1 (WLC) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃
1 (VUL) Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen dicens:
1 (UKJV) And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

2 (WLC) עֲשֵׂ֣ה לְךָ֗ שְׁתֵּי֙ חֲצֹֽוצְרֹ֣ת כֶּ֔סֶף מִקְשָׁ֖ה תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑ם וְהָי֤וּ לְךָ֙ לְמִקְרָ֣א הָֽעֵדָ֔ה וּלְמַסַּ֖ע אֶת־הַֽמַּחֲנֹֽות׃
2 (VUL) “ Fac tibi duas tubas argenteas ductiles, quibus convocare possis congregationem, quando movenda sunt castra.
2 (UKJV) "Make you two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shall you make them: that you may use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. "

3 (WLC) וְתָקְע֖וּ בָּהֵ֑ן וְנֹֽועֲד֤וּ אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ כָּל־הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מֹועֵֽד׃
3 (VUL) Cumque increpueris tubis, congregabitur ad te omnis turba ad ostium tabernaculi conventus.
3 (UKJV) And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to you at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

4 (WLC) וְאִם־בְּאַחַ֖ת יִתְקָ֑עוּ וְנֹועֲד֤וּ אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ הַנְּשִׂיאִ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֖י אַלְפֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
4 (VUL) Si semel clangueris, venient ad te principes et capita congregationis Israel;
4 (UKJV) And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto you.

5 (WLC) וּתְקַעְתֶּ֖ם תְּרוּעָ֑ה וְנָֽסְעוּ֙ הַֽמַּחֲנֹ֔ות הַחֹנִ֖ים קֵֽדְמָה׃
5 (VUL) si autem prolixior clangor increpuerit, movebunt castra primi, qui sunt ad orientalem plagam;
5 (UKJV) When all of you blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.

6 (WLC) וּתְקַעְתֶּ֤ם תְּרוּעָה֙ שֵׁנִ֔ית וְנָֽסְעוּ֙ הַֽמַּחֲנֹ֔ות הַחֹנִ֖ים תֵּימָ֑נָה תְּרוּעָ֥ה יִתְקְע֖וּ לְמַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃
6 (VUL) in secundo autem sonitu et pari ululatu tubae levabunt tentoria, qui habitant ad meridiem, et iuxta hunc modum reliqui facient, ululantibus tubis in profectionem.
6 (UKJV) When all of you blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

7 (WLC) וּבְהַקְהִ֖יל אֶת־הַקָּהָ֑ל תִּתְקְע֖וּ וְלֹ֥א תָרִֽיעוּ׃
7 (VUL) Quando autem congregandus est populus, simplex tubarum clangor erit, et non ululabunt.
7 (UKJV) But when the congregation is to be gathered together, all of you shall blow, but all of you shall not sound an alarm.

8 (WLC) וּבְנֵ֤י אַהֲרֹן֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים יִתְקְע֖וּ בַּֽחֲצֹצְרֹ֑ות וְהָי֥וּ לָכֶ֛ם לְחֻקַּ֥ת עֹולָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
8 (VUL) Filii autem Aaron sacerdotes clangent tubis. Eritque hoc vobis legitimum sempiternum in generationibus vestris.
8 (UKJV) "And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations. "

9 (WLC) וְכִֽי־תָבֹ֨אוּ מִלְחָמָ֜ה בְּאַרְצְכֶ֗ם עַל־הַצַּר֙ הַצֹּרֵ֣ר אֶתְכֶ֔ם וַהֲרֵעֹתֶ֖ם בַּחֲצֹצְרֹ֑ות וֲנִזְכַּרְתֶּ֗ם לִפְנֵי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם וְנֹושַׁעְתֶּ֖ם מֵאֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃
9 (VUL) Si exieritis ad bellum in terra vestra contra hostes, qui dimicant adversum vos, clangetis ululantibus tubis; et erit recordatio vestri coram Domino Deo vestro, ut eruamini de manibus inimicorum vestrorum.
9 (UKJV) "And if all of you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then all of you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and all of you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and all of you shall be saved from your enemies. "

