Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KAT) Vtedy mi veľkým hlasom takto volal do uší: „Priblížil sa čas navštívenia mesta (a každý má v ruke nástroj ničenia).“
1 (VUL) Et clamavit in auribus meis voce magna dicens: “ Appro pinquaverunt visitationes urbis, et unusquisque vas interfectionis habet in manu sua ”.
1 (UKJV) He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

2 (KAT) A hľa, prichádzalo šesť mužov cestou od Hornej brány, ktorá hľadí na sever, a každý mal v ruke hubiaci nástroj! Medzi nimi bol však muž oblečený do plátna a za pásom mal pisárske náčinie. Prišli a postavili sa pri kovovom oltári.
2 (VUL) Et ecce sex viri veniebant de via portae superioris, quae respicit ad aquilonem, et uniuscuiusque vas interitus in manu eius; vir quoque unus in medio eorum vestitus lineis, et atramentarium scriptoris ad renes eius; et ingressi sunt et steterunt iuxta altare aereum.
2 (UKJV) "And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lies toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's ink holder by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar. "

3 (KAT) Sláva Pána Izraela sa zdvihla sponad cherubov, kde bola, k prahu domu. Vtom zavolal mužovi, oblečenému do plátna, ktorý mal za pásom pisárske náčinie.
3 (VUL) Et gloria Dei Israel elevata est de cherub, super quem erat, ad limen domus; et vocavit virum, qui indutus erat lineis et atramentarium scriptoris habebat in lumbis suis.
3 (UKJV) "And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's ink holder by his side; "

4 (KAT) A Pán mu povedal: „Prejdi cez mesto, cez Jeruzalem, a urob značku Tau na čelá mužov, ktorí vzdychajú a jajkajú nad rozličnými ohavnosťami, ktoré sa uprostred neho dejú.“
4 (VUL) Et dixit Dominus ad eum: “ Transi per mediam civitatem in medio Ierusalem et signa thau super frontes virorum gementium et dolentium super cunctis abominationibus, quae fiunt in medio eius ”.
4 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

5 (KAT) Tamtým však riekol tak, že som to počul: „Prejdite za ním po meste a zabíjajte! Nech sa vám oko nezmiluje a nešetrite.
5 (VUL) Et illis dixit, audiente me: “ Transite per civitatem sequentes eum et percutite; non parcat oculus vester, neque misereamini:
5 (UKJV) And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go all of you after him through the city, and strike: let not your eye spare, neither have all of you pity:

7 (KAT) I riekol im: „Poškvrňte dom a naplňte nádvorie zabitými! Choďte!“ Išli teda a zabíjali v meste.
7 (VUL) Et dixit ad eos: “Contaminate domum et implete atria interfectis. Egredimini ”. Et egressi sunt et percutiebant eos, qui erant in civitate.
7 (UKJV) And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go all of you forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

8 (KAT) Keď oni zabíjali a (iba) ja som ostal, padol som na tvár, volal som a vravel: „Ach Pane, Jahve, či vyničíš všetok zvyšok Izraela, keď vylievaš svoj hnev na Jeruzalem?“
8 (VUL) Et caede completa, remansi ego ruique super faciem meam et clamans aio: “Heu, Domine Deus! Ergone disperdes omnes reliquias Israel, effundens furorem tuum super Ierusalem? ”.
8 (UKJV) And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your fury upon Jerusalem?

9 (KAT) Nato mi riekol: „Hriech Izraela a Júdu je nadmieru veľký, krajina je presiaknutá krvou a mesto je plné neprávosti. Veď hovoria: »Pán opustil krajinu« a: »Pán nevidí.«
9 (VUL) Et dixit ad me: “ Iniquitas domus Israel et Iudae magna est nimis valde; et repleta est terra sanguinibus, et civitas repleta est iniustitia. Dixerunt enim: “Dereliquit Dominus terram, et Dominus non videt”;
9 (UKJV) Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD sees not.

10 (KAT) Nuž ani moje oko sa nezľutuje a nebudem šetriť, ich počínanie im uvalím na hlavu.“
10 (VUL) igitur et meus non parcet oculus, neque miserebor: viam eorum super caput eorum reddam ”.
10 (UKJV) And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

11 (KAT) Vtom hľa, človek odiaty plátnom, ktorý mal pero za pásom, podal hlásenie: „Urobil som, ako si mi rozkázal.“
11 (VUL) Et ecce vir, qui indutus erat lineis, qui habebat atramentarium in lumbis suis, respondit verbum dicens: “ Feci, sicut praecepisti mihi ”.
11 (UKJV) And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the ink holder by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you have commanded me.
