Lv 2, 1-16

1 (VUL) Anima cum obtulerit oblationem sacrificii farinae Domino, simila erit eius oblatio, fundetque super eam oleum et ponet tus
1 (UKJV) "And when any will offer a food offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon: "

2 (VUL) ac deferet ad filios Aaron sacerdotes, tolletque ex eo pugillum plenum similae et olei ac totum tus, et sacerdos adolebit memoriale super altare, incensum odoris suavissimi Domino.
2 (UKJV) "And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take from it his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: "

3 (VUL) Quod autem reliquum fuerit de sacrificio, erit Aaron et filiorum eius: sanctum sanctorum de incensis Domini.
3 (UKJV) And the remnant of the food offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

4 (VUL) Cum autem obtuleris sacrificium similae coctum in clibano: de simila erunt panes, scilicet absque fermento conspersi oleo et lagana azyma oleo lita;
4 (UKJV) And if you bring an oblation of a food offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

5 (VUL) si oblatio tua fuerit de sartagine, simila erit, conspersa oleo et absque fermento;
5 (UKJV) And if your oblation be a food offering baked in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.

6 (VUL) divides eam minutatim et fundes super eam oleum: oblatio similae est.
6 (UKJV) You shall part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a food offering.

7 (VUL) Sin autem de frixorio fuerit sacrificium, aeque simila oleo conspergetur.
7 (UKJV) And if your oblation be a food offering baked in the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

8 (VUL) Et deferes oblationem ex his Domino factam tradens manibus sacerdotis,
8 (UKJV) And you shall bring the food offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.

9 (VUL) qui afferet eam ad altare, tollet memoriale de sacrificio et adolebit super altare: incensum odoris suavissimi Domino.
9 (UKJV) And the priest shall take from the food offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

10 (VUL) Quidquid autem reliquum est, erit Aaron et filiorum eius: sanctum sanctorum de incensis Domini.
10 (UKJV) And that which is left of the food offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

11 (VUL) Omnis oblatio similae, quam offeretis Domino, absque fermento fiet, quia nihil fermenti ac mellis adolebitis incensum Domino.
11 (UKJV) No food offering, which all of you shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for all of you shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.

12 (VUL) Primitias tantum eorum offeretis tamquam munera Domino; super altare vero non ponentur in odorem suavitatis.
12 (UKJV) As for the oblation of the first-fruits, all of you shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.

13 (VUL) Quidquid obtuleris sacrificii, similae sale condies nec auferes sal foederis Dei tui de sacrificio tuo: in omni oblatione tua offeres sal.
13 (UKJV) "And every oblation of your food offering shall you season with salt; neither shall you suffer the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your food offering: with all of your offerings you shall offer salt. "

14 (VUL) Sin autem obtuleris munus primarum frugum tuarum Domino, spicas tostas igni et grana fracta farris recentis offeres in sacrificium primarum frugum tuarum
14 (UKJV) And if you offer a food offering of your first-fruits unto the LORD, you shall offer for the food offering of your first-fruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.

15 (VUL) fundens supra oleum et tus imponens: similae oblatio est.
15 (UKJV) And you shall put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a food offering.

16 (VUL) De qua adolebit sacerdos tamquam memoriale partem farris fracti et olei ac totum tus.
16 (UKJV) And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Lv 6:14 - quae in sartagine oleo conspersa frigetur. Afferes eam calidam et offeres divisam minutatim, sacrificium in odorem suavissimum Domino.

Lv 6:15 - Sacerdos unctus, qui patri iure successerit, faciet illud. Legitimum sempiternum: Domino tota cremabitur;

Lv 10:12 - Locutusque est Moyses ad Aaron et ad Eleazar atque Ithamar filios eius, qui residui erant: “ Tollite oblationem similae, quae remansit de incensis Domini, et comedite illam absque fermento iuxta altare, quia sanctum sanctorum est.

Quidquid obtuleris sacrificii, similae sale condies nec auferes sal foederis Dei tui de sacrificio tuo: in omni oblatione tua offeres sal.
Mk 9:49 - omnis enim igne salietur.

Lv 2,1 - Nekrvavé obety pridávali sa k celostným žertvám, tvorili však aj osobitné samostatné obety, a to v deň svätenia kňazov (6,19 n.), nekrvavou obetou bola "obeta zo žiarlivosti" (Nm 5,15), a keď bol obetujúci chudobný, tak mohol priniesť ako obetu za hriech aj nekrvavú obetu (Lv 5,11).

Lv 2,2 - Na pripomienku, hebr. azkárá, je tá časť nekrvavej (suchej) obety, ktorá sa spaľovala na oltári. Preto sa volá pripomienkou, že pripomína Pánovi toho, kto obetuje, aby mu bol naklonený a milostivý. Iní to prekladajú slovami "voňavá časť", časť, pôsobiaca Pánovi vôňu, pretože ostatné čiastky sa nespaľovali (2,9; 5,12; 6,15; 24,7).

Lv 2,3 - "Posvätné" boli len tie časti obiet, ktoré mohli jedávať iba mužskí z rodiny Áronovej, a to na posvätnom mieste, teda v nádvorí svätyne. Boli to kňazské podiely z obety za hriech (6,18.22; 10,17) a z obety za spreneveru (7,1.6; 14,13). Posvätnými neboli čiastky z obiet pokojných; z týchto mohli jesť všetci členovia kňazských rodín, a to aj doma (10,12–14).

Lv 2,11 - Kysnuté chleby alebo med nesmeli obetovať, lebo kvas mení prirodzenú povahu daru (1 Kor 5,8; Gal 5,9). Kysnuté chleby mohli obetovať ako prvotiny úrody (7,13; 23,17; 2 Krn 31,5).

Lv 2,13 - Soľ sa používala sprvoti len pri suchých obetách, neskoršie sa tento zvyk rozšíril aj na obety krvavé (Mk 9,49). Jedenie soli s chlebom naznačuje vzájomný priateľský pomer, teda soľ je znakom priateľstva. Soľ najmä pri uzavieraní zmlúv hrala dôležitú úlohu. Volala sa aj "soľou zmluvy".
