1 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה על שלשה פשעי מואב ועל ארבעה לא אשיבנו על שרפו עצמות מלך אדום לשיד׃
1 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus: “ Super tribus sceleribus Moab et super quattuor verbum non revocabo: eo quod incenderit ossa regis Edom usque ad cinerem,

2 (HEM) ושלחתי אש במואב ואכלה ארמנות הקריות ומת בשאון מואב בתרועה בקול שופר׃

2 (KAT) vrhnem oheň na Moabsko a strávi paláce Kariotu a Moab zomrie v lomoze, v hluku a za zvuku trúby.
2 (UKJV) But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:

3 (HEM) והכרתי שופט מקרבה וכל שריה אהרוג עמו אמר יהוה׃
3 (VUL) disperdam iudicem de medio eius et omnes principes eius interficiam cum eo ”, dicit Dominus.
3 (KAT) Vyhubím z jeho stredu sudcov a všetky jeho kniežatá zabijem s ním“ - hovorí Pán.
3 (UKJV) And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, says the LORD.

4 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה על שלשה פשעי יהודה ועל ארבעה לא אשיבנו על מאסם את תורת יהוה וחקיו לא שמרו ויתעום כזביהם אשר הלכו אבותם אחריהם׃

4 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to go astray, after the which their fathers have walked: "

5 (HEM) ושלחתי אש ביהודה ואכלה ארמנות ירושלם׃

6 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה על שלשה פשעי ישראל ועל ארבעה לא אשיבנו על מכרם בכסף צדיק ואביון בעבור נעלים׃
6 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus: “ Super tribus sceleribus Israel et super quattuor verbum non revocabo: eo quod vendiderint pro argento iustum et pauperem pro calceamentis;

6 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes; "

7 (HEM) השאפים על עפר ארץ בראש דלים ודרך ענוים יטו ואיש ואביו ילכו אל הנערה למען חלל את שם קדשי׃
7 (VUL) qui contriverint super pulverem terrae capita pauperum et viam humilium declinaverint, et filius ac pater eius iverint ad puellam, ut violarent nomen sanctum meum;
7 (KAT) V prachu zeme šliapu po hlave maličkých a krivia cestu utlačených; otec so synom ide k dievčaťu,

8 (HEM) ועל בגדים חבלים יטו אצל כל מזבח ויין ענושים ישתו בית אלהיהם׃
8 (VUL) et super vestimentis pignoratis accubuerint iuxta omne altare et vinum damnatorum biberint in domo Dei sui.
8 (KAT) aby znesvätili moje sväté meno. Na založených plášťoch sa váľajú pri každom oltári a pijú víno pokutovaných v dome svojho Boha.
8 (UKJV) And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

9 (HEM) ואנכי השמדתי את האמרי מפניהם אשר כגבה ארזים גבהו וחסן הוא כאלונים ואשמיד פריו ממעל ושרשיו מתחת׃

11 (VUL) et suscitavi de filiis vestris prophetas et de iuvenibus vestris nazaraeos. Numquid non ita est, filii Israel?, dicit Dominus.
11 (KAT) Z vašich synov som ustanovil prorokov a z vašich mladíkov nazirejcov; či je to nie tak, synovia Izraela? - hovorí Pán.
11 (UKJV) And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O all of you children of Israel? says the LORD.

12 (HEM) ותשקו את הנזרים יין ועל הנביאים צויתם לאמר לא תנבאו׃
12 (VUL) Et propinastis nazaraeis vinum et prophetis mandastis dicentes: “Ne prophetetis”.
12 (KAT) Lenže nazirejcom ste dali piť víno a prorokom ste rozkazovali: »Neprorokujte!«

13 (HEM) הנה אנכי מעיק תחתיכם כאשר תעיק העגלה המלאה לה עמיר׃

14 (HEM) ואבד מנוס מקל וחזק לא יאמץ כחו וגבור לא ימלט נפשו׃

14 (KAT) Vtedy ľahký stratí beh, mocný si nezocelí silu a hrdina si nezachráni život.
14 (UKJV) Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:

15 (HEM) ותפש הקשת לא יעמד וקל ברגליו לא ימלט ורכב הסוס לא ימלט נפשו׃
15 (VUL) tenens arcum non stabit, et velox pedibus suis non salvabitur; ascensor equi non salvabit animam suam,
15 (KAT) Kušostrelec neobstojí, ľahkonohý neutečie, jazdec si nezachráni život na koni.
15 (UKJV) "Neither shall he stand that handles the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rides the horse deliver himself. "

16 (HEM) ואמיץ לבו בגבורים ערום ינוס ביום ההוא נאם יהוה׃
16 (VUL) et fortissimus corde inter robustos nudus fugiet in illa die ”, dicit Dominus.
16 (KAT) Najsrdnatejší z hrdinov bude nahý bežať v ten deň“ - hovorí Pán.
