Kniha Levitikus

1 (KAT) Pán hovoril Mojžišovi po smrti dvoch Áronových synov, ktorí zomreli, keď (neprístojne) predstúpili pred Pána.
1 (VUL) Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen post mortem duum filiorum Aaron, quando appropinquantes in conspectum Domini interfecti sunt,
1 (UKJV) "And the LORD spoke unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the LORD, and died; "

3 (KAT) Áron vstúpi do svätyne iba tak, že prinesie býčka na obetu za hriech a barana na celostnú žertvu.

3 (UKJV) Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.

4 (UKJV) "He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen turban shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on. "

5 (KAT) Od celej izraelskej pospolitosti prijme dva capy na obetu za hriech a jedného barana na celostnú žertvu.

5 (UKJV) And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

7 (UKJV) And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

8 (VUL) mittens super utrumque sortem, unam Domino et alteram Azazel.
8 (UKJV) "And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. "

9 (KAT) Tu Áron prinesie capa, na ktorého padol žreb pre Pána, a prinesie ho na obetu za hriech;
9 (VUL) Cuius sors exierit Domino, offeret illum pro peccato;
9 (UKJV) And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD's lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.

12 (UKJV) And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:

13 (KAT) a zanesie to na oheň pred Pána, aby kadidlový dym zahalil zľutovnicu nad zákonom; inak by musel zomrieť.
13 (VUL) ut, positis super ignem aromatibus coram Domino, nebula eorum et vapor operiat propitiatorium, quod est super testimonium, et non moriatur.
13 (UKJV) And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:

14 (KAT) Nato vezme z býčkovej krvi a prstom pokropí zľutovnicu na čelnej strane; svojím prstom pokropí zľutovnicu sedem ráz krvou.
14 (VUL) Tollet quoque de sanguine vituli et asperget digito septies contra frontem propitiatorii.
14 (UKJV) "And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. "

15 (KAT) Nato zabije capa určeného na obetu za hriech ľudu, jeho krv zanesie za oponu a s krvou urobí to isté, čo urobil s krvou býčka: pokropí ňou zľutovnicu a (miesto) pred zľutovnicou;

16 (VUL) et expiet sanctuarium ab immunditiis filiorum Israel et a praevaricationibus eorum cunctisque peccatis. Iuxta hunc ritum faciet tabernaculo conventus, quod fixum est inter eos in medio sordium habitationis eorum.
16 (UKJV) And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

17 (KAT) V stánku zjavenia nesmie byť nik, keď on vstúpi, aby vykonal vo svätyni zmierenie, kým ju neopustí a nevykoná zmierenie za seba a za celú izraelskú pospolitosť.
17 (VUL) Nullus hominum sit in tabernaculo conventus, quando pontifex ingreditur sanctuarium, ut expiet se et domum suam et universam congregationem Israel, donec egrediatur.
17 (UKJV) And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goes in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he comes out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.

18 (VUL) Cum autem exierit ad altare, quod coram Domino est, expiabit illud et sumptum sanguinem vituli atque hirci fundet super cornua eius per gyrum;
18 (UKJV) "And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about. "

19 (KAT) a prstom ho sedem ráz pokropí krvou. Takto ho očistí a posvätí od nečistôt Izraelitov.
19 (VUL) aspergensque de sanguine digito septies mundabit sanctificabitque illud ab immunditiis filiorum Israel.
19 (UKJV) And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

20 (KAT) Keď ukončí zmierenie svätyne, stánku zjavenia a oltára, privedie živého capa.
20 (VUL) Et postquam compleverit expiationem sanctuarii et tabernaculi conventus et altaris, tunc afferat hircum viventem;
20 (UKJV) And when he has made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:

21 (KAT) Živému capovi položí Áron obe ruky na hlavu a vyzná nad ním všetky previnenia Izraelitov a všetky priestupky, ktorých sa dopustili. Naloží ich na capovu hlavu a dá ho určenému mužovi vyviesť do púšte.
21 (VUL) et, posita utraque manu super caput eius, confiteatur Aaron super eum omnes iniquitates filiorum Israel et universa delicta atque peccata eorum; quae ponens super caput eius emittet illum per hominem paratum in desertum.
21 (UKJV) And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

22 (KAT) Takto cap odnesie všetky ich neprávosti na odľahlé miesto, keď capa vyženie na púšť.

