1 (HEM) ועתה אליכם המצוה הזאת הכהנים׃
1 (VUL) Et nunc ad vos mandatum hoc, o sacerdotes.
1 (KAT) Teraz však, kňazi, vám platí toto rozhodnutie.
1 (UKJV) And now, O all of you priests, this commandment is for you.

2 (HEM) אם לא תשמעו ואם לא תשימו על לב לתת כבוד לשמי אמר יהוה צבאות ושלחתי בכם את המארה וארותי את ברכותיכם וגם ארותיה כי אינכם שמים על לב׃
2 (VUL) Si nolueritis audi re et si nolueritis ponere super cor, ut detis gloriam nomini meo, ait Dominus exercituum, mittam in vos maledictionem et maledicam benedictionibus vestris; et maledicam illis, quoniam non posuistis super cor.
2 (KAT) Ak neposlúchnete, ak nebudete dbať o to a nevezmete si k srdcu, že máte vzdať česť môjmu menu - hovorí Pán zástupov, zošlem na vás kliatbu a prekľajem vaše žehnanie. A už som ho preklial, lebo ste si to nevzali k srdcu.
2 (UKJV) If all of you will not hear, and if all of you will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, says the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because all of you do not lay it to heart.

3 (HEM) הנני גער לכם את הזרע וזריתי פרש על פניכם פרש חגיכם ונשא אתכם אליו׃
3 (VUL) Ecce ego abscindam vobis brachium et dispergam stercus super vultum vestrum, stercus sollemnitatum vestrarum, et assumet vos secum;
3 (KAT) Hľa, odtnem vám rameno, vrhnem vám do tváre hnoj - hnoj vašich sviatkov - a ten vás strhne k sebe.
3 (UKJV) "Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. "

4 (HEM) וידעתם כי שלחתי אליכם את המצוה הזאת להיות בריתי את לוי אמר יהוה צבאות׃
4 (VUL) et scietis quia misi ad vos mandatum istud, ut esset pactum meum cum Levi, dicit Dominus exercituum.

4 (UKJV) And all of you shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, says the LORD of hosts.

5 (HEM) בריתי היתה אתו החיים והשלום ואתנם לו מורא וייראני ומפני שמי נחת הוא׃
5 (VUL) Pactum meum fuit cum eo vitae et pacis, et dedi haec ei simul cum timore, et timuit me et a facie nominis mei pavebat.
5 (KAT) Moja zmluva s ním bola život a pokoj; dal som mu ich teda i bázeň, a on sa ma bál a chvel sa pred mojím menom.
5 (UKJV) "My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. "

6 (HEM) תורת אמת היתה בפיהו ועולה לא נמצא בשפתיו בשלום ובמישור הלך אתי ורבים השיב מעון׃
6 (VUL) Lex veritatis fuit in ore eius, et iniquitas non est inventa in labiis eius; in pace et in aequitate ambulavit mecum et multos avertit ab iniquitate.
6 (KAT) Zákon pravdy bol v jeho ústach a na jeho perách sa nenašla neprávosť, pokojne a priamo kráčal so mnou a mnohých odvrátil od hriechu.
6 (UKJV) The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

7 (HEM) כי שפתי כהן ישמרו דעת ותורה יבקשו מפיהו כי מלאך יהוה צבאות הוא׃
7 (VUL) Labia enim sacerdotis custodiunt scientiam, et legem requirunt ex ore eius, quia angelus Domini exercituum est.
7 (KAT) Lebo pery kňaza majú zachovávať poznanie a z jeho úst sa vyhľadáva zákon, lebo je poslom Pána zástupov.
7 (UKJV) For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

8 (HEM) ואתם סרתם מן הדרך הכשלתם רבים בתורה שחתם ברית הלוי אמר יהוה צבאות׃
8 (VUL) Vos autem recessistis de via et scandalizastis plurimos in lege; irritum fecistis pactum Levi, dicit Dominus exercituum;
8 (KAT) Vy však ste sa odchýlili od cesty a mnohých ste urobili kolísavými v zákone; skazili ste zmluvu s Lévim, hovorí Pán zástupov.
8 (UKJV) "But all of you are departed out of the way; all of you have caused many to stumble at the law; all of you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts. "

9 (HEM) וגם אני נתתי אתכם נבזים ושפלים לכל העם כפי אשר אינכם שמרים את דרכי ונשאים פנים בתורה׃
9 (VUL) propter quod et ego dedi vos contemptibiles et humiles omnibus populis, sicut non servastis vias meas et accepistis personam in lege.
9 (KAT) Nuž aj ja vás urobím opovrhnutými a podlými pred všetkým ľudom, pretože ste nezachovávali moje cesty a robili ste v zákone výnimky.
9 (UKJV) Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as all of you have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

10 (HEM) הלוא אב אחד לכלנו הלוא אל אחד בראנו מדוע נבגד איש באחיו לחלל ברית אבתינו׃
10 (VUL) Numquid non pater unus omnium nostrum? Numquid non Deus unus creavit nos? Quare ergo dolum facit unusquisque nostrum cum fratre suo, violans pactum patrum nostrorum?
10 (KAT) Či nemáme všetci jedného otca? Či nás nestvoril jeden Boh? Prečo ste si navzájom neverní, že znesväcujete zmluvu vašich otcov?
10 (UKJV) Have we not all one father? has not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

