Kniha Levitikus

1 (KAR) Szólítá Mózest és beszéle vele az Úr a gyülekezet sátorából, mondván:
1 (UKJV) And the LORD called unto Moses, and spoke unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

2 (KAR) Szólj Izráel fiainak, és mondd meg nékik: Ha valaki közületek áldozni akar az Úrnak: barmokból, tulok- és juhfélékbõl áldozzatok.
2 (UKJV) Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, all of you shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

3 (KAR) Ha tulokfélébõl áldozik egészen égõáldozattal: hímmel és éppel áldozzék. A gyülekezet sátorának ajtajához vigye azt, hogy kedvessé legyen az Úr elõtt.
3 (UKJV) If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

4 (KAR) És tegye kezét az égõáldozat fejére, hogy kedves legyen õ érette, hogy engesztelést szerezzen az õ számára.
4 (UKJV) "And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. "

5 (KAR) És ölje meg a tulkot az Úr elõtt, az Áron fiai pedig, a papok, vigyék fel a vért, és hintsék a vért köröskörûl az oltárra, a mely a gyülekezet sátorának nyílásánál van.
5 (UKJV) And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

6 (KAR) Azután vonja le az égõáldozat bõrét, azt pedig vagdalja el tagjaira.
6 (UKJV) And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.

7 (KAR) És az Áron pap fiai gerjeszszenek tüzet az oltáron, és rakjanak fát a tûzre.
7 (UKJV) And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:

8 (KAR) Azután rakják az Áron fiai, a papok, a tagokat: a fejet és a kövérjét a fára, a mely az oltáron lévõ tûzön van.
8 (UKJV) And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

9 (KAR) A belét pedig és lábszárait mossa meg vízben, és füstölögtesse el a pap az egészet az oltáron egészen égõáldozatul. Ez a tûzáldozat kedves illatú az Úrnak.
9 (UKJV) But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

10 (KAR) Ha pedig a juhfélékbõl: bárányokból vagy kecskékbõl akar valaki áldozni égõáldozatul, hímmel és éppel áldozzék.
10 (UKJV) "And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish. "

11 (KAR) És ölje meg azt az oltár északi oldalánál az Úr elõtt, az Áron fiai pedig, a papok, hintsék annak vérét az oltárra köröskörül.
11 (UKJV) And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.

12 (KAR) Azután vagdalja el azt tagjaira, a fejével és kövérjével együtt, a pap pedig rakja azokat a fára, a mely az oltáron lévõ tûzön van.
12 (UKJV) And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

13 (KAR) A belet és a lábszárakat mossa meg vízben, a pap pedig áldozza meg az egészet és füstölögtesse el az oltáron égõáldozatul. Ez a tûzáldozat kedves illatú az Úrnak.
13 (UKJV) But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

14 (KAR) Ha pedig madárfélébõl akar áldozni égõáldozatul az Úrnak, gerliczékbõl vagy galambfiakból áldozzék.
14 (UKJV) And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

15 (KAR) És vigye azt a pap az oltárhoz, és tekerje ki annak a fejét, és füstölögtesse el az oltáron, a vérét pedig bocsássa ki az oltár falára.
15 (UKJV) "And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar: "

16 (KAR) A begyét pedig rútságával egyben vegye ki, és vesse azt az oltár keleti oldalára, a hamu helyére.
16 (UKJV) And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:

17 (KAR) És hasítsa meg azt a szárnyain, de el ne szakaszsza egymástól, és füstölögtesse el azt a pap az oltáron a fán, a mely a tûzõn van, égõáldozatul. Tûzáldozat ez, kedves illatú az Úrnak.
17 (UKJV) And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
