1 (CPDV) And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
1 (ROH) A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

2 (CPDV) “Speak to Aaron, and you shall say to him: When you place the seven lamps, let the lampstand be set up on the south side. Therefore, give this instruction: that the lamps should look out from the region opposite the north, toward the table of the bread of the presence; they shall give light opposite that area, toward the area that the lampstand 77 faces.”
2 (ROH) Hovor Áronovi a povieš mu: Keď rozsvietiš lampy, do popredia svietnika bude svietiť sedem lámp.

3 (CPDV) And Aaron did so, and he placed the lamps on the lampstand, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
3 (ROH) A Áron učinil tak, do popredia svietnika rozsvietil jeho lampy, tak ako prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi.

4 (CPDV) Now this was the workmanship of the lampstand: it was of ductile gold, both the main shaft and all that originated from both sides of the branches. According to the example that the Lord revealed to Moses, so did he make the lampstand.
4 (ROH) A práca svietnika bola toto: bol z kujného zlata; od svojho drieku až po svoje kvety celý bol z kujného zlata, zhotovený podľa vzoru, ktorý ukázal Hospodin Mojžišovi, taký učinil svietnik.

5 (CPDV) And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
5 (ROH) A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

6 (CPDV) “Take the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and you shall purify them
6 (ROH) Vezmi Levitov zpomedzi synov Izraelových a očisti ich.

7 (CPDV) according to this ritual: Let them be sprinkled with the water of illumination, and let them shave off all the hairs of their body. And when they have washed their garments and have been cleansed,
7 (ROH) A takýmto spôsobom ich očistíš: Pokropíš ich vodou, očisťujúcou od hriechu, a dajú, aby prešla britva po celom ich tele, operú svoje rúcho a tak sa očistia.

8 (CPDV) they shall take an ox from the herd, with its libation of fine wheat flour sprinkled with oil; then you shall receive another ox from the herd for sin.
8 (ROH) A vezmú junca i jeho obilnú obeť, bielu múku jemnú, zamiesenú v oleji, a druhého junca vezmeš na obeť za hriech.

9 (CPDV) And you shall bring forward the Levites before the tabernacle of the covenant, calling together all the multitude of the sons of Israel.
9 (ROH) Potom povieš Levitom, aby pristúpili pred stán shromaždenia, a shromaždíš celú obec synov Izraelových.

10 (CPDV) And when the Levites are before the Lord, the sons of Israel shall place their hands upon them.
10 (ROH) A dovedieš Levitov pred Hospodina, a synovia Izraelovi vzložia svoje ruky na Levitov.

11 (CPDV) And Aaron shall offer the Levites as a gift in the sight of the Lord, from the sons of Israel, so that they may serve in his ministry.
11 (ROH) A Áron bude sem a ta vznášať Levitov obeťou povznášania pred Hospodinom od synov Izraelových a budú nato, aby konali službu Hospodinovu.

12 (CPDV) Likewise, the Levites shall place their hands upon the heads of the oxen; you shall make use of one of these for sin, and the other as a holocaust to the Lord, so that you may intercede for them.
12 (ROH) Na to Levitovia vzložia svoje ruky na hlavu juncom, a ty obetuj jedného obeťou za hriech a druhého zápalnou obeťou Hospodinovi, aby si pokryl hriech na Levitoch.

13 (CPDV) And you shall set the Levites in the sight of Aaron and his sons, and you shall consecrate those being offered to the Lord,
13 (ROH) A postavíš Levitov pred Árona a pred jeho synov a budeš ich sem a ta vznášať obeťou povznášania Hospodinovi.

14 (CPDV) and you shall separate them from the midst of the sons of Israel, so that they may be for me.
14 (ROH) A oddelíš Levitov zprostred synov Izraelových, a tak budú Levitovia moji.

15 (CPDV) And after this, they shall enter the tabernacle of the covenant, in order to serve me. And so shall you purify and consecrate them as an oblation to the Lord. For they were given to me as a gift from the sons of Israel.
15 (ROH) Potom vojdú Levitovia, aby slúžili stánu shromaždenia. A tedy očistíš ich a budeš ich sem a ta vznášať obeťou povznášania,

16 (CPDV) I have accepted them in place of the firstborn which open every womb in Israel.
16 (ROH) lebo mne sú cele daní zpomedzi synov Izraelových namiesto všetkého toho, čo otvára ktorýkoľvek život; za prvorodených všetkých zo synov Izraelových som ich vzal sebe,

17 (CPDV) For all the firstborn of the sons of Israel, as much from men as from beasts, are mine. From the day when I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I have sanctified them to myself.
17 (ROH) lebo moje je všetko prvorodené medzi synmi Izraelovými jako z ľudí tak i z hoviad; toho dňa, ktorého som bil všetko prvorodené v Egyptskej zemi, posvätil som ich sebe.

18 (CPDV) And I have taken the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the sons of Israel.
18 (ROH) A tedy vzal som si Levitov namiesto všetkých prvorodených medzi synmi Izraelovými.

19 (CPDV) And I have delivered them as a gift to Aaron and his sons, from the midst of the people, in order to serve me, for Israel, in the tabernacle of the covenant, and in order to pray for them, lest there be a scourge among the people, if they were to dare to approach to my Sanctuary.”
19 (ROH) A zase ja som dal Levitov za vlastných Áronovi a jeho synom zpomedzi synov Izraelových, aby konali službu miesto synov Izraelových v stáne shromaždenia a aby pokrývali hriech na synoch Izraelových, aby nebolo medzi synmi Izraelovými rany, keď by sa blížili synovia Izraelovi svätyni.

20 (CPDV) And Moses and Aaron, and all the multitude of the sons of Israel, accomplished all that the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Levites.
20 (ROH) A Mojžiš a Áron i celá obec synov Izraelových učinili Levitom všetko tak, ako to prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi o Levitoch, tak im učinili synovia Izraelovi.

21 (CPDV) And they were purified, and they washed their garments. And Aaron lifted them up in the sight of the Lord, and he prayed for them,
21 (ROH) A tak sa očistili Levitovia od hriechu a oprali svoje rúcha, a Áron ich sem a ta vznášal obeťou povznášania pred Hospodinom a pokryl na nich hriech, Áron, aby ich očistil.

22 (CPDV) so that, having been purified, they might enter to their duties in the tabernacle of the covenant before Aaron and his sons. Just as the Lord had instructed Moses about the Levites, so was it done.
22 (ROH) A potom vošli Levitovia, aby konali svoju službu v stáne shromaždenia pred Áronom a pred jeho synmi, tak ako prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi o Levitoch, tak im učinili.

23 (CPDV) And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
23 (ROH) A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

24 (CPDV) “This is the law of the Levites: From twenty-five years and above, they shall enter to minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.
24 (ROH) Ešte toto čo do Levitov: Vo veku od dvadsiateho piateho roku a vyše vojde Levita, aby konal prácu, miesto práce vo vojsku, v službe stánu shromaždenia.

25 (CPDV) And when they will have completed the fiftieth year of age, they shall cease to serve.
25 (ROH) A od päťdesiateho roku veku navráti sa každý od práce tejto služby a nebude viacej slúžiť.

26 (CPDV) And they shall be the ministers of their brothers in the tabernacle of the covenant, in order to care for the things that have been commended to them, but not to perform the works themselves. So shall you assign the Levites in their duties.”
26 (ROH) Ale bude posluhovať svojim bratom v stáne shromaždenia tým, že bude strážiť stráž, ale služby nebude konať. Tak učiníš Levitom v ich strážach.
