HEM) וילונו הפרושים והסופרים לאמר הנה זה מקבל את החטאים ואכל אתם׃
2 (VUL) Et murmurabant pharisaei et scribae dicentes: “ Hic peccatores recipit et manducat cum illis ”.
2 (KAT) Farizeji a zákonníci šomrali: „Tento prijíma hriešnikov a jedáva s nimi.“
2 (UKJV) And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners, and eats with them.

3 (HEM) וידבר אליהם את המשל הזה לאמר׃
3 (VUL) Et ait ad illos parabolam istam dicens:
3 (KAT) Preto im povedal toto podobenstvo:
3 (UKJV) And he spoke this parable unto them, saying,

4 (HEM) מי זה האיש מכם אשר לו מאה כבשים ואבד לו אחד מהם ולא יטוש את התשעים ותשעה במדבר והלך אחרי האבד עד כי ימצאהו׃
4 (VUL) “ Quis ex vobis homo, qui habet centum oves et si perdiderit unam ex illis, nonne dimittit nonaginta novem in deserto et vadit ad illam, quae perierat, donec inveniat illam?
4 (KAT) „Ak má niekto z vás sto oviec a jednu z nich stratí, nenechá tých deväťdesiatdeväť na púšti a nepôjde za tou, čo sa stratila, kým ju nenájde?
4 (UKJV) What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

5 (HEM) והיה כמצאו אתו ישימנו על כתפיו בשמחה׃
5 (VUL) Et cum invenerit eam, imponit in umeros suos gaudens
5 (KAT) A keď ju nájde, vezme ju s radosťou na plecia,
5 (UKJV) And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

6 (HEM) ובא אל ביתו וקרא לאהביו ולשכניו יחד לאמר שמחו אתי כי מצאתי את שיי האבד׃
6 (VUL) et veniens domum convocat amicos et vicinos dicens illis: “Congratulamini mihi, quia inveni ovem meam, quae perierat”.
6 (KAT) a len čo príde domov, zvolá priateľov a susedov a povie im: »Radujte sa so mnou, lebo som našiel ovcu, čo sa mi stratila.«
6 (UKJV) "And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. "

7 (HEM) אני אמר לכם כי כן תהיה שמחה בשמים על חוטא אחד השב יותר מעל תשעים ותשעה צדיקים אשר לא יצטרכו לתשובה׃
7 (VUL) Dico vobis: Ita gaudium erit in caelo super uno peccatore paenitentiam agente quam super nonaginta novem iustis, qui non indigent paenitentia.
7 (KAT) Hovorím vám: Tak bude aj v nebi väčšia radosť nad jedným hriešnikom, ktorý robí pokánie, ako nad deväťdesiatimi deviatimi spravodlivými, ktorí pokánie nepotrebujú.
7 (UKJV) I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

8 (HEM) או מי האשה אשר לה עשרה דרכמונים ואבד לה דרכמון אחד ולא תדליק נר ותטאטא את הבית ותחפש היטב עד כי תמצאהו׃
8 (VUL) Aut quae mulier habens drachmas decem, si perdiderit drachmam unam, nonne accendit lucernam et everrit domum et quaerit diligenter, donec inveniat?
8 (KAT) Alebo ak má žena desať drachiem a jednu drachmu stratí, nezažne lampu, nevymetie dom a nehľadá starostlivo, kým ju nenájde?
8 (UKJV) Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, does not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

9 (HEM) והיה כמצאה אותו תקרא לרעותיה ולשכנותיה לאמר שמחנה אתי כי מצאתי את הדרכמון אשר אבד לי׃
9 (VUL) Et cum invenerit, convocat amicas et vicinas dicens: “Congratulamini mihi, quia inveni drachmam, quam perdideram”.
9 (KAT) A keď ju nájde, zvolá priateľky a susedky a povie: »Radujte sa so mnou, lebo som našla drachmu, čo som stratila.«
9 (UKJV) "And when she has found it, she calls her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. "

10 (HEM) כן אני אמר לכם תהיה שמחה לנפי מלאכי אלהים על חוטא אחד אשר שב מחטאו׃
10 (VUL) Ita dico vobis: Gaudium fit coram angelis Dei super uno peccatore paenitentiam agente ”.
10 (KAT) Hovorím vám: Takú radosť majú Boží anjeli z jedného hriešnika, ktorý robí pokánie.“
10 (UKJV) Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.