10 (WLC) וּבְיֹ֨ום שִׂמְחַתְכֶ֥ם וּֽבְמֹועֲדֵיכֶם֮ וּבְרָאשֵׁ֣י חָדְשֵׁיכֶם֒ וּתְקַעְתֶּ֣ם בַּחֲצֹֽצְרֹ֗ת עַ֚ל עֹלֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וְעַ֖ל זִבְחֵ֣י שַׁלְמֵיכֶ֑ם וְהָי֨וּ לָכֶ֤ם לְזִכָּרֹון֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ פ
10 (VUL) Si quando habebitis epulum et dies festos et calendas, canetis tubis super holocaustis vestris et pacificis victimis, ut sint vobis in recordationem Dei vestri. Ego Dominus Deus vester ”.
10 (UKJV) "Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, all of you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God. "

11 (WLC) וַיְהִ֞י בַּשָּׁנָ֧ה הַשֵּׁנִ֛ית בַּחֹ֥דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֖י בְּעֶשְׂרִ֣ים בַּחֹ֑דֶשׁ נַעֲלָה֙ הֶֽעָנָ֔ן מֵעַ֖ל מִשְׁכַּ֥ן הָעֵדֻֽת׃
11 (VUL) Anno secundo, mense secundo, vicesima die mensis elevata est nubes de habitaculo testimonii;
11 (UKJV) And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

12 (WLC) וַיִּסְע֧וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל לְמַסְעֵיהֶ֖ם מִמִּדְבַּ֣ר סִינָ֑י וַיִּשְׁכֹּ֥ן הֶעָנָ֖ן בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר פָּארָֽן׃
12 (VUL) profectique sunt filii Israel per migrationes suas de deserto Sinai, et recubuit nubes in solitudine Pharan.
12 (UKJV) "And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran. "

13 (WLC) וַיִּסְע֖וּ בָּרִאשֹׁנָ֑ה עַל־פִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃
13 (VUL) Moveruntque castra prima vice, iuxta imperium Domini in manu Moysi.
13 (UKJV) And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

14 (WLC) וַיִּסַּ֞ע דֶּ֣גֶל מַחֲנֵ֧ה בְנֵֽי־יְהוּדָ֛ה בָּרִאשֹׁנָ֖ה לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וְעַל־צְבָאֹ֔ו נַחְשֹׁ֖ון בֶּן־עַמִּינָדָֽב׃
14 (VUL) Elevatum est primum vexillum castrorum filiorum Iudae per turmas suas, quorum princeps erat Naasson filius Aminadab;
14 (UKJV) In the first place went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

15 (WLC) וְעַ֨ל־צְבָ֔א מַטֵּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י יִשָׂשכָ֑ר נְתַנְאֵ֖ל בֶּן־צוּעָֽר׃
15 (VUL) et super turmam tribus filiorum Issachar fuit princeps Nathanael filius Suar;
15 (UKJV) And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

16 (WLC) וְעַ֨ל־צְבָ֔א מַטֵּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י זְבוּלֻ֑ן אֱלִיאָ֖ב בֶּן־חֵלֹֽון׃
16 (VUL) et super turmam tribus Zabulon erat princeps Eliab filius Helon.
16 (UKJV) And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.

17 (WLC) וְהוּרַ֖ד הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן וְנָסְע֤וּ בְנֵֽי־גֵרְשֹׁון֙ וּבְנֵ֣י מְרָרִ֔י נֹשְׂאֵ֖י הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ ס
17 (VUL) Depositumque est habitaculum, quod portantes egressi sunt filii Gerson et Merari.
17 (UKJV) "And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle. "

18 (WLC) וְנָסַ֗ע דֶּ֛גֶל מַחֲנֵ֥ה רְאוּבֵ֖ן לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וְעַל־צְבָאֹ֔ו אֱלִיצ֖וּר בֶּן־שְׁדֵיאֽוּר׃
18 (VUL) Profectum est vexillum castrorum filiorum Ruben per turmas suas, et super turbam suam princeps erat Elisur filius Sedeur.
18 (UKJV) And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.

