Kniha proroka Amosa

1 (HEM) שמעו את הדבר הזה אשר דבר יהוה עליכם בני ישראל על כל המשפחה אשר העליתי מארץ מצרים לאמר׃
1 (VUL) Audite verbum hoc, quod locutus est Dominus super vos, filii Israel, super omnem cognationem, quam eduxi de terra Aegypti, dicens:
1 (KAT) Čujte túto reč, ktorú Pán hovorí o vás, synovia Izraela, o celom pokolení, ktoré som vyviedol z egyptskej krajiny:
1 (UKJV) Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

2 (HEM) רק אתכם ידעתי מכל משפחות האדמה על כן אפקד עליכם את כל עונתיכם׃
2 (VUL) “ Tantummodo vos cognovi ex omnibus cognationibus terrae; idcirco visitabo super vos omnes iniquitates vestras.
2 (KAT) „Iba vás som poznal zo všetkých národov zeme, preto strescem na vás všetky vaše hriechy.
2 (UKJV) You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

3 (HEM) הילכו שנים יחדו בלתי אם נועדו׃
3 (VUL) Numquid ambulabunt duo pariter, nisi convenerint?
3 (KAT) Či pôjdu dvaja spolu, ak sa nedohovorili?
3 (UKJV) Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

4 (HEM) הישאג אריה ביער וטרף אין לו היתן כפיר קולו ממענתו בלתי אם לכד׃
4 (VUL) Numquid rugiet leo in saltu, nisi habuerit praedam? Numquid dabit catulus leonis vocem de cubili suo, nisi aliquid apprehenderit?
4 (KAT) Či lev reve v lese, ak nemá korisť? - Či sa ozve levíča z brlohu, ak nič nechytilo?
4 (UKJV) Will a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?

5 (HEM) התפל צפור על פח הארץ ומוקש אין לה היעלה פח מן האדמה ולכוד לא ילכוד׃
5 (VUL) Numquid cadet avis super terram absque laqueo? Numquid laxatur laqueus de terra, antequam quid ceperit?
5 (KAT) Či padne vták do siete na zemi, ak niet osídla? - Či sa strhne sieť zo zeme, ak nič nechytila?
5 (UKJV) Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no animal trap is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?

6 (HEM) אם יתקע שופר בעיר ועם לא יחרדו אם תהיה רעה בעיר ויהוה לא עשה׃
6 (VUL) Si clanget tuba in civitate, populus non expavescet? Si erit malum in civitate, nonne Dominus fecit?
6 (KAT) Či zazneje v meste pozauna a ľud by sa nestrhol? - Či sa stane v meste nešťastie, ak ho neurobil Pán?
6 (UKJV) Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD has not done it?

7 (HEM) כי לא יעשה אדני יהוה דבר כי אם גלה סודו אל עבדיו הנביאים׃
7 (VUL) Nihil enim faciet Dominus Deus, nisi revelaverit secretum suum ad servos suos prophetas.
7 (KAT) Veď Pán, Jahve, neurobí nič, ak nezjaví svoj plán svojim sluhom, prorokom.
7 (UKJV) Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets.

8 (HEM) אריה שאג מי לא יירא אדני יהוה דבר מי לא ינבא׃
8 (VUL) Leo rugit, quis non timebit? Dominus Deus locutus est, quis non prophetabit?
8 (KAT) Lev reve, kto by sa nebál? Pán, Jahve, hovorí, kto by neprorokoval?
8 (UKJV) The lion has roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD has spoken, who can but prophesy?

9 (HEM) השמיעו על ארמנות באשדוד ועל ארמנות בארץ מצרים ואמרו האספו על הרי שמרון וראו מהומת רבות בתוכה ועשוקים בקרבה׃
9 (VUL) Auditum facite in aedibus Assyriae et in aedibus terrae Aegypti et dicite: “Congregamini super montes Samariae”; et videte insanias multas in medio eius et oppressos in sinu eius.
9 (KAT) Oznámte v palácoch Asýrska aj v palácoch egyptskej krajiny a vravte: »Zhromaždite sa na vrchoch Samárie« a všimnite si v nej veľký zhon a utláčanie v jej strede!
9 (UKJV) Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.

10 (HEM) ולא ידעו עשות נכחה נאם יהוה האוצרים חמס ושד בארמנותיהם׃
10 (VUL) Et nescierunt facere rectum, dicit Dominus, thesaurizantes violentiam et rapinas in aedibus suis ”.
10 (KAT) Nevedia konať priamo, hovorí Pán, hromadia násilie a lúpež vo svojich palácoch.“
10 (UKJV) For they know not to do right, says the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

11 (HEM) לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה צר וסביב הארץ והורד ממך עזך ונבזו ארמנותיך׃
11 (VUL) Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus: “ Inimicus circumdabit terram, et detrahetur ex te fortitudo tua, et diripientur aedes tuae ”.
11 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán, Jahve: „Nepriateľ obkľúči krajinu a pozbaví ťa sily, budú vyplienené tvoje paláce.“
11 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down your strength from you, and your palaces shall be spoiled. "

12 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה כאשר יציל הרעה מפי הארי שתי כרעים או בדל אזן כן ינצלו בני ישראל הישבים בשמרון בפאת מטה ובדמשק ערש׃
12 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus: “ Quomodo si eruat pastor de ore leonis duo crura aut extremum auriculae, sic eruentur filii Israel, qui habitant in Samaria, in margine lectuli et in Damasci grabato.
12 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán: „Ako pastier vytrhne z pysku leva dve nôžky alebo kúsok ucha, tak sa vyslobodia synovia Izraela, ktorí sedia v Samárii v rohu na pohovke a na damaškovom lôžku.
12 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; As the shepherd takes out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch. "

13 (HEM) שמעו והעידו בבית יעקב נאם אדני יהוה אלהי הצבאות׃
13 (VUL) Audite et contestamini in domo Iacob, dicit Dominus, Deus exercituum:
13 (KAT) Čujte a dosvedčte v Jakubovom dome, hovorí Pán, Jahve, Boh zástupov.
13 (UKJV) Hear all of you, and testify in the house of Jacob, says the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,

14 (HEM) כי ביום פקדי פשעי ישראל עליו ופקדתי על מזבחות בית אל ונגדעו קרנות המזבח ונפלו לארץ׃
14 (VUL) In die cum visitavero praevaricationes Israel, super eum visitabo et super altaria Bethel, et amputabuntur cornua altaris et cadent in terram;
14 (KAT) Lebo v deň, keď navštívim hriechy Izraela a budem trestať pre oltár v Beteli, budú zrazené rohy oltára a padnú na zem.
14 (UKJV) That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.

15 (HEM) והכיתי בית החרף על בית הקיץ ואבדו בתי השן וספו בתים רבים נאם יהוה׃
15 (VUL) et percutiam domum hiemalem cum domo aestiva, et peribunt domus eburneae, et dissipabuntur aedes magnae ”, dicit Dominus.
15 (KAT) Zrútim aj zimný dom spolu s domom letným; vtedy zaniknú domy zo slonoviny a bude koniec mnohým domom“ - hovorí Pán.
15 (UKJV) "And I will strike the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, says the LORD. "
