1 (KJV) And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1 (B21) Na Sinajské poušti, prvního dne druhého měsíce druhého roku po jejich odchodu z Egypta, promluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi ve Stanu setkávání:

2 (KJV) Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
2 (B21) "Sečtěte celou izraelskou obec podle jejich rodů a otcovských domů; pořiďte jmenný seznam všech mužů.

3 (KJV) From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
3 (B21) Ty a Áron započtete do jejich oddílů všechny bojeschopné Izraelce od dvaceti let výše.

4 (KJV) And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
4 (B21) Z každého pokolení vám bude pomáhat jeden muž, který je hlavou svého otcovského domu.

5 (KJV) And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
5 (B21) Toto jsou jména mužů, kteří vám budou stát po boku: z Rubena: Elicur, syn Šedeurův,

6 (KJV) Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
6 (B21) ze Šimeona: Šelumiel, syn Curišadajův,

7 (KJV) Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
7 (B21) z Judy: Nachšon, syn Aminadabův,

8 (KJV) Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
8 (B21) z Isachara: Netaneel, syn Cuarův,

9 (KJV) Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.
9 (B21) ze Zabulona: Eliab, syn Chelonův,

10 (KJV) Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
10 (B21) z Josefových synů: z Efraima: Elišama, syn Amihudův, z Manasese: Gamaliel, syn Pedacurův,

11 (KJV) Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.
11 (B21) z Benjamína: Abidan, syn Gideoniho,

12 (KJV) Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
12 (B21) z Dana: Achiezer, syn Amišadajův,

13 (KJV) Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.
13 (B21) z Ašera: Pagiel, syn Okranův,

14 (KJV) Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
14 (B21) z Gáda: Eljasaf, syn Deuelův,

15 (KJV) Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.
15 (B21) z Neftalíma: Achira, syn Enanův.

16 (KJV) These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.
16 (B21) To jsou členové sněmu, vůdcové svých otcovských pokolení, náčelníci izraelských tisíců."

17 (KJV) And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:
17 (B21) Mojžíš s Áronem tedy vzali jmenované muže

18 (KJV) And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.
18 (B21) a prvního dne druhého měsíce shromáždili celou obec ke sčítání podle jejich rodů a otcovských domů. Všichni od dvaceti let výše byli jeden po druhém zahrnuti do jmenného seznamu,

19 (KJV) As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
19 (B21) jak Mojžíšovi přikázal Hospodin. Takto je na Sinajské poušti sečetl

20 (KJV) And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
20 (B21) a tolik jich bylo: Synové Rubena, Izraelova prvorozeného, podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů, uvedení ve jmenném seznamu všech bojeschopných mužů od dvaceti let výše:

21 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
21 (B21) pokolení Ruben čítalo 46 500 mužů.

22 (KJV) Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
22 (B21) Synové Šimeona podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů, uvedení ve jmenném seznamu všech bojeschopných mužů od dvaceti let výše:

23 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
23 (B21) pokolení Šimeon čítalo 59 300 mužů.

24 (KJV) Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
24 (B21) Synové Gáda podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

25 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
25 (B21) pokolení Gád čítalo 45 650 mužů.

26 (KJV) Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
26 (B21) Synové Judy podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

27 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
27 (B21) pokolení Juda čítalo 74 600 mužů.

28 (KJV) Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
28 (B21) Synové Isachara podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

29 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
29 (B21) pokolení Isachar čítalo 54 400 mužů.

30 (KJV) Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
30 (B21) Synové Zabulona podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

31 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
31 (B21) pokolení Zabulon čítalo 57 400 mužů.

32 (KJV) Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
32 (B21) Synové Josefovi: Synové Efraimovi podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

33 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.
33 (B21) pokolení Efraim čítalo 40 500 mužů.

34 (KJV) Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
34 (B21) Synové Manasesovi podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

35 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
35 (B21) pokolení Manases čítalo 32 200 mužů.

36 (KJV) Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
36 (B21) Synové Benjamínovi podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

37 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
37 (B21) pokolení Benjamín čítalo 35 400 mužů.

38 (KJV) Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
38 (B21) Synové Danovi podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

39 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
39 (B21) pokolení Dan čítalo 62 700 mužů.

40 (KJV) Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
40 (B21) Synové Ašerovi podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

41 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
41 (B21) pokolení Ašer čítalo 41 500 mužů.

42 (KJV) Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
42 (B21) Synové Neftalímovi podle jejich pokolení, rodů a otcovských domů ve jmenném seznamu, všichni bojeschopní od dvaceti let výše:

43 (KJV) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
43 (B21) pokolení Neftalí čítalo 53 400 mužů.

44 (KJV) These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
44 (B21) Toto jsou počty těch, které Mojžíš s Áronem a s dvanácti izraelskými vůdci sečetl, po jednom z každého otcovského domu.

45 (KJV) So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;
45 (B21) Celkový počet všech bojeschopných Izraelitů od dvaceti let výše, započtených podle jejich otcovských domů:

46 (KJV) Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
46 (B21) Úhrnem bylo sečteno 603 550 mužů.

47 (KJV) But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
47 (B21) Mezi ně však nebyli podle svých otcovských pokolení započteni levité.

48 (KJV) For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,
48 (B21) Hospodin promluvil k Mojžíšovi:

49 (KJV) Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
49 (B21) "Pokolení Levi nesčítej, nezahrnuj je do počtu synů Izraele.

50 (KJV) But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
50 (B21) Levitům svěříš Příbytek svědectví, veškeré jeho vybavení i vše, co k němu náleží. Oni budou Příbytek s veškerým jeho vybavením nosit, budou při něm sloužit a kolem Příbytku budou tábořit.

51 (KJV) And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
51 (B21) Když se bude Příbytek chystat na cestu, levité jej složí; když se bude Příbytek chystat k táboření, levité jej vztyčí. Nepovolaný, jenž by se přiblížil, však zemře.

52 (KJV) And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
52 (B21) Synové Izraele budou tábořit po svých uskupeních, každý při svém praporu, po svých oddílech.

53 (KJV) But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
53 (B21) Levité však budou tábořit kolem Příbytku svědectví, aby obec synů Izraele nestihl hrozný hněv; proto budou levité držet stráž u Příbytku svědectví."

54 (KJV) And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
54 (B21) A synové Izraele udělali všechno přesně tak, jak Hospodin Mojžíšovi přikázal.
