1 (UKJV) In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,
1 (ROH) Druhého roku kráľa Dária, šiesteho mesiaca, prvého dňa toho mesiaca, stalo sa slovo Hospodinovo skrze proroka Haggea na Zorobábela, syna Šealtielovho, judského vojvodu, a na Jozuu, syna Jehocadákovho, najväčšieho kňaza, povediac:
1 (RIV) Il secondo anno del re Dario, il sesto mese, il primo giorno del mese, la parola dell’Eterno fu rivolta, per mezzo del profeta Aggeo, a Zorobabele, figliuolo di Scealtiel, governatore di Giuda, e a Giosuè, figliuolo di Jehotsadak, sommo sacerdote, in questi termini:

2 (UKJV) Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD's house should be built.
2 (ROH) Takto hovorí Hospodin Zástupov: Tento ľud hovorí: Nie je toto čas prijsť, čas, aby sa staväl dom Hospodinov.
2 (RIV) "Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Questo popolo dice: Il tempo non è giunto, il tempo in cui la casa dell’Eterno dev’essere riedificata".

3 (UKJV) Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
3 (ROH) A stalo sa slovo Hospodinovo skrze proroka Haggea povediac:
3 (RIV) Perciò la parola dell’Eterno fu rivolta loro per mezzo del profeta Aggeo, in questi termini:

4 (UKJV) Is it time for you, O all of you, to dwell in your covered over houses, and this house lie waste?
4 (ROH) Či je čas pre vás, aby ste vy bývali vo svojich vykladaných domoch, kým je tento dom pustý?
4 (RIV) "E’ egli il tempo per voi stessi d’abitare le vostre case ben rivestite di legno mentre questa casa giace in rovina?

5 (UKJV) "Now therefore thus says the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. "
5 (ROH) Preto teraz takto hovorí Hospodin Zástupov: Priložte svoje srdce ku svojim cestám!
5 (RIV) Or dunque così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Ponete ben mente alle vostre vie!

6 (UKJV) "All of you have sown much, and bring in little; all of you eat, but all of you have not enough; all of you drink, but all of you are not filled with drink; all of you clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earns wages earns wages to put it into a bag with holes. "
6 (ROH) Sejete mnoho, ale snášate málo; jete, ale nemáte toľko, aby ste sa nasýtili; pijete víno, ale nemáte toľko, aby ste sa napili; obliekate sa, ale človek nemá toľko, aby sa zohrial, a ten, kto odkladá mzdu, odkladá do deravého vreca.

7 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. "
7 (ROH) Takto hovorí Hospodin Zástupov: Priložte svoje srdce ku svojim cestám!
7 (RIV) Così parla l’Eterno degli eserciti: Ponete ben mente alle vostre vie!

8 (UKJV) "Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, says the LORD. "
8 (ROH) Iďte hore na vrch, dopravte dreva, staväjte dom, a budem mať v ňom záľubu, a budem oslávený, hovorí Hospodin.
8 (RIV) Salite nella contrada montuosa, recate del legname, e costruite la casa; e io mi compiacerò d’essa, e sarò glorificato, dice l’Eterno.

9 (UKJV) "All of you looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when all of you brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? says the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and all of you run every man unto his own house. "
9 (ROH) Hľadíte po mnohu, a hľa, je málo, a keď to vnesiete do domu, ja to rozfúknem. Prečo? hovorí Hospodin Zástupov. Pre svoj dom, že je pustý, a vy každý bežíte do svojho domu.
9 (RIV) Voi v’aspettate molto, ed ecco v’è poco; e quando l’avete portato in casa, io ci ho soffiato sopra. Perché? dice l’Eterno degli eserciti. A motivo della mia casa che giace in rovina, mentre ognun di voi si dà premura per la propria casa.

10 (UKJV) Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
10 (ROH) Preto sa pre vás zavrely nebesia, takže nedávajú rosy, a zem sa zavrela so svojou úrodou.
10 (RIV) Perciò il cielo, sopra di voi, è rimasto chiuso, sì che non c’è stata rugiada, e la terra ha ritenuto il suo prodotto.

11 (UKJV) And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground brings forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
11 (ROH) A zavolal som sucho na zem i na vrchy, na zbožie, na vínnu šťavu, na olej i na to, čo vydáva zem, na človeka i na hovädo i na všetku prácu rúk.
11 (RIV) Ed io ho chiamato la siccità sul paese, sui monti, sul grano, sul vino, sull’olio, su tutto ciò che il suolo produce, sugli uomini, sul bestiame, e su tutto il lavoro delle mani".

12 (UKJV) Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.
12 (ROH) A poslúchol Zorobábel, syn Šealtielov, i Jozua, syn Jehocadákov, najväčší kňaz, i všetok ostatok ľudu na hlas Hospodina, svojho Boha, i na slová proroka Haggea, tak ako ho poslal Hospodin, ich Bôh, a ľud sa bál tvári Hospodinovej.
12 (RIV) E Zorobabele, figliuolo di Scealtiel, e Giosuè, figliuolo di Jehotsadak, il sommo sacerdote, e tutto il rimanente del popolo, diedero ascolto alla voce dell’Eterno, del loro Dio, e alle parole del profeta Aggeo, secondo il messaggio che l’Eterno, il loro Dio, gli aveva affidato; e il popolo temette l’Eterno.

13 (UKJV) Then spoke Haggai the LORD's messenger in the LORD's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, says the LORD.
13 (ROH) Vtedy povedal Haggeus, posol Hospodinov, v posolstve Hospodinovom ľudu a riekol: Ja som s vami, hovorí Hospodin.
13 (RIV) E Aggeo, messaggero dell’Eterno, disse al popolo, in virtù della missione avuta dall’Eterno: "Io son con voi, dice l’Eterno".

14 (UKJV) "And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God, "
14 (ROH) A Hospodin zobudil ducha Zorobábela, syna Šealtielovho, vojvodu Júdovho, i ducha Jozuu, syna Jehocadákovho, najväčšieho kňaza, i ducha všetkého ostatku ľudu, a tak prišli a konali dielo na dome Hospodina Zástupov, svojho Boha,
14 (RIV) E l’Eterno destò lo spirito di Zorobabele, figliuolo di Scealtiel, governatore di Giuda, e lo spirito di Giosuè, figliuolo di Jehotsadak, sommo sacerdote, e lo spirito di tutto il resto del popolo; ed essi vennero e misero mano all’opera nella casa dell’Eterno degli eserciti, il loro Dio,

15 (UKJV) In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
15 (ROH) dvadsiateho a štvrtého dňa, šiesteho mesiaca, druhého roku kráľa Dária.
15 (RIV) il ventiquattresimo giorno del mese, il sesto mese, il secondo anno del re Dario.
