Kniha proroka Nahum

2 (ROH) Hospodin je silný Bôh žiarlivý a pomstiaci sa: Hospodin pomstí a má prchký hnev; Hospodin uvodí pomstu na svojich protivníkov a drží hnev na svojich nepriateľov.
2 (RIV) L’Eterno è un Dio geloso e vendicatore; L’Eterno è vendicatore e pieno di furore; l’Eterno si vendica dei suoi avversari, e serba il cruccio per i suoi nemici.

3 (UKJV) The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
3 (ROH) Hospodin je dlhozhovievajúci a veľký čo do sily, ale nijakým činom neoprostí vinného viny. Hospodin, jeho cesta je vo víchrici a v búrke, a oblak je prachom jeho nôh.

6 (ROH) Kto obstojí pred jeho zúrivým hnevom? A kto povstane proti páli jeho hnevu?! Jeho prchlivosť sa rozlieva jako oheň, a skaly sa vyvracajú pred ním.
6 (RIV) Chi può reggere davanti alla sua indignazione? Chi può sussistere sotto l’ardore della sua ira? Il suo furore si spande come fuoco, e le scoscendono davanti a lui.

7 (UKJV) "The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him. "
7 (ROH) Hospodin je dobrý; je pevnosťou v deň súženia a zná tých, ktorí a utiekajú k nemu.

12 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more. "
12 (ROH) Takto hovorí Hospodin: Hoci by boli v plnej sile a ešte tak mnohí, i tak by boli skosení, a prejde. A keď som ťa aj trápil, nebudem ťa už viacej trápiť.
12 (RIV) Così parla l’Eterno: Anche se in piena forza e numerosi, saranno falciati e scompariranno, e s’io t’ho afflitta non t’affliggerò più.

13 (UKJV) For now will I break his yoke from off you, and will burst your bonds in two.
13 (ROH) Ale teraz už polámem jeho jarmo a shodím s teba a tvoje putá potrhám.

14 (UKJV) "And the LORD has given a commandment concerning you, that no more of your name be sown: out of the house of your gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make your grave; for you are vile. "
14 (ROH) A Hospodin prikázal o tebe: Nebude sa viacej siať z tvojho mena; z domu tvojho boha vyplienim rytinu a sliatinu; tam ti položím tvoj hrob, lebo si najdený priľahký.
14 (RIV) E quanto a te, popolo di Ninive, l’Eterno ha dato quest’ordine: Che non vi sia più posterità del tuo nome; io sterminerò dalla casa delle tue divinità le immagini scolpite e le immagini fuse; io ti preparerò la tomba perché sei divenuto spregevole.

15 (UKJV) "Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through you; he is utterly cut off. "
15 (ROH) Hľa, na vrchoch nohy toho, ktorý zvestuje radostné veci, toho, ktorý hlása pokoj. Sláv, Júda, svoje slávnosti, plň svoje sľuby! Lebo už viacej nepojde cez teba beliál; bude celý vyplienený.
15 (RIV) Ecco, sui monti, i piedi di colui che reca buone novelle, che annunzia la pace! Celebra le tue feste, o Giuda, sciogli i tuoi voti; poiché lo scellerato non passerà più in mezzo a te; egli è sterminato interamente.
