Mi 1, 1-16

1 (VUL) Verbum Domini, quod factum est ad Michaeam Morasthiten in diebus Ioatham, Achaz, Ezechiae regum Iudae, quod vidit super Samariam et Ierusalem.
1 (UKJV) The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

2 (VUL) Audite, populi omnes, et attendat terra et plenitudo eius; et sit Dominus Deus vobis in testem, Dominus de templo sancto suo.
2 (UKJV) "Hear, all you people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple. "

3 (VUL) Quia ecce Dominus egreditur de loco suo et descendet et calcabit super excelsa terrae;
3 (UKJV) For, behold, the LORD comes forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

4 (VUL) et liquescent montes subtus eum, et valles scindentur sicut cera a facie ignis, sicut aquae, quae decurrunt in praeceps.
4 (UKJV) And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.

5 (VUL) In scelere Iacob omne istud et in peccatis domus Israel. Quod scelus Iacob? Nonne Samaria? Et quae excelsa Iudae? Nonne Ierusalem?
5 (UKJV) For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

6 (VUL) Et ponam Samariam in acervum lapidum, in agrum, ubi plantatur vinea; et detraham in vallem lapides eius et fundamenta eius revelabo.
6 (UKJV) Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

7 (VUL) Et omnia sculptilia eius concidentur, et omnes mercedes eius comburentur igne, et omnia idola eius ponam in perditionem, quia de mercedibus meretricis congregata sunt et usque ad mercedem meretricis revertentur.
7 (UKJV) And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

8 (VUL) Super hoc plangam et ululabo; vadam spoliatus et nudus, faciam planctum velut thoum et luctum quasi struthionum,
8 (UKJV) Therefore I will wail and wail, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

9 (VUL) quia desperata est plaga eius, quia venit usque ad Iudam, tetigit portam populi mei usque ad Ierusalem.
9 (UKJV) "For her wound is incurable; for it has come unto Judah; he has come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. "

10 (VUL) In Geth nolite annuntiare, lacrimis ne ploretis, in Bethleaphra in pulvere volutamini.
10 (UKJV) Declare all of you it not at Gath, weep all of you not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll yourself in the dust.

11 (VUL) Et transite vobis, habitatores Saphir, confusi ignominia; non sunt egressi habitatores Saanan. Planctus Bethesel auferet a vobis mansionem suam.
11 (UKJV) "Pass all of you away, you inhabitant of Saphir, having your shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing. "

12 (VUL) Profecto trement de bono habitatores Maroth, quia descendit malum a Domino in portam Ierusalem.
12 (UKJV) For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

13 (VUL) Iungite quadrigae equos, habitatores Lachis; principium peccati est filiae Sion, quia in te inventa sunt scelera Israel.
13 (UKJV) O you inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.

14 (VUL) Propterea dabis dimissionem super Moresethgeth. Domus Achzib in deceptionem regibus Israel.
14 (UKJV) Therefore shall you give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

15 (VUL) Adhuc expugnatorem adducam tibi, quae habitas in Maresa; usque Odollam veniet gloria Israel.
15 (UKJV) Yet will I bring an heir unto you, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.

16 (VUL) Decalvare et tondere super filios deliciarum tuarum; dilata calvitium tuum sicut aquila, quoniam captivi ducti sunt ex te.
16 (UKJV) "Make you bald, and poll you for your delicate children; enlarge your baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from you. "

Audite, populi omnes, et attendat terra et plenitudo eius; et sit Dominus Deus vobis in testem, Dominus de templo sancto suo.

Dt 32:1 - “ Audite, caeli, quae loquor; audiat terra verba oris mei!

Iz 1:2 - Audite, caeli, et auribus percipe, terra, quoniam Dominus locutus est: “ Filios enutrivi et exaltavi, ipsi autem spreverunt me.

Verš 3

Quia ecce Dominus egreditur de loco suo et descendet et calcabit super excelsa terrae;

Iz 26:21 - Ecce enim Dominus egredietur de loco suo, ut visitet iniquitatem habitatoris terrae contra eum; et revelabit terra sanguinem suum et non operiet ultra interfectos suos ”.

Dt 32:13 - Constituit eum super excelsam terram, ut comederet fructus agrorum, ut sugeret mel de petra oleumque de saxo durissimo,

Dt 33:29 - Beatus tu, Israel! Quis similis tui, popule, qui salvaris in Domino? Ipse est scutum auxilii tui et gladius gloriae tuae. Blandientur tibi inimici tui, et tu eorum altitudines calcabis ”.

et liquescent montes subtus eum, et valles scindentur sicut cera a facie ignis, sicut aquae, quae decurrunt in praeceps.

Ž 97:5 - Montes sicut cera fluxerunt a facie Domini, a facie Domini omnis terra.