11 (HEM) בגדה יהודה ותועבה נעשתה בישראל ובירושלם כי חלל יהודה קדש יהוה אשר אהב ובעל בת אל נכר׃
11 (VUL) Dolum fecit Iuda, et abominatio facta est in Israel et in Ierusalem, quia contaminavit Iuda sanctuarium Domini, quod diligit, et accepit uxorem filiam dei alieni.
11 (KAT) Spreneveril sa Júda, ohavnosť sa stala v Izraeli a Jeruzaleme, lebo Júda znesvätil Pánovu svätyňu, ktorú miloval, a vzal si dcéru cudzieho boha.
11 (UKJV) "Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and has married the daughter of a strange god. "

12 (HEM) יכרת יהוה לאיש אשר יעשנה ער וענה מאהלי יעקב ומגיש מנחה ליהוה צבאות׃
12 (VUL) Disperdet Dominus virum, qui fecerit hoc, filium et nepotem, de tabernaculis Iacob et de offerentibus munus Domino exercituum.
12 (KAT) Nech vyhubí Pán svedka a ručiteľa z Jakubových stánkov mužovi, ktorý to urobil a (pritom) prináša obetu Pánovi zástupov.
12 (UKJV) The LORD will cut off the man that does this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offers an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

13 (HEM) וזאת שנית תעשו כסות דמעה את מזבח יהוה בכי ואנקה מאין עוד פנות אל המנחה ולקחת רצון מידכם׃
13 (VUL) Et hoc rursum facitis: operitis lacrimis altare Domini, fletu et mugitu, ita ut non respiciam ultra ad sacrificium nec accipiam placabile quid de manu vestra;
13 (KAT) I túto druhú vec robíte: Pokrývate Pánov oltár slzami, plačom a vzdychaním, takže sa viac neobracia k obete a neprijíma zavďačenie z vašich rúk.
13 (UKJV) And this have all of you done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regards not the offering any more, or receives it with good will at your hand.

14 (HEM) ואמרתם על מה על כי יהוה העיד בינך ובין אשת נעוריך אשר אתה בגדתה בה והיא חברתך ואשת בריתך׃
14 (VUL) et dicitis: “Quam ob causam?”. Quia Dominus testificatus est inter te et uxorem adulescentiae tuae, cui tu factus es infidelis; et haec particeps tua et uxor foederis tui.
14 (KAT) A spytujete sa: »Prečo?« - Preto, že Pán je svedkom medzi tebou a medzi manželkou tvojej mladosti, ktorej si sa spreneveril, hoci je ona tvoja spoločnica a zmluvná manželka.
14 (UKJV) Yet all of you say, Wherefore? Because the LORD has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously: yet is she your companion, and the wife of your covenant.

15 (HEM) ולא אחד עשה ושאר רוח לו ומה האחד מבקש זרע אלהים ונשמרתם ברוחכם ובאשת נעוריך אל יבגד׃
15 (VUL) Nonne unitatem fecit carnis et spiritus? Et quid unitas quaerit nisi semen a Deo? Custodite ergo spiritum vestrum; et uxori adulescentiae tuae noli esse infidelis.
15 (KAT) Či ich neutvoril jeden, keď mu zvýšilo ducha? A čo chce ten jeden? Božie semeno! Nuž chráňte si ducha a nespreneveruj sa manželke svojej mladosti!
15 (UKJV) And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

16 (HEM) כי שנא שלח אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל וכסה חמס על לבושו אמר יהוה צבאות ונשמרתם ברוחכם ולא תבגדו׃
16 (VUL) Si quis odio dimittit, dicit Dominus, Deus Israel, operit iniquitas vestimentum eius, dicit Dominus exercituum. Custodite spiritum vestrum et nolite esse infideles.
16 (KAT) Ak niekto prepúšťa z nenávisti, hovorí Pán, Boh Izraela, pokrýva si násilenstvom rúcho - hovorí Pán zástupov. Chráňte si teda ducha a nespreneverujte sa!
16 (UKJV) For the LORD, the God of Israel, says that he hates putting away: for one covers violence with his garment, says the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that all of you deal not treacherously.

17 (HEM) הוגעתם יהוה בדבריכם ואמרתם במה הוגענו באמרכם כל עשה רע טוב בעיני יהוה ובהם הוא חפץ או איה אלהי המשפט׃
17 (VUL) Laborare facitis Dominum in sermonibus vestris et dicitis: “In quo eum facimus laborare?”. In eo quod dicitis: “Omnis, qui facit malum, bonus est in conspectu Domini, et tales ei placent” aut: “Ubi est Deus iudicii?”.
17 (KAT) Obťažujete Pána svojimi rečami a spytujete sa: »Čímže obťažujeme?« Keď hovoríte: »Každý, aj kto pácha zlo, je príjemný v očiach Pánových a v takých má on záľubu.« Alebo: »Kdeže je Boh, ktorý súdi?«
17 (UKJV) "All of you have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet all of you say, Wherein have we wearied him? When all of you say, Every one that does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? "
