Kniha proroka Aggea

1 (KAT) V siedmom (mesiaci), dvadsiateho prvého (dňa) mesiaca, prehovoril Pán prostredníctvom proroka Aggea takto:
1 (VUL) In septimo mense, vicesima et prima mensis, factum est ver bum Domini in manu Aggaei prophetae dicens:
1 (UKJV) In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,

2 (KAT) „Povedz júdskemu námestníkovi, Salatielovmu synovi Zorobábelovi, a veľkňazovi, Josedekovmu synovi Jozuemu, a zvyšku ľudu toto:
2 (VUL) “ Loquere ad Zorobabel filium Salathiel ducem Iudae et ad Iesua filium Iosedec sacerdotem magnum et ad reliquos populi dicens:
2 (UKJV) Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

3 (KAT) Kto je ešte medzi vami taký, čo videl tento dom v jeho predošlej sláve? A za čo ho pokladáte teraz? Či sa nezdá vašim očiam ako nič?
3 (VUL) Quis in vobis est derelictus, qui vidit domum istam in gloria sua prima? Et quid vos videtis eam nunc? Numquid non ita est quasi non sit in oculis vestris?
3 (UKJV) Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do all of you see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

4 (KAT) Teraz sa však vzmuž, Zorobábel, hovorí Pán, a vzmuž sa, veľkňaz, Josedekov syn Jozue, vzmuž sa tiež všetok ľud krajiny, hovorí Pán, a pracujte, lebo ja som s vami, hovorí Pán zástupov.
4 (VUL) Sed et nunc confortare, Zorobabel, dicit Dominus, et confortare, Iesua fili Iosedec sacerdos magne, et confortare, omnis popule terrae, dicit Dominus exercituum; et facite, quoniam ego vobiscum sum, dicit Dominus exercituum.
4 (UKJV) "Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, says the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land, says the LORD, and work: for I am with you, says the LORD of hosts: "

5 (KAT) Slovo, ktoré som s vami uzavrel, keď ste vychádzali z Egypta, a môj duch ostane medzi vami, nebojte sa!
5 (VUL) Verbum quod pepigi vobiscum, cum egrederemini de terra Aegypti, et spiritus meus stat in medio vestrum; nolite timere.
5 (UKJV) According to the word that I covenanted with you when all of you came out of Egypt, so my spirit remains among you: fear all of you not.

6 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Ešte raz - bude to o chvíľku - a ja otrasiem nebesami i zemou, morom i suchou zemou.
6 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus exercituum: Adhuc unum modicum est, et ego commovebo caelum et terram et mare et aridam.
6 (UKJV) "For thus says the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; "

7 (KAT) Otrasiem všetkými kmeňmi i prídu skvosty všetkých národov. Vtedy naplním tento dom slávou, hovorí Pán zástupov.
7 (VUL) Et movebo omnes gentes, et venient thesauri cunctarum gentium, et implebo domum istam gloria, dicit Dominus exercituum.
7 (UKJV) And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts.

8 (KAT) Moje je striebro a moje je zlato, hovorí Pán zástupov.
8 (VUL) Meum est argentum et meum est aurum, dicit Dominus exercituum.
8 (UKJV) The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the LORD of hosts.

9 (KAT) Väčšia bude sláva tohto posledného domu ako prvého, hovorí Pán zástupov, a na tomto mieste budem dávať pokoj, hovorí Pán zástupov.“
9 (VUL) Maior erit gloria domus istius novissima plus quam prima, dicit Dominus exercituum; et in loco isto dabo pacem, dicit Dominus exercituum ”.
9 (UKJV) The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, says the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, says the LORD of hosts.

10 (KAT) Dvadsiateho štvrtého (dňa) deviateho (mesiaca), v druhom roku Dária, prehovoril Pán k prorokovi Aggeovi takto:
10 (VUL) In vicesima et quarta noni mensis, in anno secundo Darii, factum est verbum Domini ad Aggaeum prophetam dicens:
10 (UKJV) In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

11 (KAT) „Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Žiadajte od kňazov poučenie v tomto:
11 (VUL) “ Haec dicit Dominus exercituum: Interroga sacerdotes legem dicens:
11 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, "

12 (KAT) Keby niekto niesol v okraji svojho odevu posvätné mäso a týmto okrajom by sa dotkol chleba alebo jedla, alebo vína, alebo oleja, alebo akéhokoľvek pokrmu, posvätí sa to?“ Kňazi odpovedali: „Nie!“
12 (VUL) Si tulerit homo carnem sanctificatam in ora vestimenti sui et tetigerit de summitate eius panem aut pulmentum aut vinum aut oleum aut omnem cibum, numquid sanctificabitur? ”. Respondentes autem sacerdotes dixerunt: “ Non ”.
12 (UKJV) If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

