Oz 6, 1-11

1 (UKJV) "Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he has torn, and he will heal us; he has smitten, and he will bind us up. "

2 (UKJV) After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

3 (UKJV) "Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. "

4 (UKJV) O Ephraim, what shall I do unto you? O Judah, what shall I do unto you? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goes away.

5 (UKJV) "Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and your judgments are as the light that goes forth. "

6 (UKJV) "For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. "

7 (UKJV) But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

8 (UKJV) Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.

9 (UKJV) And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.

10 (UKJV) I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.

11 (UKJV) Also, O Judah, he has set an harvest for you, when I returned the captivity of my people.

Oz 6, 1-11

Verš 6
"For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. "
Mt 9:13 - But go all of you and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Mt 12:7 - But if all of you had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, all of you would not have condemned the guiltless.

Verš 7
But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
Oz 8:1 - Set the trumpet to your mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.

Oz 6,4 - Boh odstraňoval prostredníctvom prorokov ich hriechy a vynášal prísne výroky smrti proti hriešnikom.

Oz 6,6 - Vonkajšie náboženské úkony bez lásky sú bezcenné.

Oz 6,7 - "Tam" – rozumej: v krajine, ktorú im Boh dal podľa zmluvy.

Oz 6,8 - Galaád bola krajina zajordánska.

Oz 6,9 - Tento verš je veľmi nejasný. Nevieme, na aký zločin kňazov myslí tu prorok. – Sichem bolo útočištné mesto medzi vrchmi Garizim a Ebal. Dnes sa volá Nablus.

Oz 6,11 - Žatvou sa tu rozumie pohroma, stínanie národa. – Slová "Až obrátim osud svojho ľudu" možno preložiť tiež: "Až navrátim zajatcov svojho ľudu".
