Kniha proroka Zachariáša

1 (KJV) Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril (k Zachariášovi) takto:

2 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
2 (KAT) „Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Horlím za Sion veľkou horlivosťou a veľkým hnevom zaň horlím.

3 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
3 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán (zástupov): Vrátim sa na Sion a budem bývať uprostred Jeruzalema. Vtedy sa Jeruzalem bude volať Verné mesto a vrch Pána zástupov Svätý vrch.

4 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
4 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Ešte budú po uliciach Jeruzalema sedieť starci a starenky a ľudia, ktorí majú pre vysoký vek v ruke palicu.

5 (KJV) And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.
5 (KAT) A ulice mesta budú plné chlapcov a dievčat, ktorí sa budú hrať na jeho uliciach.

6 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.
6 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Aj keď to bude zázračné v očiach zvyškov tohto ľudu, bude to vari zázračné aj v mojich očiach? - hovorí Pán zástupov.

7 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
7 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Hľa, ja zachránim svoj ľud z krajiny východu a z krajiny západu slnka

8 (KJV) And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
8 (KAT) a privediem ich, takže budú bývať v Jeruzaleme; budú mojím ľudom a ja budem ich Bohom v pravde a spravodlivosti.

9 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
9 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Majte pevné ruky, ktorí v týchto dňoch počúvate tieto slová z úst prorokov, čo boli v deň, keď sa založil dom Pána zástupov, chrám, aby sa postavil.

10 (KJV) For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.
10 (KAT) Lebo pred tými dňami nebolo pre človeka mzdy a nebolo mzdy pre zviera; kto odchádzal alebo prichádzal, nemal pokoja od nepriateľov: poslal som všetkých ľudí navzájom proti sebe.

11 (KJV) But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.
11 (KAT) Teraz však nebudem k zvyškom tohto ľudu ako za predošlých dní - hovorí Pán zástupov.

12 (KJV) For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
12 (KAT) Jeho siatie bude šťastné, vinič dá svoje ovocie, zem vydá svoju úrodu a nebesá dajú svoju rosu a toto všetko dám do imania zvyškom tohto ľudu.

13 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.
13 (KAT) A ako ste boli kliatbou medzi národmi, dom Júdov a dom Izraelov, tak vás vyslobodím a budete požehnaním; nebojte sa, majte pevné ruky!

14 (KJV) For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:
14 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Ako som zamýšľal robiť vám zlo, keď ma vaši otcovia hnevali - hovorí Pán zástupov -, a nezľutoval som sa,

15 (KJV) So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
15 (KAT) tak budem v tých dňoch zasa zamýšľať robiť dobre Jeruzalemu a Júdovmu domu; nebojte sa!

16 (KJV) These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
16 (KAT) Ale toto sú príkazy, ktoré máte zachovávať: Hovorte každý pravdu svojmu blížnemu, majte naozaj spravodlivé súdy vo svojich bránach;

17 (KJV) And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
17 (KAT) nech nik nezamýšľa vo svojom srdci zlo proti svojmu blížnemu a nemilujte krivú prísahu, lebo toto všetko sú veci, ktoré nenávidím“ - hovorí Pán.

18 (KJV) And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying,
18 (KAT) A Pán zástupov prehovoril ku mne takto:

19 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
19 (KAT) „Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Pôst štvrtého, pôst piateho, pôst siedmeho a pôst desiateho (mesiaca) bude pre Júdov dom plesaním, radosťou a veselou slávnosťou. Milujte však pravdu a pokoj!

20 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
20 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Ešte prídu národy a obyvatelia veľkých miest

21 (KJV) And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.
21 (KAT) a pôjdu obyvatelia jedného (mesta) do druhého a povedia: »Zoberme sa, poďme udobriť Pánovu tvár a hľadať Pána zástupov; pôjdem aj ja!«

22 (KJV) Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.
22 (KAT) Pôjdu teda veľké kmene a mocné národy hľadať Pána zástupov do Jeruzalema a udobriť Pánovu tvár.

23 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
23 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: V tých dňoch sa chopí desať mužov z národov všetkých jazykov, chopia sa okraja odevu júdskeho muža a povedia: »Pôjdeme s vami, lebo sme počuli, že s vami je Boh.«“
