Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
1 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens:
1 (UKJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 (KAT) „Ty, syn človeka, (hovor): Toto vraví Pán, Jahve, Izraelovej krajine: Koniec prichádza, prichádza koniec na štyri končiny krajiny.
2 (VUL) “ Et tu, fili hominis, loquere. Haec dicit Dominus Deus terrae Israel: Finis venit, finis super quattuor plagas terrae;
2 (UKJV) "Also, you son of man, thus says the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end has come upon the four corners of the land. "

3 (KAT) Teraz prichádza koniec na teba, nuž vyšlem proti tebe svoj hnev, posúdim ťa podľa tvojich ciest a uvalím na teba všetky tvoje ohavnosti.
3 (VUL) nunc finis super te, et immittam furorem meum in te et iudicabo te iuxta vias tuas et ponam super te omnes abominationes tuas.
3 (UKJV) Now is the end come upon you, and I will send mine anger upon you, and will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense upon you all of your abominations.

4 (KAT) Oko sa mi nezmiluje nad tebou a nebudem šetriť, ale uvalím na teba tvoje cesty a tvoje ohavnosti budú uprostred teba i dozviete sa, že ja som Pán.
4 (VUL) Et non parcet oculus meus super te, et non miserebor, sed vias tuas ponam super te, et abominationes tuae in medio tui erunt, et scietis quia ego Dominus.
4 (UKJV) And mine eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense your ways upon you, and your abominations shall be in the midst of you: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

5 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Nešťastie, pozri, jediné nešťastie prichádza.
5 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Afflictio super afflictionem ecce venit.
5 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, has come. "

6 (KAT) Koniec prichádza, prichádza koniec, prebudil sa proti tebe, hľa, prichádza!
6 (VUL) Finis venit, venit finis; evigilavit adversum te, ecce venit.
6 (UKJV) "An end has come, the end has come: it watches for you; behold, it has come. "

7 (KAT) Dovršuje sa tvoja skaza, obyvateľ krajiny, prichádza čas, blízo je deň lomozu, a nie jasania na vrchoch.
7 (VUL) Venit contractio super te, qui habitas in terra; venit tempus, prope est dies turbationis et non iubilationis in montibus.
7 (UKJV) The morning has come unto you, O you that dwell in the land: the time has come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

8 (KAT) Teraz zblízka vylejem na teba svoj zápal a vyplním na tebe svoj hnev, posúdim ťa podľa tvojich ciest a uvalím na teba všetky tvoje ohavnosti.
8 (VUL) Nunc de propinquo effundam iram meam super te et complebo furorem meum in te et iudicabo te iuxta vias tuas et imponam tibi omnia scelera tua;
8 (UKJV) Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon you, and accomplish mine anger upon you: and I will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense you for all of your abominations.

9 (KAT) Moje oko sa nezmiluje a nebudem šetriť, ale uvalím na teba tvoje cesty a tvoje ohavnosti budú uprostred teba. Vtedy budete vedieť, že ja som Pán, ktorý bije.
9 (VUL) et non parcet oculus meus, nec miserebor, sed vias tuas imponam tibi, et abominationes tuae in medio tui erunt, et scietis quia ego sum Dominus percutiens.
9 (UKJV) "And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense you according to your ways and your abominations that are in the midst of you; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD that strikes. "

10 (KAT) Hľa, deň! Hľa, prichádza! Vychádza osud(?), kvitne prút, klíči namyslenosť!
10 (VUL) Ecce dies, ecce venit; egressa est contractio, floruit iniustitia, germinavit superbia;
10 (UKJV) "Behold the day, behold, it has come: the morning is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded. "

11 (KAT) Násilie vzrástlo na prút zločinu. Nič nie je z nich ani z ich majetku, ani z ich lomozu. Nič skvelého na nich niet.
11 (VUL) violentia surrexit, ut esset virga impietatis: non ex eis et non ex pompa eorum neque ex sonitu eorum; et non erit requies in eis.
11 (UKJV) Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their's: neither shall there be wailing for them.