Am 9:5 - Et Dominus, Deus exercituum, qui tangit terram, et tabescet. Et lugebunt omnes habitantes in ea; et ascendet sicut fluvius ea omnis et decrescet sicut flumen Aegypti.

Super hoc plangam et ululabo; vadam spoliatus et nudus, faciam planctum velut thoum et luctum quasi struthionum,

Jób 30:29 - Frater fui draconum et socius struthionum.

Verš 10

In Geth nolite annuntiare, lacrimis ne ploretis, in Bethleaphra in pulvere volutamini.

2Sam 1:20 - Nolite annuntiare in Geth neque annuntietis in compitis Ascalonis, ne forte laetentur filiae Philisthim, ne exsultent filiae incircumcisorum.

Jer 6:26 - Filia populi mei, accingere cilicio et volutare in cinere, luctum unigeniti fac tibi, planctum amarum, quia repente veniet vastator super nos.

Verš 11

Et transite vobis, habitatores Saphir, confusi ignominia; non sunt egressi habitatores Saanan. Planctus Bethesel auferet a vobis mansionem suam.

Iz 47:3 - Revelabitur ignominia tua, et videbitur opprobrium tuum. “ Ultionem capiam, nemini parcam ”,

Profecto trement de bono habitatores Maroth, quia descendit malum a Domino in portam Ierusalem.

Am 3:6 - Si clanget tuba in civitate, populus non expavescet? Si erit malum in civitate, nonne Dominus fecit?

Mich 1,1 - O Micheášovi a jeho vlasti pozri úvod k tomuto prorokovi. – K dobe, v ktorej Micheáš pôsobil, porov. Iz 1,1; Oz 1,1. – Hlavné mesto Izraelskej ríše, Samária, spomína sa tu miesto celej ríše, podobne aj Jeruzalem, hlavné mesto Južnej ríše.

Mich 1,2 - Porov. Dt 32,1; Iz 1,2; Mich 6,1 n.

Mich 1,3 - "Zo svojho miesta" rozumej: z neba.

Mich 1,4 - Porov. Sdc 5,4 n.; Ž 18,8 n.; 68,9; 97,2–6.

Mich 1,5 - Samária a Jeruzalem sú strediskami modloslužby svojich krajín.

Mich 1,7 - Samária pokladala svoje bohatstvo, ktoré jej umožnilo narobiť toľko modiel, za dar svojich falošných bohov, porov. Oz 2,12.

Mich 1,8 - O slove "nahý" pozri pozn. k Iz 20,2.

Mich 1,9 - Úder, ktorý zničil Samáriu, bol úder aj pre Júdsko. Nepriateľ väčšmi ohrozoval aj Júdsko.

Mich 1,10-16 - Spomína sa niekoľko júdskych miest vždy v súvise s nejakým nešťastím, ktoré má v pôvodine podobný význam alebo aspoň podobné znenie ako meno mesta. Tieto slovné hry v preklade nemožno podať. Okrem tohto je osnova týchto veršov dosť porušená.

Mich 1,10 - Prorok vyzýva júdskych utečencov, aby pred cudzincami zatajili svoje nešťastie, lebo tí by sa ich pohrome tešili. Ako príklad sa spomína filištínske mesto Get a fenické mesto Ako (Akko). – Bet Afra je asi Ofera, mesto na územía Benjamínovho kmeň.

Mich 1,11 - Mestá, spomínané v tomto verši, nepodarilo sa s istotou určiť. Zmysel je asi: Obyvatelia Šafiru sa ešte vyzývajú k úteku, obyvatelia Sánanu však už nemohli ujsť pred nepriateľom.

Mich 1,12 - Poloha Marotu je neznáma.

Mich 1,13 - O Lachisi pozri pozn. k 2 Kr 14,19. "Zapriahni do voza tátoše" rozumej: Ujdi, ako rýchlo len môžeš.

Mich 1,14 - Odbytné dával ženích verenici, keď ju prepúšťal. Aj Pán prepustí svoju nevernú snúbenicu. Meno Morešet znamená "verenica". O tomto meste pozri úvod. – Meno mesta Akzib znamená "lož, klamstvo". V tomto meste sa dožijú sklamania králi, ktorí sa spoliehali na silu a ľudskú pomoc. – Akzib bol v Júdsku, pozri Joz 15,44.

Mich 1,15 - O Marese porov. pozn. k 2 Krn 11,6–10. Toto mesto dostane nového, nepriateľského dediča. "Sláva Izraela" sú veľmoži, ktorí budú musieť utekať a schovávať sa v jaskyni Odolam ako kedysi Dávid, porov. 1 Sam 22,1; 2 Sam 23,13.

Mich 1,16 - Porov. Iz 15,2; 22,12; Jer 7,29; 16,6; 41,5; Am 8,10. – Synovia národa pôjdu do zajatia.