19 (WLC) וְעַ֨ל־צְבָ֔א מַטֵּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י שִׁמְעֹ֑ון שְׁלֻֽמִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־צוּרִֽי שַׁדָּֽי׃
19 (VUL) Super turmam autem tribus filiorum Simeon princeps fuit Salamiel filius Surisaddai.
19 (UKJV) And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

20 (WLC) וְעַל־צְבָ֖א מַטֵּ֣ה בְנֵי־גָ֑ד אֶלְיָסָ֖ף בֶּן־דְּעוּאֵֽל׃
20 (VUL) Porro super turmam tribus filiorum Gad erat princeps Eliasaph filius Deuel.
20 (UKJV) And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

21 (WLC) וְנָסְעוּ֙ הַקְּהָתִ֔ים נֹשְׂאֵ֖י הַמִּקְדָּ֑שׁ וְהֵקִ֥ימוּ אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן עַד־בֹּאָֽם׃ ס
21 (VUL) Profectique sunt et Caathitae portantes sanctuarium. Et erectum est habitaculum, antequam venirent.
21 (UKJV) And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.

22 (WLC) וְנָסַ֗ע דֶּ֛גֶל מַחֲנֵ֥ה בְנֵֽי־אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וְעַל־צְבָאֹ֔ו אֱלִישָׁמָ֖ע בֶּן־עַמִּיהֽוּד׃
22 (VUL) Elevatum est vexillum castrorum filiorum Ephraim per turmas suas, in quorum exercitu princeps erat Elisama filius Ammiud.
22 (UKJV) And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.

23 (WLC) וְעַ֨ל־צְבָ֔א מַטֵּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה גַּמְלִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־פְּדָה־צֽוּר ׃
23 (VUL) Et super turmam tribus filiorum Manasse princeps fuit Gamaliel filius Phadassur;
23 (UKJV) And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

24 (WLC) וְעַ֨ל־צְבָ֔א מַטֵּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן אֲבִידָ֖ן בֶּן־גִּדְעֹונִֽי׃ ס
24 (VUL) et super turmam tribus filiorum Beniamin erat dux Abidan filius Gedeonis.
24 (UKJV) And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.

25 (WLC) וְנָסַ֗ע דֶּ֚גֶל מַחֲנֵ֣ה בְנֵי־דָ֔ן מְאַסֵּ֥ף לְכָל־הַֽמַּחֲנֹ֖ת לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וְעַל־צְבָאֹ֔ו אֲחִיעֶ֖זֶר בֶּן־עַמִּישַׁדָּֽי ׃
25 (VUL) Novissime elevatum est vexillum castrorum filiorum Dan per turmas suas, in quorum exercitu princeps fuit Ahiezer filius Ammisaddai.
25 (UKJV) And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rear guard of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

26 (WLC) וְעַל־צְבָ֔א מַטֵּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י אָשֵׁ֑ר פַּגְעִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־עָכְרָֽן׃
26 (VUL) Et super turmam tribus filiorum Aser erat princeps Phegiel filius Ochran;
26 (UKJV) And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.

27 (WLC) וְעַ֨ל־צְבָ֔א מַטֵּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י נַפְתָּלִ֑י אֲחִירַ֖ע בֶּן־עֵינָֽן׃
27 (VUL) et super turmam tribus filiorum Nephthali princeps fuit Ahira filius Enan.
27 (UKJV) And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.

28 (WLC) אֵ֛לֶּה מַסְעֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וַיִּסָּֽעוּ׃ ס
28 (VUL) Hae sunt profectiones filiorum Israel per turmas suas, quando egrediebantur.
28 (UKJV) Thus were the journeys of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.

