Kniha proroka Zachariáša

1 (KAT) Potom ma anjel, ktorý vo mne hovoril, zasa zobudil ako človeka, ktorého zobudia zo sna.
1 (UKJV) And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

2 (KAT) I spýtal sa ma: „Čo vidíš?“ Odpovedal som: „Vidím svietnik celý zo zlata; na hlavici má nádrž; je na ňom sedem lámp a lampy, ktoré sú na hlavici, majú sedem lievikov.
2 (UKJV) And said unto me, What see you? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

3 (KAT) Pri ňom sú dve olivy, jedna napravo od nádrže a druhá naľavo.“
3 (UKJV) And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

4 (KAT) Ozval som sa a povedal som anjelovi, ktorý vo mne hovoril: „Čo je toto, môj pane?“
4 (UKJV) So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

5 (KAT) Anjel, ktorý vo mne hovoril, odpovedal mi: „Nevieš, čo je to?“ Povedal som: „Nie, môj pane.“
5 (UKJV) Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Know you not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

6 (KAT) Odvetil mi: „To je Pánovo slovo Zorobábelovi: Nie silou a nie mocou, ale mojím duchom! - hovorí Pán zástupov.
6 (UKJV) Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts.

7 (KAT) Kto si ty, veľký vrch? Pred Zorobábelom (si) rovina! A vyvedie záhlavný kameň s výkrikmi: »Sláva, sláva mu!«“
7 (UKJV) Who are you, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

8 (KAT) A Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
8 (UKJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

9 (KAT) „Zorobábelove ruky založili tento dom a jeho ruky ho dokončia, i budeš vedieť, že ma k vám poslal Pán zástupov.
9 (UKJV) "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me unto you. "

10 (KAT) Lebo tí, čo opovrhujú dňom malých vecí, budú sa radovať, keď uvidia v Zorobábelovej ruke kameň a olovnicu. - Tých sedem, to sú Pánove oči, ktoré obchádzajú celú zem.“
10 (UKJV) "For who has despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run back and forth through the whole earth. "

11 (KAT) Ozval som sa a riekol som mu: „Čo sú tie dve olivy napravo a naľavo od svietnika?“
11 (UKJV) Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

12 (KAT) Opäť som sa ozval a spýtal som sa ho: „Čo sú dve olivové ratolesti, ktoré dvoma zlatými rúrkami vyprázdňujú zo seba zlato?“ Odvetil mi toto: „Nevieš, čo je to?“ Riekol som: „Nie, môj pane.“
12 (UKJV) And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

13 (KAT) I riekol: „To sú dvaja synovia oleja, ktorí stoja pred Pánom celej zeme.“
13 (UKJV) And he answered me and said, Know you not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

14 ----
14 (UKJV) Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.
