1 (KAT) Prišli na druhý breh mora do gerazského kraja.
1 (VUL) Et venerunt trans fretum maris in regionem Gerasenorum.
1 (UKJV) And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

2 (KAT) Len čo vystúpil z lode, vyšiel z hrobov oproti nemu človek posadnutý nečistým duchom.
2 (VUL) Et exeunte eo de navi, statim occurrit ei de monumentis homo in spiritu immundo,
2 (UKJV) And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, (o. pneuma)

3 (KAT) Býval v hroboch a nik ho už nemohol zviazať ani reťazami.
3 (VUL) qui domicilium habebat in monumentis; et neque catenis iam quisquam eum poterat ligare,
3 (UKJV) "Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: "

4 (KAT) Lebo často ho sputnali okovami a reťazami, ale on reťaze roztrhal a okovy rozlámal; nik ho nevládal skrotiť.
4 (VUL) quoniam saepe compedibus et catenis vinctus dirupisset catenas et compedes comminuisset, et nemo poterat eum domare;
4 (UKJV) Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

5 (KAT) A stále, v noci i vo dne bol v hroboch a na vrchoch, kričal a tĺkol sa kameňmi.
5 (VUL) et semper nocte ac die in monumentis et in montibus erat clamans et concidens se lapidibus.
5 (UKJV) And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

6 (KAT) Keď v diaľke zbadal Ježiša, pribehol, poklonil sa mu
6 (VUL) Et videns Iesum a longe cucurrit et adoravit eum
6 (UKJV) But when he saw Jesus far off, he ran and worshipped him,

7 (KAT) a skríkol veľkým hlasom: „Čo ťa do mňa, Ježiš, syn najvyššieho Boha?! Zaprisahám ťa na Boha, nemuč ma!“
7 (VUL) et clamans voce magna dicit: “ Quid mihi et tibi, Iesu, fili Dei Altissimi? Adiuro te per Deum, ne me torqueas ”.
7 (UKJV) And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the most high God? I adjure you by God, that you torment me not.

8 (KAT) Lebo Ježiš mu povedal: „Nečistý duch, vyjdi z tohto človeka!“
8 (VUL) Dicebat enim illi: “ Exi, spiritus immunde, ab homine ”.
8 (UKJV) For he said unto him, Come out of the man, you unclean spirit. (o. pneuma)

9 (KAT) A spýtal sa ho: „Ako sa voláš?“ Odpovedal mu: „Volám sa pluk, lebo je nás mnoho.“
9 (VUL) Et interrogabat eum: “ Quod tibi nomen est? ”. Et dicit ei: “ Legio nomen mihi est, quia multi sumus ”.
9 (UKJV) And he asked him, What is your name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

10 (KAT) A veľmi ho prosil, aby ich nevyháňal z toho kraja.
10 (VUL) Et deprecabatur eum multum, ne se expelleret extra regionem.
10 (UKJV) And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

11 (KAT) Na úpätí vrchu sa tam pásla veľká črieda svíň.
11 (VUL) Erat autem ibi circa montem grex porcorum magnus pascens;
11 (UKJV) Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

12 (KAT) Preto ho prosili: „Pošli nás do svíň, nech vojdeme do nich.“
12 (VUL) et deprecati sunt eum dicentes: “ Mitte nos in porcos, ut in eos introeamus ”.
12 (UKJV) And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

13 (KAT) On im to dovolil. Nečistí duchovia teda vyšli a vošli do svíň. A črieda - okolo dvetisíc kusov - sa náramne prudko hnala dolu svahom do mora a v mori sa potopila.

13 (UKJV) "And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits (o. pneuma) went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. "

14 (VUL) Qui autem pascebant eos, fugerunt et nuntiaverunt in civitatem et in agros; et egressi sunt videre quid esset facti.
14 (UKJV) And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.

15 (VUL) Et veniunt ad Iesum; et vident illum, qui a daemonio vexabatur, sedentem, vestitum et sanae mentis, eum qui legionem habuerat, et timuerunt.
15 (UKJV) And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

16 (KAT) Očití svedkovia im rozpovedali, čo sa stalo s tým, čo bol posadnutý zlým duchom, a so sviňami.
16 (VUL) Et qui viderant, narraverunt illis qualiter factum esset ei, qui daemonium habuerat, et de porcis.
16 (UKJV) And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.

17 (VUL) Et rogare eum coeperunt, ut discederet a finibus eorum.
17 (UKJV) And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.

18 (KAT) Keď Ježiš nastupoval na loď, prosil ho ten, ktorého predtým trápil zlý duch, aby smel zostať s ním.
18 (VUL) Cumque ascenderet navem, qui daemonio vexatus fuerat, deprecabatur eum, ut esset cum illo.
18 (UKJV) And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

19 (UKJV) Nevertheless Jesus suffered him not, but says unto him, Go home to your friends, and tell them how great things the Lord has done for you, and has had compassion on you.

