Verš 17
Woe to the idol shepherd that left the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
Jer 23:1 - Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! says the LORD.
Ez 34:2 - "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? "
Jn 10:12 - But he that is a worker, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and left the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep.
Verš 12
"And I said unto them, If all of you think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. "
Mt 26:15 - And said unto them, What will all of you give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
Mt 27:9 - "Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; "
Zach 11,1-3 - Cédre, duby a levíčatá zvýrazňujú pyšných veľmožov krajiny.
Palica, ktorú nazval Vľúdnosť, predstavuje priazeň, ktorou Boh viedol svoj ľud; druhá, zvaná Puto, zasa Božiu starostlivosť o to, aby stádo zostalo jednotné a nerozpŕchlo sa.
