(KJV - Anglický - King James)

Mt 22, 1-46

1 (KJV) And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
1 (ROH) A Ježiš odpovediac opät im hovoril v podobenstvách a povedal:

2 (KJV) The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

3 (KJV) And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
3 (ROH) A poslal svojich sluhov, aby išli povolať pozvaných na svadbu. Ale nechceli prijsť.

4 (KJV) Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
4 (ROH) Opät poslal iných sluhov a povedal: Povedzte pozvaným: Hľa, svoj obed som prichystal, moje voly a krmný dobytok je pobitý, a všetko je hotové; poďte na svadbu!

5 (KJV) But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
5 (ROH) Ale oni nedbali a odišli, ktorý na vlastné pole, ktorý po svojom kupectve,

6 (KJV) And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
6 (ROH) a ostatní schopiac jeho sluhov hanebne ich doriadili a pobili.

7 (KJV) But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
7 (ROH) A keď to počul kráľ, rozhneval sa a poslal svoje vojská a zahubil tých vrahov a ich mesto podpálil.

8 (KJV) Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

9 (KJV) Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
9 (ROH) Teda iďte na rozcestia a všetkých, ktorých najdete, pozvite na svadbu.

10 (KJV) So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
10 (ROH) A tí sluhovia vyšli na cesty a shromaždili všetkých, ktorých našli, zlých i dobrých, a svadobná dvorana sa naplnila hodovníkmi.

11 (KJV) And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
11 (ROH) Ale keď vošiel kráľ podívať sa na hodovníkov, videl tam človeka neodiateho svadobným rúchom,

12 (KJV) And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
12 (ROH) a povedal mu: Priateľu, jako si sem vošiel, nemajúc svadobného rúcha? A on zanemel.

13 (KJV) Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13 (ROH) Vtedy povedal kráľ posluhovačom: Sviažte mu nohy aj ruky a vezmite ho a vyhoďte ho do vonkajšej tmy! Tam bude plač a škrípanie zubami.

14 (KJV) For many are called, but few are chosen.

15 (KJV) Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

16 (KJV) And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
16 (ROH) A poslali k nemu svojich učeníkov s heródiánmi, ktorí mu povedali: Učiteľu, vieme, že si pravdivý a že ceste Božej učíš v pravde a nedbáš na nikoho, lebo nehľadíš na osobu ľudí;

17 (KJV) Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
17 (ROH) povedzže nám tedy, čo sa tebe zdá: či sa má dať cisárovi daň a či nie?

18 (KJV) But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?

19 (KJV) Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
19 (ROH) Ukážte mi daňový peniaz! A oni mu doniesli denár.

20 (KJV) And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

21 (KJV) They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
21 (ROH) A riekli: Cisárov. Vtedy im povedal: Tedy dajte, čo je cisárovo, cisárovi, a čo je Božie, Bohu.

22 (KJV) When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
22 (ROH) A keď to počuli, zadivili sa a zanechajúc ho odišli.

23 (KJV) The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,

24 (KJV) Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
24 (ROH) a riekli: Učiteľu, Mojžiš povedal: Keby niekto zomrel nemajúc detí, nech si jeho brat švagrovským právom vezme jeho ženu a vzbudí svojmu bratovi semeno.

25 (KJV) Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
25 (ROH) Nuž bolo u nás sedem bratov, a prvý oženiac sa zomrel a pretože nemal semena, zanechal svoju ženu svojmu bratovi.

26 (KJV) Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
26 (ROH) Tak podobne aj druhý aj tretí až do siedmeho.

27 (KJV) And last of all the woman died also.

28 (KJV) Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
28 (ROH) Pri zmŕtvychvstaní tedy ktorého z tých siedmich bude ženou, lebo ju všetci mali?

29 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
29 (ROH) A Ježiš odpovedal a riekol im: Blúdite, pretože neznáte písem ani moci Božej;

30 (KJV) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

31 (KJV) But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

32 (KJV) I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
32 (ROH) Ja som Bôh Abrahámov, Bôh Izákov a Bôh Jakobov? Bôh nie je Bohom mŕtvych, ale živých.

33 (KJV) And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
33 (ROH) A keď to počuly zástupy, žasly nad jeho učením.

34 (KJV) But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

35 (KJV) Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
35 (ROH) a jeden z nich, zákonník sa opýtal pokúšajúc ho a povedal:

36 (KJV) Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 (KJV) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
37 (ROH) A Ježiš mu riekol: Milovať budeš Pána, svojeho Boha, celým svojím srdcom, celou svojou dušou a celou svojou mysľou!

38 (KJV) This is the first and great commandment.
38 (ROH) To je to veľké a prvé prikázanie.

39 (KJV) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 (KJV) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
40 (ROH) Na týchto dvoch prikázaniach visí celý zákon i proroci.

41 (KJV) While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
41 (ROH) A keď sa sišli farizeovia, opýtal sa ich Ježiš

42 (KJV) Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David.

43 (KJV) He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
43 (ROH) A povedal im: Ako ho tedy Dávid v Duchu nazýva Pánom, keď hovorí:

44 (KJV) The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
44 (ROH) Pán riekol môjmu Pánovi: Seď po mojej pravici, dokiaľ nepoložím tvojich nepriateľov za podnož tvojich nôh.

45 (KJV) If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

46 (KJV) And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
46 (ROH) A nikto mu nemohol odpovedať ani slova, ani sa ho viacej od toho dňa nikto neopovážil opytovať.

Mt 22,1-14 - "Lk 14, 16–24

Mt 22,23-33 - Mk 12, 18–27; Lk 20, 27–40.

Mt 22,24 - Dt 25, 5.Je to ustanovenie o švagrovskom (levirátskom) manželstve.

Teda jestvuje posmrtný život a vzkriesenie.

Mt 22,34-40 - Mk 12, 28–34; Lk 10, 25–28.

Mt 22,37 - Dt 6, 5.

Mt 22,39 - Lv 19, 18.

Mt 22,41-46 - Mk 12, 35–37; Lk 20, 41–44.

Mt 22,44 - Ž 110, 1.

Mt 22,45 - Odpoveď je jednoduchá. Mesiáš je podľa ľudskej prirodzenosti synom Dávida, podľa božskej prirodzenosti Božím Synom.
