Kniha proroka Ozeáša

1 (UKJV) "O israel, return unto the LORD your God; for you have fallen by your iniquity. "
1 (ROH) Navráťže sa, Izraelu, cele k Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu, lebo si klesol pre svoju neprávosť.

2 (UKJV) Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
2 (ROH) Vezmite si so sebou slová pokánia a navráťte sa k Hospodinovi, povedzte mu: Odpusti všetku neprávosť a vezmi dobré, a za pokojné obeti budeme obetovať juncov, svoje rty.

3 (UKJV) "Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, All of you are our gods: for in you the fatherless finds mercy. "
3 (ROH) Assúr nás nezachráni, nepojdeme na koňoch ani nepovieme viacej dielu svojich rúk: Náš Bôh; lebo len v tebe najde zľutovanie sirota.

4 (UKJV) I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
4 (ROH) Uzdravím ich odvrátenie, budem ich milovať dobrovoľne, lebo môj hnev sa odvráti od neho.

5 (UKJV) I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
5 (ROH) Budem Izraelovi jako rosa, bude kvitnúť ako ľalia a zapustí svoje korene jako Libanon.

6 (UKJV) His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
6 (ROH) Jeho mládniky sa rozídu, a jeho nádhera bude jako nádhera olivy, a jeho vôňa bude jako vôňa Libanona.

7 (UKJV) "They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. "
7 (ROH) Tí, ktorí sedia v jeho tôni, sa navrátia; oživia obilie, a sami budú kvitnúť ako vinič, ktorého pamiatka je ako pamiatka vína z Libanona.

8 (UKJV) Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is your fruit found.
8 (ROH) Efraim povie: Čo ja mám ešte s modlami?! A ja vyslyším a budem pozorovať na neho. Ja som ako zelená jedľa; zo mňa sa najde tvoje ovocie.

9 (UKJV) Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
9 (ROH) Kto je múdry, nech porozumie týmto veciam, rozumný, nech ich pozná! Lebo cesty Hospodinove sú priame, a spravedliví pojdú po nich, ale priestupníci klesnú na nich.
