Kniha proroka Zachariáša

1 (HEM) ואשוב ואשא עיני ואראה והנה מגלה עפה׃
1 (UKJV) Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

2 (HEM) ויאמר אלי מה אתה ראה ואמר אני ראה מגלה עפה ארכה עשרים באמה ורחבה עשר באמה׃
2 (UKJV) "And he said unto me, What see you? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. "

3 (HEM) ויאמר אלי זאת האלה היוצאת על פני כל הארץ כי כל הגנב מזה כמוה נקה וכל הנשבע מזה כמוה נקה׃
3 (UKJV) "Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that steals shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that swears shall be cut off as on that side according to it. "

4 (HEM) הוצאתיה נאם יהוה צבאות ובאה אל בית הגנב ואל בית הנשבע בשמי לשקר ולנה בתוך ביתו וכלתו ואת עציו ואת אבניו׃
4 (UKJV) I will bring it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that swears falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

5 (HEM) ויצא המלאך הדבר בי ויאמר אלי שא נא עיניך וראה מה היוצאת הזאת׃
5 (UKJV) Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that goes forth.

6 (HEM) ואמר מה היא ויאמר זאת האיפה היוצאת ויאמר זאת עינם בכל הארץ׃
6 (UKJV) And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goes forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

7 (HEM) והנה ככר עפרת נשאת וזאת אשה אחת יושבת בתוך האיפה׃
7 (UKJV) And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sits in the midst of the ephah.

8 (HEM) ויאמר זאת הרשעה וישלך אתה אל תוך האיפה וישלך את אבן העפרת אל פיה׃
8 (UKJV) "And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. "

9 (HEM) ואשא עיני וארא והנה שתים נשים יוצאות ורוח בכנפיהם ולהנה כנפים ככנפי החסידה ותשאנה את האיפה בין הארץ ובין השמים׃
9 (UKJV) "Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. "

10 (HEM) ואמר אל המלאך הדבר בי אנה המה מולכות את האיפה׃
10 (UKJV) Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Where do these bear the ephah?

11 (HEM) ויאמר אלי לבנות לה בית בארץ שנער והוכן והניחה שם על מכנתה׃
11 (UKJV) And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
