Evanjelium podľa Matúša

Biblia - Sväté písmo

(UKJV - Anglický - Updated King James)

Mt 25, 1-46

1 (UKJV) Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
1 (KAT) Vtedy sa nebeské kráľovstvo bude podobať desiatim pannám, ktoré si vzali lampy a vyšli naproti ženíchovi.

2 (UKJV) And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
2 (KAT) Päť z nich bolo nerozumných a päť múdrych.

3 (UKJV) They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
3 (KAT) Nerozumné si vzali lampy, ale olej si so sebou nevzali.

4 (UKJV) But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
4 (KAT) Múdre si vzali s lampami aj olej do nádob.

5 (UKJV) While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
5 (KAT) Keď ženích neprichádzal, všetkým sa začalo driemať a zaspali.

6 (UKJV) "And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go all of you out to meet him. "
6 (KAT) O polnoci sa strhol krik: »Ženích prichádza, vyjdite mu v ústrety!«

7 (UKJV) Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
7 (KAT) Všetky panny sa prebudili a pripravovali si lampy.

8 (UKJV) "And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. "
8 (KAT) Tu nerozumné panny povedali múdrym: »Dajte nám zo svojho oleja, lebo naše lampy hasnú.«

9 (UKJV) "But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go all of you rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. "
9 (KAT) Ale múdre odvetili: »Aby azda nebolo ani nám, ani vám málo, choďte radšej k predavačom a kúpte si!«

10 (UKJV) "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. "
10 (KAT) No kým išli kupovať olej, prišiel ženích a tie, čo boli pripravené, vošli s ním na svadbu a dvere sa zatvorili.

11 (UKJV) Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
11 (KAT) Napokon prišli aj ostatné panny a vraveli: »Pane, Pane, otvor nám!«

12 (UKJV) But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
12 (KAT) Ale on im povedal: »Veru, hovorím vám: Nepoznám vás.«

13 (UKJV) Watch therefore, for all of you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.
13 (KAT) Preto bdejte, lebo neviete ani dňa, ani hodiny.

14 (UKJV) For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
14 (KAT) Bude to tak, ako keď sa istý človek chystal na cestu. Zavolal si sluhov a zveril im svoj majetok:

15 (UKJV) "And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and immediately took his journey. "
15 (KAT) jednému dal päť talentov, druhému dva a ďalšiemu jeden, každému podľa jeho schopností, a odcestoval.

16 (UKJV) Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
16 (KAT) Ten, čo dostal päť talentov, hneď šiel, obchodoval s nimi a získal ďalších päť.

17 (UKJV) And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
17 (KAT) Podobne aj ten, čo dostal dva, získal ďalšie dva.

18 (UKJV) But he that had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
18 (KAT) Ale ten, čo dostal jeden, šiel, vykopal jamu a peniaze svojho pána ukryl.

19 (UKJV) After a long time the lord of those servants comes, and reckons (o. logos) with them.
19 (KAT) Po dlhom čase sa pán tých sluhov vrátil a začal s nimi účtovať.

20 (UKJV) And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, you delivered unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
20 (KAT) Predstúpil ten, čo dostal päť talentov, priniesol ďalších päť talentov a vravel: »Pane, päť talentov si mi odovzdal a hľa, ďalších päť som získal.«

21 (UKJV) His lord said unto him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.
21 (KAT) Jeho pán mu povedal: »Správne, dobrý a verný sluha; bol si verný nad málom, ustanovím ťa nad mnohým: vojdi do radosti svojho pána.«

22 (UKJV) He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
22 (KAT) Predstúpil ten, čo dostal dva talenty, a vravel: »Pane, dva talenty si mi odovzdal a hľa, získal som ďalšie dva.«

23 (UKJV) "His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord. "
23 (KAT) Jeho pán mu povedal: »Správne, dobrý a verný sluha; bol si verný nad málom, ustanovím ťa nad mnohým: vojdi do radosti svojho pána.«

24 (UKJV) Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you that you are an hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered:
24 (KAT) Predstúpil aj ten, čo dostal jeden talent, a hovoril: »Pane, viem, že si tvrdý človek: žneš, kde si nesial, a zbieraš, kde si nerozsýpal.

25 (UKJV) And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: lo, there you have that is yours.
25 (KAT) Bál som sa, a preto som išiel a ukryl tvoj talent v zemi. Hľa, tu máš, čo je tvoje.«

26 (UKJV) His lord answered and said unto him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not scattered:
26 (KAT) Jeho pán mu povedal: »Zlý a lenivý sluha! Vedel si, že žnem, kde som nesial, a zbieram, kde som nerozsýpal?