13 (KAT) Aggeus povedal: „Keby sa ktorejkoľvek z týchto vecí dotkol niekto poškvrnený mŕtvolou, poškvrní sa to?“ Kňazi odpovedali: „Poškvrní!“
13 (VUL) Et dixit Aggaeus: “ Si tetigerit pollutus cadavere omnia haec, numquid contaminabuntur? ”. Et responderunt sacerdotes et dixerunt: “ Contaminabuntur ”.
13 (UKJV) Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

14 (KAT) Aggeus povedal: „Takto je tento ľud a takto je tento národ predo mnou, hovorí Pán; a takto sú všetky diela ich rúk: čokoľvek tam obetujú, je poškvrnené.
14 (VUL) Et respondit Aggaeus et dixit: “ Sic populus iste et sic gens ista ante faciem meam, dicit Dominus, et sic omne opus manuum eorum et omnia, quae offerunt ibi, contaminata sunt.
14 (UKJV) "Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, says the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. "

15 (KAT) Teraz si však všímajte, počnúc týmto dňom! Kým sa nepoložil kameň na kameň v Pánovom chráme,
15 (VUL) Et nunc ponite corda vestra a die hac et supra: Antequam poneretur lapis super lapidem in templo Domini,
15 (UKJV) And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

16 (KAT) išli ste k hŕbe o dvadsiatich (mericiach) a bolo toho desať; išli ste k lisu načerpať päťdesiat mier a bolo toho dvadsať.
16 (VUL) quid fuistis? Cum accederetis ad acervum viginti modiorum, erant decem; cum intraretis ad torcular, ut hauriretis quinquaginta lagenas, erant viginti.
16 (UKJV) Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat in order to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.

17 (KAT) Bil som vás úpalom, sneťou a krupobitím pri všetkých prácach vašich rúk, ale neprišli ste ku mne, hovorí Pán.
17 (VUL) Percussi vos ariditate et rubigine et grandine omnia opera manuum vestrarum, et non fuit in vobis qui reverteretur ad me, dicit Dominus.
17 (UKJV) "I stroke you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet all of you turned not to me, says the LORD. "

18 (KAT) Všímajte si - počnúc dvadsiatym štvrtým dňom deviateho (mesiaca) -, odo dňa, čo bol založený Pánov chrám, si všímajte!
18 (VUL) Ponite corda vestra ex die ista et in futurum, a die vicesima et quarta noni mensis, a die, qua fundamenta iacta sunt templi Domini, ponite super cor vestrum.
18 (UKJV) Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid, consider it.

19 (KAT) Je semä ešte v sýpke a vinič, figovník, granátová jabloň a oliva ešte nerodí? Od tohto dňa budem žehnať.“
19 (VUL) Numquid adhuc semen in horreo est, et adhuc vinea et ficus et malogranatum et lignum olivae non portavit fructum? Ex die hac benedicam ”.
19 (UKJV) Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, has not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

20 (KAT) A Pán dvadsiateho štvrtého (dňa) deviateho mesiaca prehovoril druhý raz k Aggeovi takto:
20 (VUL) Et factum est verbum Domini secundo ad Aggaeum in vicesima et quarta mensis dicens:
20 (UKJV) And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

21 (KAT) „Toto povedz júdskemu námestníkovi, Zorobábelovi: Ja otrasiem nebesami a zemou,
21 (VUL) “ Loquere ad Zorobabel ducem Iudae dicens: Ego movebo caelum pariter et terram
21 (UKJV) "Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; "

22 (KAT) prevrátim kráľovský trón a zničím silu kráľovstiev národov; prevrhnem vozy i tých, čo sa na nich vezú, a kone i s jazdcami sa vrútia každý do meča svojho blížneho.
22 (VUL) et subvertam solium regnorum et conteram fortitudinem regnorum gentium et subvertam quadrigam et ascensores eius; et descendent equi et ascensores eorum, unusquisque percussus gladio fratris sui.
22 (UKJV) "And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother. "

23 (KAT) V ten deň, hovorí Pán zástupov, vezmem ťa, Zorobábel, Salatielov syn, môj sluha, hovorí Pán, a urobím ťa pečaťou, lebo teba som si vyvolil,“ hovorí Pán zástupov.
23 (VUL) In die illo, dicit Dominus exercituum, assumam te, Zorobabel fili Salathiel, serve meus, dicit Dominus, et ponam te quasi signaculum, quia te elegi ”, dicit Dominus exercituum.
23 (UKJV) In that day, says the LORD of hosts, will I take you, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, says the LORD, and will make you as a signet: for I have chosen you, says the LORD of hosts.
