Za 3, 1-10

1 (HEM) ויראני את יהושע הכהן הגדול עמד לפני מלאך יהוה והשטן עמד על ימינו לשטנו׃
1 (UKJV) And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

2 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל השטן יגער יהוה בך השטן ויגער יהוה בך הבחר בירושלם הלוא זה אוד מצל מאש׃
2 (UKJV) "And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke you, O Satan; even the LORD that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? "

3 (HEM) ויהושע היה לבש בגדים צואים ועמד לפני המלאך׃
3 (UKJV) Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

4 (HEM) ויען ויאמר אל העמדים לפניו לאמר הסירו הבגדים הצאים מעליו ויאמר אליו ראה העברתי מעליך עונך והלבש אתך מחלצות׃
4 (UKJV) And he answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with change of raiment.

5 (HEM) ואמר ישימו צניף טהור על ראשו וישימו הצניף הטהור על ראשו וילבשהו בגדים ומלאך יהוה עמד׃
5 (UKJV) And I said, Let them set a fair turban upon his head. So they set a fair turban upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.

6 (HEM) ויעד מלאך יהוה ביהושע לאמר׃
6 (UKJV) And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,

7 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה צבאות אם בדרכי תלך ואם את משמרתי תשמר וגם אתה תדין את ביתי וגם תשמר את חצרי ונתתי לך מהלכים בין העמדים האלה׃
7 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD of hosts; If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by. "

8 (HEM) שמע נא יהושע הכהן הגדול אתה ורעיך הישבים לפניך כי אנשי מופת המה כי הנני מביא את עבדי צמח׃
8 (UKJV) Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you, and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

9 (HEM) כי הנה האבן אשר נתתי לפני יהושע על אבן אחת שבעה עינים הנני מפתח פתחה נאם יהוה צבאות ומשתי את עון הארץ ההיא ביום אחד׃
9 (UKJV) "For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, says the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. "

10 (HEM) ביום ההוא נאם יהוה צבאות תקראו איש לרעהו אל תחת גפן ואל תחת תאנה׃
10 (UKJV) In that day, says the LORD of hosts, shall all of you call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

Verš 8

שמע נא יהושע הכהן הגדול אתה ורעיך הישבים לפניך כי אנשי מופת המה כי הנני מביא את עבדי צמח׃

Iz 4:2 - ביום ההוא יהיה צמח יהוה לצבי ולכבוד ופרי הארץ לגאון ולתפארת לפליטת ישראל׃

Iz 11:1 - ויצא חטר מגזע ישי ונצר משרשיו יפרה׃

Jer 23:5 - הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה והקמתי לדוד צמח צדיק ומלך מלך והשכיל ועשה משפט וצדקה בארץ׃

Jer 33:15 - בימים ההם ובעת ההיא אצמיח לדוד צמח צדקה ועשה משפט וצדקה בארץ׃

Za 6:12 - ואמרת אליו לאמר כה אמר יהוה צבאות לאמר הנה איש צמח שמו ומתחתיו יצמח ובנה את היכל יהוה׃

Verš 2

ויאמר יהוה אל השטן יגער יהוה בך השטן ויגער יהוה בך הבחר בירושלם הלוא זה אוד מצל מאש׃

Júd 1:9 - ומיכאל שר המלאכים בהתוכחו עם השטן וירב אתו על אדות גוית משה לא מלאו לבו לחרץ משפט גדופים כי אם אמר יגער יהוה בך׃

Verš 4

ויען ויאמר אל העמדים לפניו לאמר הסירו הבגדים הצאים מעליו ויאמר אליו ראה העברתי מעליך עונך והלבש אתך מחלצות׃

Mi 7:18 - מי אל כמוך נשא עון ועבר על פשע לשארית נחלתו לא החזיק לעד אפו כי חפץ חסד הוא׃

Zach 3,1-5 - Veľkňaz Jozue zosobňuje celý kňazský stav, ba celý národ, ktorý aj vinou kňazstva upadol do nemilosti a ktorý by diabol, satan, chcel zničiť. Slová: "Nech ťa zavráti Pán" dozaista nehovorí sám Boh, ale v jeho zastúpení anjel. Boh nechce zničiť národ, ktorý sa i tak len Božou milosťou zachránil od zániku, je ako hlaveň, vytrhnutá z ohňa. Omilostením veľkňaza celý národ dostáva milosť, čo sa symbolicky naznačuje odňatím nečistých a oblečením skvostných šiat.

Zach 3,7 - Veľkňazovi sa sľubuje ochrana anjelov. Iní prekladajú koniec verša: "a dám ti prístup medzi týchto, čo tu stoja", a rozumejú to buď tak, že sa veľkňaz po smrti dostane medzi anjelov, alebo tak, že bude ako anjeli, prostredníkom medzi Bohom a ľuďmi; porov. Mal 2,7.

Zach 3,8 - Výhonok je nesporne Mesiáš, ktorý sa aj v dávnejších proroctvách volá Pánovým služobníkom; pozri Iz 42,1; 49,3.5; 50,10; 52,13; 53,11; Ez 34,23 n. - Aj meno Výhonok dávajú Mesiášovi už staršie proroctvá: Iz 4,2; Jer 23,5; 33,15; porov. Zach 6,12; tiež Iz 11,1.10; 53,2.

Zach 3,9 - Výklad tohto verša je veľmi ťažký. Najpravdepodobnejšie zvýrazňuje tento kameň Božie kráľovstvo. Boh dáva toto kráľovstvo spravovať veľkňazovi Jozuemu. No svoj skutočný lesk dosiahne až vtedy, keď príde Mesiáš, až vtedy vyryje Boh doň ozdobu. Oči sú buď Božia prozreteľnosť (porov. 4,10), ktorá zvláštnym spôsobom chráni túto ríšu, alebo sú to anjeli, ktorých úlohou je strážiť ju.

Zach 3,10 - Opisuje sa pokojamilovnosť Božieho kráľovstva, porov. 1 Kr 5,5.