29 (WLC) וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֗ה לְ֠חֹבָב בֶּן־רְעוּאֵ֣ל הַמִּדְיָנִי֮ חֹתֵ֣ן מֹשֶׁה֒ נֹסְעִ֣ים ׀ אֲנַ֗חְנוּ אֶל־הַמָּקֹום֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֹתֹ֖ו אֶתֵּ֣ן לָכֶ֑ם לְכָ֤ה אִתָּ֙נוּ֙ וְהֵטַ֣בְנוּ לָ֔ךְ כִּֽי־יְהוָ֥ה דִּבֶּר־טֹ֖וב עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
29 (VUL) Dixitque Moyses Hobab filio Raguel Madianitae cognato suo: “ Proficiscimur ad locum, quem Dominus daturus est nobis; veni nobiscum, ut benefaciamus tibi, quia Dominus bona promisit Israeli ”.
29 (UKJV) And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come you with us, and we will do you good: for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.

30 (WLC) וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלָ֖יו לֹ֣א אֵלֵ֑ךְ כִּ֧י אִם־אֶל־אַרְצִ֛י וְאֶל־מֹולַדְתִּ֖י אֵלֵֽךְ׃
30 (VUL) Cui ille respondit: “ Non vadam tecum, sed revertar in terram meam, in qua natus sum ”.
30 (UKJV) "And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred. "

31 (WLC) וַיֹּ֕אמֶר אַל־נָ֖א תַּעֲזֹ֣ב אֹתָ֑נוּ כִּ֣י ׀ עַל־כֵּ֣ן יָדַ֗עְתָּ חֲנֹתֵ֙נוּ֙ בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר וְהָיִ֥יתָ לָּ֖נוּ לְעֵינָֽיִם׃
31 (VUL) Et ille: “ Noli, inquit, nos relinquere; tu enim nosti in quibus locis per desertum castra ponere debeamus, et eris ductor noster.
31 (UKJV) "And he said, Leave us not, I pray you; forasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you may be to us instead of eyes. "

32 (WLC) וְהָיָ֖ה כִּי־תֵלֵ֣ךְ עִמָּ֑נוּ וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ הַטֹּ֣וב הַה֗וּא אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֵיטִ֧יב יְהוָ֛ה עִמָּ֖נוּ וְהֵטַ֥בְנוּ לָֽךְ׃
32 (VUL) Cumque nobiscum veneris, quidquid optimum fuerit ex opibus, quas nobis traditurus est Dominus, dabimus tibi ”.
32 (UKJV) And it shall be, if you go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto you.

33 (WLC) וַיִּסְעוּ֙ מֵהַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה דֶּ֖רֶךְ שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֑ים וַאֲרֹ֨ון בְּרִית־יְהוָ֜ה נֹסֵ֣עַ לִפְנֵיהֶ֗ם דֶּ֚רֶךְ שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֔ים לָת֥וּר לָהֶ֖ם מְנוּחָֽה׃
33 (VUL) Profecti sunt ergo de monte Domini viam trium dierum; arcaque foederis Domini praecedebat eos per dies tres providens castrorum locum.
33 (UKJV) And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.

34 (WLC) וַעֲנַ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם יֹומָ֑ם בְּנָסְעָ֖ם מִן־הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃  ס
34 (VUL) Nubes quoque Domini super eos erat per diem, cum incederent.
34 (UKJV) And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.

35 (WLC) וַיְהִ֛י בִּנְסֹ֥עַ הָאָרֹ֖ן וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֑ה קוּמָ֣ה ׀ יְהוָ֗ה וְיָפֻ֙צוּ֙ אֹֽיְבֶ֔יךָ וְיָנֻ֥סוּ מְשַׂנְאֶ֖יךָ מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃
35 (VUL) Cumque elevaretur arca, dicebat Moyses: “ Surge, Domine, et dissipentur inimici tui; et fugiant, qui oderunt te, a facie tua ”.
35 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let your enemies be scattered; and let them that hate you flee before you. "

36 (WLC) וּבְנֻחֹ֖ה יֹאמַ֑ר שׁוּבָ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה רִֽבְבֹ֖ות אַלְפֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃  פ
36 (VUL) Cum autem deponeretur, aiebat: “ Revertere, Domine, ad multitudinem exercitus Israel ”.
36 (UKJV) And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.
