1 (UKJV) And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
1 (HEM) וידבר יהוה אל משה ואל אהרן לאמר׃
2 (UKJV) This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD has commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:
2 (HEM) זאת חקת התורה אשר צוה יהוה לאמר דבר אל בני ישראל ויקחו אליך פרה אדמה תמימה אשר אין בה מום אשר לא עלה עליה על׃
3 (UKJV) And all of you shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:
3 (HEM) ונתתם אתה אל אלעזר הכהן והוציא אתה אל מחוץ למחנה ושחט אתה לפניו׃
4 (UKJV) And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:
4 (HEM) ולקח אלעזר הכהן מדמה באצבעו והזה אל נכח פני אהל מועד מדמה שבע פעמים׃
5 (UKJV) "And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: "
5 (HEM) ושרף את הפרה לעיניו את ערה ואת בשרה ואת דמה על פרשה ישרף׃
6 (UKJV) And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.
6 (HEM) ולקח הכהן עץ ארז ואזוב ושני תולעת והשליך אל תוך שרפת הפרה׃
7 (UKJV) Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.
7 (HEM) וכבס בגדיו הכהן ורחץ בשרו במים ואחר יבוא אל המחנה וטמא הכהן עד הערב׃
8 (UKJV) And he that burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
8 (HEM) והשרף אתה יכבס בגדיו במים ורחץ בשרו במים וטמא עד הערב׃
9 (UKJV) And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.
9 (HEM) ואסף איש טהור את אפר הפרה והניח מחוץ למחנה במקום טהור והיתה לעדת בני ישראל למשמרת למי נדה חטאת הוא׃
10 (UKJV) And he that gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourns among them, for a statute for ever.
10 (HEM) וכבס האסף את אפר הפרה את בגדיו וטמא עד הערב והיתה לבני ישראל ולגר הגר בתוכם לחקת עולם׃
11 (UKJV) He that touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
11 (HEM) הנגע במת לכל נפש אדם וטמא שבעת ימים׃
12 (UKJV) He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
12 (HEM) הוא יתחטא בו ביום השלישי וביום השביעי יטהר ואם לא יתחטא ביום השלישי וביום השביעי לא יטהר׃
13 (UKJV) "Whosoever touches the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifies not himself, defiles the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him. "
13 (HEM) כל הנגע במת בנפש האדם אשר ימות ולא יתחטא את משכן יהוה טמא ונכרתה הנפש ההוא מישראל כי מי נדה לא זרק עליו טמא יהיה עוד טמאתו בו׃
14 (UKJV) This is the law, when a man dies in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
14 (HEM) זאת התורה אדם כי ימות באהל כל הבא אל האהל וכל אשר באהל יטמא שבעת ימים׃
15 (UKJV) And every open vessel, which has no covering bound upon it, is unclean.
15 (HEM) וכל כלי פתוח אשר אין צמיד פתיל עליו טמא הוא׃
16 (UKJV) And whosoever touches one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
16 (HEM) וכל אשר יגע על פני השדה בחלל חרב או במת או בעצם אדם או בקבר יטמא שבעת ימים׃
17 (UKJV) And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:
17 (HEM) ולקחו לטמא מעפר שרפת החטאת ונתן עליו מים חיים אל כלי׃
18 (UKJV) And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
18 (HEM) ולקח אזוב וטבל במים איש טהור והזה על האהל ועל כל הכלים ועל הנפשות אשר היו שם ועל הנגע בעצם או בחלל או במת או בקבר׃
19 (UKJV) And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.
19 (HEM) והזה הטהר על הטמא ביום השלישי וביום השביעי וחטאו ביום השביעי וכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטהר בערב׃
20 (UKJV) "But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation has not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean. "
20 (HEM) ואיש אשר יטמא ולא יתחטא ונכרתה הנפש ההוא מתוך הקהל כי את מקדש יהוה טמא מי נדה לא זרק עליו טמא הוא׃
21 (UKJV) "And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkles the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that touches the water of separation shall be unclean until even. "
21 (HEM) והיתה להם לחקת עולם ומזה מי הנדה יכבס בגדיו והנגע במי הנדה יטמא עד הערב׃
22 (UKJV) "And whatsoever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until even. "
22 (HEM) וכל אשר יגע בו הטמא יטמא והנפש הנגעת תטמא עד הערב׃

Verš 11
He that touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
Nm 31:19 - And do all of you abide without the camp seven days: whosoever has killed any person, and whosoever has touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.
Ag 2:13 - Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
Ž 51:7 - Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

And all of you shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:
Heb 13:11 - For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:
Heb 9:13 - For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, santifies to the purifying of the flesh:
Verš 5
"And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: "
Ex 29:14 - But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shall you burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering.
Lv 4:11 - And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,
Nm 19,1 - O prípadoch, keď sa možno poškvrniť, pozri Lv 12 a 15. Najväčším poškvrnením bolo dotknúť sa ľudskej mŕtvoly. Bolo to vari preto, že smrť je následkom hriechu, a preto zobrazovala aj hriech. Nielen dotyk, lež aj blízkosť mŕtvoly poškvrňovala na týždeň. Od poškvrnenia mŕtvolou nebolo sa možno očistiť akoukoľvek vodou, na to sa vyžadovala voda, zmiešaná s popolom červenej jalovice, tzv. očistná voda.Obrad s jalovicou mal vykonať Eleazar, a nie veľkňaz Áron. Poškvrnil by sa dotykom zabitej jalovice (Lv 17,2; 16,26; 21,11). Obrad sa konal mimo tábora na znamenie, že hriech a smrť nemá miesta v tábore. O kropení pozri Lv 4,6.17.
Nm 19,6 - Porov. Lv 14,4.6.49. Ako vidno, jalovica bola skutočne obetou za hriech. Za hriech sa obyčajne obetoval býk (Lv 4,4). Tu sa však prikazuje jalovica, pretože ženské pohlavie je darom života. Značí to teda protiklad smrti.V tom, že jalovicu obetovali mimo tábora, podľa návodu sv. Pavla Otcovia vidia predobraz Ježiša Krista, ktorý trpel a umrel za hriechy ľudstva vonku z mesta, za hradbami (Hebr 13,12). Očistná voda, pomiešaná s popolom z červenej jalovice, je zasa predobraz krstu, pretože táto sviatosť dostáva svoju silu z obety kríža, akoby z krvi Spasiteľovej.
