Biblia - Sväté písmo

(KJV - Anglický - King James)

Mt 20, 1-34

1 (KJV) For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
1 (ROH) Lebo nebeské kráľovstvo je podobné človeku-hospodárovi, ktorý vyšiel skoro ráno najať si robotníkov do svojej vinice.

2 (KJV) And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

3 (KJV) And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
3 (ROH) A keď vyšiel okolo tretej hodiny, videl iných stáť na trhu a zaháľať.

4 (KJV) And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
4 (ROH) Aj tým povedal: Iďte aj vy do vinice, a čo bude spravedlivé, dám vám. A oni odišli.

5 (KJV) Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
5 (ROH) Opät vyšiel okolo šiestej a deviatej hodiny a urobil to isté.

6 (KJV) And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
6 (ROH) Potom vyjdúc okolo jedonástej hodiny našiel iných stáť a zaháľať a povedal im: Čo tu stojíte celý deň a zaháľate?

7 (KJV) They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
7 (ROH) Povedali mu: Pretože nás nikto nenajal. A on im povedal: Iďte aj vy do vinice, a čo bude spravedlivé, dostanete.

8 (KJV) So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
8 (ROH) A keď bol večer povedal pán vinice svojmu správcovi: Zavolaj robotníkov a zaplať im počnúc od posledných až po prvých.

9 (KJV) And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
9 (ROH) A keď prišli tí okolo jedonástej hodiny najatí, dostali po denáre.

10 (KJV) But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

11 (KJV) And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
11 (ROH) A keď vzali, reptali proti hospodárovi

12 (KJV) Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
12 (ROH) a hovorili: Títo poslední pracovali jednu hodinu, a učinil si ich rovných nám, ktorí sme niesli bremeno dňa a páľu slnca.

13 (KJV) But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
13 (ROH) Ale on odpovedal a riekol jednému z nich: Priateľu, nekrivdím ti; či si sa nezjednal so mnou za denár?

14 (KJV) Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
14 (ROH) Vezmi, čo je tvoje, a idi! A chcem tomuto poslednému dať ako i tebe.

15 (KJV) Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
15 (ROH) Alebo či nemám práva urobiť so svojím, čo chcem?

16 (KJV) So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
16 (ROH) Tak budú poslední prví a prví poslední; lebo mnoho je povolaných, ale málo vyvolených.

17 (KJV) And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
17 (ROH) A keď išiel Ježiš hore do Jeruzalema, pojal tých dvanástich učeníkov osobitne na ceste a povedal im:

18 (KJV) Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
18 (ROH) Hľa, ideme hore do Jeruzalema, a Syn človeka bude vydaný najvyšším kňazom a zákonníkom, a odsúdia ho na smrť

19 (KJV) And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

20 (KJV) Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

21 (KJV) And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
21 (ROH) A on jej povedal: Čo chceš? A riekla mu: Povedz, aby títo moji dvaja synovia sedeli jeden po tvojom pravom a druhý po tvojom ľavom boku v tvojom kráľovstve.

22 (KJV) But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
22 (ROH) A Ježiš odpovedal a riekol: Neviete, čo si prosíte.

23 (KJV) And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

24 (KJV) And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

25 (KJV) But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
25 (ROH) Ale Ježiš privolajúc si povedal: Viete, že kniežatá národov panujú nad nimi, a velikí medzi nimi prevádzajú nad nimi moc.

26 (KJV) But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
26 (ROH) Nie tak bude medzi vami, ale ktokoľvek by chcel byť medzi vami velikým, bude vaším služobníkom;

27 (KJV) And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
27 (ROH) a ktokoľvek by chcel byť medzi vami prvým, bude vaším sluhom,

28 (KJV) Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

29 (KJV) And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
29 (ROH) A keď vychádzali z Jericha, išiel za ním veliký zástup.

30 (KJV) And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
30 (ROH) A hľa, sedeli tam pri ceste dvaja slepí, ktorí, keď počuli, že tade ide Ježiš, kričali a hovorili: Pane, zmiluj sa nad nami, Synu Dávidov!

31 (KJV) And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
31 (ROH) Ale zástup im dohováral a vravel, aby mlčali, no, oni ešte väčšmi kričali a hovorili: Zmiluj sa nad nami, Pane, Synu Dávidov!

32 (KJV) And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
32 (ROH) A Ježiš postál, zavolal ich a povedal: Čo chcete, aby som vám učinil?

33 (KJV) They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

34 (KJV) So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
34 (ROH) A Ježiš, súc pohnutý ľútosťou, dotknul sa ich očí, a hneď prezreli a išli za ním.