20 (KAT) On odišiel a začal v Dekapole rozhlasovať, aké veľké veci mu urobil Ježiš. A všetci sa čudovali.
20 (VUL) Et abiit et coepit praedicare in Decapoli quanta sibi fecisset Iesus, et omnes mirabantur.
20 (UKJV) And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

21 (KAT) Keď sa Ježiš znova preplavil loďou na druhý breh, zišiel sa k nemu veľký zástup a bol pri mori.
21 (VUL) Et cum transcendisset Iesus in navi rursus trans fretum, convenit turba multa ad illum, et erat circa mare.
21 (UKJV) And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

22 (KAT) Tu prišiel jeden z predstavených synagógy menom Jairus, a len čo ho zazrel, padol mu k nohám
22 (VUL) Et venit quidam de archisynagogis nomine Iairus et videns eum procidit ad pedes eius
22 (UKJV) "And, behold, there comes one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, "

23 (KAT) a veľmi ho prosil: „Dcérka mi umiera. Poď, vlož na ňu ruky, aby ozdravela a žila.“
23 (VUL) et deprecatur eum multum dicens: “ Filiola mea in extremis est; veni, impone manus super eam, ut salva sit et vivat ”.
23 (UKJV) "And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death: I pray you, come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. "

24 (KAT) Ježiš odišiel s ním a za ním išiel veľký zástup a tlačil sa na neho.
24 (VUL) Et abiit cum illo. Et sequebatur eum turba multa et comprimebant illum.
24 (UKJV) "And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. "

25 (KAT) Bola tam aj istá žena, ktorá mala dvanásť rokov krvotok.
25 (VUL) Et mulier, quae erat in profluvio sanguinis annis duodecim
25 (UKJV) And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

26 (KAT) Veľa vystála od mnohých lekárov a minula celý majetok, ale nič jej nepomohlo, ba bolo jej vždy horšie.
26 (VUL) et fuerat multa perpessa a compluribus medicis et erogaverat omnia sua nec quidquam profecerat, sed magis deterius habebat,
26 (UKJV) And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing improved, but rather grew worse,

27 (KAT) Keď sa dopočula o Ježišovi, prišla v zástupe zozadu a dotkla sa jeho šiat.
27 (VUL) cum audisset de Iesu, venit in turba retro et tetigit vestimentum eius;
27 (UKJV) When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

28 (KAT) Povedala si totiž: „Ak sa dotknem čo len jeho odevu, ozdraviem.“
28 (VUL) dicebat enim: “ Si vel vestimenta eius tetigero, salva ero ”.
28 (UKJV) For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

29 (KAT) A hneď prestala krvácať a pocítila v tele, že je z choroby vyliečená.
29 (VUL) Et confestim siccatus est fons sanguinis eius, et sensit corpore quod sanata esset a plaga.
29 (UKJV) "And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. "

30 (KAT) Ježiš hneď poznal, že z neho vyšla sila. Obrátil sa k zástupu a spýtal sa: „Kto sa to dotkol mojich šiat?“
30 (VUL) Et statim Iesus cognoscens in semetipso virtutem, quae exierat de eo, conversus ad turbam aiebat: “ Quis tetigit vestimenta mea? ”.
30 (UKJV) And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

31 (KAT) Jeho učeníci mu vraveli: „Vidíš, že sa na teba tlačí zástup, a pýtaš sa: »Kto sa ma dotkol?«“
31 (VUL) Et dicebant ei discipuli sui: “ Vides turbam comprimentem te et dicis: “Quis me tetigit?” ”.
31 (UKJV) And his disciples said unto him, You see the multitude thronging you, and say you, Who touched me?

33 (UKJV) But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

34 (KAT) A on jej povedal: „Dcéra, tvoja viera ťa uzdravila. Choď v pokoji a buď uzdravená zo svojej choroby.“
34 (VUL) Ille autem dixit ei: “ Filia, fides tua te salvam fecit. Vade in pace et esto sana a plaga tua ”.
34 (UKJV) "And he said unto her, Daughter, your faith has made you whole; go in peace, and be whole of your plague. "

35 (KAT) Kým ešte hovoril, prišli z domu predstaveného synagógy a povedali: „Tvoja dcéra umrela; načo ešte unúvaš učiteľa?“
35 (VUL) Adhuc eo loquente, veniunt ab archisynagogo dicentes: “ Filia tua mortua est; quid ultra vexas magistrum? ”.
35 (UKJV) While he yet spoke, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Your daughter is dead: why trouble you the Master any further?

38 (VUL) Et veniunt ad domum archisynagogi; et videt tumultum et flentes et eiulantes multum,
38 (UKJV) And he comes to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and sees the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

39 (KAT) Vošiel dnu a povedal im: „Prečo sa plašíte a nariekate? Dievča neumrelo, ale spí.“
39 (VUL) et ingressus ait eis: “ Quid turbamini et ploratis? Puella non est mortua, sed dormit ”.
39 (UKJV) And when he was come in, he says unto them, Why make all of you this disturbance, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleeps.

40 (UKJV) And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he takes the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and enters in where the damsel was lying.

43 (VUL) Et praecepit illis vehementer, ut nemo id sciret, et dixit dari illi manducare.