11 (HEM) ויאמר איש אחד היו לו שני בנים׃
11 (VUL) Ait autem: “ Homo quidam habebat duos filios.
11 (KAT) A pokračoval: „Istý človek mal dvoch synov.
11 (UKJV) And he said, A certain man had two sons:

12 (HEM) ויאמר הצעיר אל אביו אבי תנה לי את חלק הרכוש אשר יפל לי ויחלק להם את הנחלה׃
12 (VUL) Et dixit adulescentior ex illis patri: “Pater, da mihi portionem substantiae, quae me contingit”. Et divisit illis substantiam.
12 (KAT) Mladší z nich povedal otcovi: »Otec, daj mi časť majetku, ktorá mi patrí.« A on im rozdelil majetok.
12 (UKJV) And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 (HEM) ויהי מקץ ימים ויאסף הבן הצעיר את הכל וילך אל ארץ רחוקה ושם פזר את רכשו וילך בדרך סובאים וזוללים׃
13 (VUL) Et non post multos dies, congregatis omnibus, adulescentior filius peregre profectus est in regionem longinquam et ibi dissipavit substantiam suam vivendo luxuriose.
13 (KAT) O niekoľko dní si mladší syn všetko zobral, odcestoval do ďalekého kraja a tam svoj majetok hýrivým životom premárnil.
13 (UKJV) And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 (HEM) ואחרי כלותו את הכל היה רעב חזק בארץ ההיא ויחל להיות חסר לחם׃
14 (VUL) Et postquam omnia consummasset, facta est fames valida in regione illa, et ipse coepit egere.
14 (KAT) Keď všetko premrhal, nastal v tej krajine veľký hlad a on začal trieť núdzu.
14 (UKJV) "And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in lack. "

15 (HEM) וילך וידבק באחד מבני המדינה בארץ ההיא וישלח אותו אל שדותיו לרעות חזירים׃
15 (VUL) Et abiit et adhaesit uni civium regionis illius, et misit illum in villam suam, ut pasceret porcos;
15 (KAT) Išiel teda a uchytil sa u istého obyvateľa tej krajiny a on ho poslal na svoje hospodárstvo svine pásť.
15 (UKJV) "And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. "

16 (HEM) ויתאו למלא את בטנו בחרובים אשר יאכלו החזירים ואין נתן לו׃
16 (VUL) et cupiebat saturari de siliquis, quas porci manducabant, et nemo illi dabat.
16 (KAT) I túžil nasýtiť sa aspoň strukmi, čo žrali svine, ale nik mu ich nedával.
16 (UKJV) And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

17 (HEM) וישב אל לבו ויאמר מה רבו שכירי אבי ויש להם לחם לשבע ואני אבד ברעב׃
17 (VUL) In se autem reversus dixit: “Quanti mercennarii patris mei abundant panibus, ego autem hic fame pereo.
17 (KAT) Vstúpil teda do seba a povedal si: »Koľko nádenníkov u môjho otca má chleba nazvyš, a ja tu hyniem od hladu.
17 (UKJV) And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 (HEM) אקומה נא ואלכה אל אבי ואמר אליו אבי חטאתי לשמים ולפניך׃
18 (VUL) Surgam et ibo ad patrem meum et dicam illi: Pater, peccavi in caelum et coram te
18 (KAT) Vstanem, pôjdem k svojmu otcovi a poviem mu: Otče, zhrešil som proti nebu i voči tebe.
18 (UKJV) I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before you,

19 (HEM) ונקלתי מהקרא עוד בנך שימני כאשר שכיריך׃
19 (VUL) et iam non sum dignus vocari filius tuus; fac me sicut unum de mercennariis tuis”.
19 (KAT) Už nie som hoden volať sa tvojím synom. Prijmi ma ako jedného zo svojich nádenníkov.«
19 (UKJV) And am no more worthy to be called your son: make me as one of your hired servants.

20 (HEM) ויקם ויבא אל אביו עודנו מרחוק ואביו ראהו ויהמו מעיו וירץ ויפל על צואריו וישקהו׃
20 (VUL) Et surgens venit ad patrem suum. Cum autem adhuc longe esset, vidit illum pater ipsius et misericordia motus est et accurrens cecidit supra collum eius et osculatus est illum.
20 (KAT) I vstal a šiel k svojmu otcovi. Ešte bol ďaleko, keď ho zazrel jeho otec, a bolo mu ho ľúto. Pribehol k nemu, hodil sa mu okolo krku a vybozkával ho.
20 (UKJV) And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 (HEM) ויאמר אליו הבן אבי חטאתי לשמים ולפניך ואני נקלתי מהקרא עוד בנך׃
21 (VUL) Dixitque ei filius: “Pater, peccavi in caelum et coram te; iam non sum dignus vocari filius tuus”.
21 (KAT) Syn mu povedal: »Otče, zhrešil som proti nebu i voči tebe. Už nie som hoden volať sa tvojím synom.«
21 (UKJV) And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight, and am no more worthy to be called your son.