27 (UKJV) You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with interest.
27 (KAT) Mal si teda moje peniaze dať peňazomencom a ja by som si bol po návrate vybral, čo je moje, aj s úrokmi.

28 (UKJV) Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which has ten talents.
28 (KAT) Vezmite mu talent a dajte ho tomu, čo má desať talentov.

29 (UKJV) For unto every one that has shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that has not shall be taken away even that which he has.
29 (KAT) Lebo každému, kto má, ešte sa pridá a bude mať hojne. Ale kto nemá, tomu sa vezme aj to, čo má.

30 (UKJV) And cast all of you the useless servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
30 (KAT) A neužitočného sluhu vyhoďte von do tmy; tam bude plač a škrípanie zubami.«

31 (UKJV) When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
31 (KAT) Až príde Syn človeka vo svojej sláve a s ním všetci anjeli, zasadne na trón svojej slávy.

32 (UKJV) And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:
32 (KAT) Vtedy sa pred ním zhromaždia všetky národy a on oddelí jedných od druhých, ako pastier oddeľuje ovce od capov.

33 (UKJV) And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
33 (KAT) Ovce si postaví sprava a capov zľava.

34 (UKJV) Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, all of you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
34 (KAT) Potom Kráľ povie tým, čo budú po jeho pravici: »Poďte, požehnaní môjho Otca, zaujmite kráľovstvo, ktoré je pre vás pripravené od stvorenia sveta.

35 (UKJV) For I was an hungered, and all of you gave me food: I was thirsty, and all of you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and all of you took me in:
35 (KAT) Lebo som bol hladný a dali ste mi jesť; bol som smädný a dali ste mi piť; bol som pocestný a pritúlili ste ma;

36 (UKJV) Naked, and all of you clothed me: I was sick, and all of you visited me: I was in prison, and all of you came unto me.
36 (KAT) bol som nahý a priodeli ste ma; bol som chorý a navštívili ste ma; bol som vo väzení a prišli ste ku mne.«

37 (UKJV) Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, and fed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink?
37 (KAT) Vtedy mu spravodliví povedia: »Pane, a kedy sme ťa videli hladného a nakŕmili sme ťa, alebo smädného a dali sme ti piť?

38 (UKJV) When saw we you a stranger, and took you in? or naked, and clothed you?
38 (KAT) Kedy sme ťa videli ako pocestného a pritúlili sme ťa, alebo nahého a priodeli sme ťa?

39 (UKJV) Or when saw we you sick, or in prison, and came unto you?
39 (KAT) Kedy sme ťa videli chorého alebo vo väzení a prišli sme k tebe?«

40 (UKJV) And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as all of you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, all of you have done it unto me.
40 (KAT) Kráľ im odpovie: »Veru, hovorím vám: Čokoľvek ste urobili jednému z týchto mojich najmenších bratov, mne ste urobili.«

41 (UKJV) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, all of you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
41 (KAT) Potom povie aj tým, čo budú zľava: »Odíďte odo mňa, zlorečení, do večného ohňa, ktorý je pripravený diablovi a jeho anjelom!

42 (UKJV) For I was an hungered, and all of you gave me no food: I was thirsty, and all of you gave me no drink:
42 (KAT) Lebo som bol hladný, a nedali ste mi jesť; bol som smädný, a nedali ste mi piť;

43 (UKJV) I was a stranger, and all of you took me not in: naked, and all of you clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and all of you visited me not.
43 (KAT) bol som pocestný, a nepritúlili ste ma; bol som nahý, a nepriodeli ste ma; bol som chorý a vo väzení, a nenavštívili ste ma.«

44 (UKJV) Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto you?
44 (KAT) Vtedy mu aj oni povedia: »Pane, a kedy sme ťa videli hladného alebo smädného, alebo ako pocestného, alebo nahého, alebo chorého, alebo vo väzení, a neposlúžili sme ti?«

45 (UKJV) Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as all of you did it not to one of the least of these, all of you did it not to me.
45 (KAT) Vtedy im on odpovie: »Veru, hovorím vám: Čokoľvek ste neurobili jednému z týchto najmenších, ani mne ste to neurobili.«

46 (UKJV) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
46 (KAT) A pôjdu títo do večného trápenia, kým spravodliví do večného života.“