22 (UKJV) And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

23 (VUL) ingredietur Aaron in tabernaculum conventus; et, depositis vestibus lineis, quibus prius indutus erat, cum intraret sanctuarium, relictisque ibi,
23 (UKJV) And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:

24 (KAT) Potom si na svätom mieste poumýva telo a oblečie sa do svojho rúcha, vyjde von a obetuje svoju celostnú žertvu a celostnú žertvu všetkého ľudu a vykoná zmierenie za seba a za ľud.
24 (VUL) lavabit carnem suam aqua in loco sancto indueturque vestimentis suis. Et postquam egressus obtulerit holocaustum suum ac plebis, expiabit se et populum;
24 (UKJV) And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.

25 (KAT) Loj obety za hriech spáli však na oltári.

25 (UKJV) And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.

26 (KAT) Ten, kto vyhnal capa Azazelovi, vyperie si odev a okúpe si telo vo vode; potom môže prísť do tábora.
26 (VUL) Ille vero, qui dimiserit caprum emissarium ad Azazel, lavabit vestimenta sua et corpus aqua et postea ingredietur in castra.
26 (UKJV) And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.

27 (KAT) Býčka na obetu za hriech aj capa na obetu za hriech, ktorých krv použil na vykonanie zmierenia vo svätyni, vynesú von z tábora a úplne ich spália aj s ich kožou, mäsom a trusom.

27 (UKJV) "And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung. "

28 (KAT) Kto ich spáli, vyperie si odev a okúpe si telo vo vode, a potom môže prísť do tábora.
28 (VUL) et quicumque combusserit ea, lavabit vestimenta sua et carnem aqua et postea ingredietur in castra.
28 (UKJV) And he that burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

29 (KAT) Tento zákon bude pre vás večne platný: V desiaty deň siedmeho mesiaca sa budete postiť a nebudete konať nijakú prácu, ani domorodec, ani cudzinec, ktorý sa u vás zdržuje.
29 (VUL) Eritque hoc vobis legitimum sempiternum: mense septimo, decima die mensis affligetis animas vestras nullumque facietis opus sive indigena sive advena, qui peregrinatur inter vos.
29 (UKJV) And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, all of you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourns among you:

30 (KAT) Lebo v tento deň sa budete zmierovať a očisťovať; očistíte sa od všetkých svojich hriechov pred Pánom.
30 (VUL) In hac die expiatio erit vestri atque mundatio; ab omnibus peccatis vestris coram Domino mundabimini.
30 (UKJV) For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that all of you may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

31 (KAT) Bude to pre vás deň úplného odpočinku a budete sa postiť. To je večné ustanovenie.
31 (VUL) Sabbatum requietionis est vobis, et affligetis animas vestras religione perpetua.
31 (UKJV) It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and all of you shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

32 (KAT) Obrady zmierenia vykoná veľkňaz, ktorý bol pomazaný a posvätený, aby slúžil namiesto svojho otca ako kňaz. Oblečie sa do ľanového rúcha, do posvätného rúcha,

32 (UKJV) And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's position, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:

33 (KAT) a vykoná zmierenie vo veľsvätyni; zmieri tiež stánok zjavenia a oltár a vykoná zmierenie kňazov a celej izraelskej pospolitosti.
33 (VUL) et expiabit sanctuarium sanctissimum et tabernaculum conventus atque altare, sacerdotes quoque et universum populum congregationis.
33 (UKJV) And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

34 (KAT) Toto bude pre vás večným ustanovením, aby raz do roka sprostredkoval zmierenie Izraelitom, aby sa zbavili všetkých svojich hriechov.“ A urobil tak, ako Mojžišovi nariadil Pán.
34 (VUL) Eritque hoc vobis legitimum sempiternum, ut expietis filios Israel a cunctis peccatis eorum semel in anno ”. Fecit igitur, sicut praeceperat Dominus Moysi.
34 (UKJV) And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.