22 (HEM) ויאמר האב אל עבדיו הוציאו את השמלה הטובה מכלן והלבישהו ותנו טבעת על ידו ונעלים ברגליו׃
22 (VUL) Dixit autem pater ad servos suos: “Cito proferte stolam primam et induite illum et date anulum in manum eius et calceamenta in pedes
22 (KAT) Ale otec povedal svojim sluhom: »Rýchlo prineste najlepšie šaty a oblečte ho! Dajte mu prsteň na ruku a obuv na nohy!
22 (UKJV) "But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: "

23 (HEM) והביאו את עגל המרבק וטבחו אתו ונאכלה ונשמח׃
23 (VUL) et adducite vitulum saginatum, occidite et manducemus et epulemur,
23 (KAT) Priveďte vykŕmené teľa a zabite ho. Jedzme a veselo hodujme,
23 (UKJV) "And bring here the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: "

24 (HEM) כי זה בני היה מת ויחי ואובד היה וימצא ויחלו לשמח׃
24 (VUL) quia hic filius meus mortuus erat et revixit, perierat et inventus est”. Et coeperunt epulari.
24 (KAT) lebo tento môj syn bol mŕtvy, a ožil, bol stratený, a našiel sa.« A začali hodovať.
24 (UKJV) "For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. "

25 (HEM) ובנו הגדול היה בשדה ויהי כאשר בא ויקרב אל הבית וישמע קול זמרה ומחלות׃
25 (VUL) Erat autem filius eius senior in agro et, cum veniret et appropinquaret domui, audivit symphoniam et choros
25 (KAT) Jeho starší syn bol práve na poli. Keď sa vracal a približoval sa k domu, počul hudbu a tanec.
25 (UKJV) Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.

26 (HEM) ויקרא אל אחד הנערים וישאל מה זאת׃
26 (VUL) et vocavit unum de servis et interrogavit quae haec essent.
26 (KAT) Zavolal si jedného zo sluhov a pýtal sa, čo sa deje.
26 (UKJV) And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

27 (HEM) ויאמר אליו כי בא אחיך ויטבח אביך את עגל המרבק על אשר הושב לו שלם׃
27 (VUL) Isque dixit illi: “Frater tuus venit, et occidit pater tuus vitulum saginatum, quia salvum illum recepit”.
27 (KAT) Ten mu povedal: »Prišiel tvoj brat a tvoj otec zabil vykŕmené teľa, lebo sa mu vrátil zdravý.«
27 (UKJV) "And he said unto him, Your brother has come; and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound. "

28 (HEM) ויחר לו ולא אבה לבוא הביתה ויצא אביו וידבר על לבו׃
28 (VUL) Indignatus est autem et nolebat introire. Pater ergo illius egressus coepit rogare illum.
28 (KAT) On sa však nahneval a nechcel vojsť. Vyšiel teda otec a začal ho prosiť.
28 (UKJV) And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and implored him.

29 (HEM) ויען ויאמר אל אביו הנה זה שנים רבות אני עבד אתך ומימי לא עברתי את מצותך ומימי לא נתת לי גדי למען אשיש עם רעי׃
29 (VUL) At ille respondens dixit patri suo: “Ecce tot annis servio tibi et numquam mandatum tuum praeterii, et numquam dedisti mihi haedum, ut cum amicis meis epularer;
29 (KAT) Ale on odpovedal otcovi: »Už toľko rokov ti slúžim a nikdy som neprestúpil tvoj príkaz, a mne si nikdy nedal ani kozliatko, aby som sa zabavil so svojimi priateľmi.
29 (UKJV) And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve you, neither transgressed I at any time your commandment: and yet you never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

30 (HEM) ויבא בנך זה אשר בלע את נחלתך עם הזנות ותזבח לו את עגל המרבק׃
30 (VUL) sed postquam filius tuus hic, qui devoravit substantiam tuam cum meretricibus, venit, occidisti illi vitulum saginatum”.
30 (KAT) No keď prišiel tento tvoj syn, čo ti prehýril majetok s neviestkami, pre neho si zabil vykŕmené teľa.«
30 (UKJV) But as soon as this your son was come, which has devoured your living with harlots, you have killed for him the fatted calf.

31 (HEM) ויאמר אליו בני אתה תמיד עמדי וכל אשר לי לך הוא׃
31 (VUL) At ipse dixit illi: “Fili, tu semper mecum es, et omnia mea tua sunt;
31 (KAT) On mu na to povedal: »Syn môj, ty si stále so mnou a všetko, čo ja mám, je tvoje.
31 (UKJV) And he said unto him, Son, you are ever with me, and all that I have is yours.

32 (HEM) אבל נכון לשוש ולשמח כי אחיך זה היה מת ויחי ואבד היה וימצא׃
32 (VUL) epulari autem et gaudere oportebat, quia frater tuus hic mortuus erat et revixit, perierat et inventus est” ”.
32 (KAT) Ale patrilo sa hodovať a radovať sa, lebo tento tvoj brat bol mŕtvy, a ožil, bol stratený, a našiel sa.«“
32 (UKJV) "It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. "
