Kniha proroka Zachariáša

1 (UKJV) Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.
1 (KAT) A znovu som zdvihol oči, pozrel som sa a, hľa, letel zvitok.

2 (UKJV) "And he said unto me, What see you? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. "
2 (KAT) I spýtal sa ma: „Čo vidíš?“ Odpovedal som: „Vidím letieť zvitok; jeho dĺžka je dvadsať lakťov, šírka desať lakťov.“

3 (UKJV) "Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that steals shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that swears shall be cut off as on that side according to it. "
3 (KAT) A riekol mi: „Toto je kliatba, ktorá vychádza na celú zem. Lebo každý zlodej, ako je to na ňom na jednej strane, bude odstránený; a každý, kto prisahá, ako je to na ňom na druhej strane, bude odstránený.

4 (UKJV) I will bring it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that swears falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
4 (KAT) Vyvediem ju - hovorí Pán zástupov -, pôjde do domu zlodeja a do domu toho, čo krivo prisahá v mojom mene, usadí sa v jeho dome a zničí ho, i jeho trámy a jeho kamene.“

5 (UKJV) Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that goes forth.
5 (KAT) Tu predstúpil anjel, ktorý vo mne hovoril, a riekol mi: „Zdvihni oči a pozri, čo je to, čo vystupuje!“

6 (UKJV) And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goes forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.
6 (KAT) I spýtal som sa: „Čo je to?“ Odpovedal: „To je efa, ktorá vystupuje;“ a dodal: „Toto je ich výzor v celej krajine.“

7 (UKJV) And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sits in the midst of the ephah.
7 (KAT) Vtom, hľa, zdvihla sa olovená pokrývka a prostred efy sedela akási žena.

8 (UKJV) "And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. "
8 (KAT) I povedal: „Toto je bezbožnosť.“ Sotil ju doprostred efy a na jej otvor položil olovenú pokrývku.

9 (UKJV) "Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. "
9 (KAT) Potom som zdvihol oči, pozrel som sa a, hľa, predstupovali dve ženy, krídla im nadúval vietor - mali totiž krídla podobné krídlam bociana - a zdvihli efu medzi zem a nebo.

10 (UKJV) Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Where do these bear the ephah?
10 (KAT) I spýtal som sa anjela, ktorý vo mne hovoril: „Kde tieto nesú efu?“

11 (UKJV) And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
11 (KAT) Odpovedal mi: „Chcú jej postaviť dom v krajine Senaár. Keď ho dostavajú, položia ju tam na jej podstavec.“