12 (KAT) Prichádza čas, blíži sa deň; kto kupuje, nech sa neteší, a kto predáva, nech nežiali, lebo hnev je nad celým jeho zástupom.
12 (VUL) Venit tempus, appropinquavit dies: qui emit, non laetetur; et, qui vendit, non lugeat, quia ira super omnem pompam eius.
12 (UKJV) The time has come, the day draws near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

13 (KAT) Veď ten, čo predal, nevráti sa k predanej veci, i keď ešte bude nažive, lebo proroctvo proti celému jeho zástupu neodstúpi. Zločinom si nik neposilní život.
13 (VUL) Quia, qui vendit, ad id quod vendidit non revertetur, cum adhuc sit in viventibus vita eorum. Visio enim ad omnem pompam eius non regredietur, et unusquisque in iniquitate sua vitam suam non confortabit.
13 (UKJV) "For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is concerning the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life. "

14 (KAT) Trúbte na trúbu a zbrojte všetko, jednako niet, kto by šiel do boja, pretože môj hnev je nad celým jeho zástupom.
14 (VUL) Canite tuba, praeparentur omnia, sed non est qui vadat ad proelium; ira enim mea super universam pompam eius.
14 (UKJV) "They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goes to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. "

15 (KAT) Meč je vonku, mor a hlad vnútri. Kto je v poli, zomrie pod mečom, a kto je v meste, pohltí ho hlad a mor.
15 (VUL) Gladius foris, pestis et fames intrinsecus. Qui in agro est, gladio morietur; et, qui in civitate, fame et pestilentia devorabuntur.
15 (UKJV) "The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. "

16 (KAT) Ak uniknú z nich zachránenci, budú na vrchoch ako hrkútajúce holuby, pomrú všetci, každý pre svoj hriech.
16 (VUL) Et salvabuntur, qui fugerint ex eis, et erunt in montibus quasi columbae convallium omnes gementes, unusquisque in iniquitate sua.
16 (UKJV) But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

17 (KAT) Všetky ruky ovisnú a všetky kolená sa roztečú ako voda.
17 (VUL) Omnes manus dissolventur, et omnia genua fluent aquis.
17 (UKJV) All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

18 (KAT) Opášu sa vrecovinami a pokryje ich hrôza; na každej tvári bude hanba a na každej hlave plešina.
18 (VUL) Et accingent se ciliciis, et operiet eos formido; et in omni facie confusio, et in universis capitibus eorum calvitium.
18 (UKJV) "They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads. "

19 (KAT) Svoje striebro vyhodia na ulicu, ich zlato sa obráti na nečistotu. Ich striebro a zlato nevládze ich zachrániť, v deň Pánovho hnevu si (ním) nezasýtia dušu a nenaplnia vnútornosti. Lebo im bolo osídlom na hriech,
19 (VUL) Argentum suum foras proicient, et aurum eorum in immunditiam erit; argentum eorum et aurum eorum non valebit liberare eos in die furoris Domini; animam suam non saturabunt, et ventres eorum non implebuntur, quia scandalum iniquitatis eorum factum est,
19 (UKJV) They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity.

20 (KAT) jeho ozdobný skvost obrátili na pýchu, robili z neho svoje ohavné obrazy a svoje ošklivosti, preto im ho obrátim na nečistotu.
20 (VUL) et ornamentum monilium suorum in superbiam posuerunt et imagines abominationum suarum et simulacrorum fecerunt ex eo; propter hoc dedi eis illud in immunditiam.
20 (UKJV) As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.

21 (KAT) A vydám ho za korisť do ruky cudzincov a zločincov zeme ako plen, aby ho znesvätili.
21 (VUL) Et dabo illud in manus alienorum ad diripiendum et impiis terrae in praedam, et contaminabunt illud.
21 (UKJV) "And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it. "

22 (KAT) Odvrátim si od nich tvár a znesvätím môj skvost. Lúpežníci vniknú doň a znesvätia ho.
22 (VUL) Et avertam faciem meam ab eis, et violabunt thesaurum meum absconditum; et introibunt in illud praedones et contaminabunt illud
22 (UKJV) My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

23 (KAT) Urob reťaz! Veď zem je preplnená vinou krvi a mesto je plné násilia!
23 (VUL) et facient ex illo catenas; quoniam terra plena est iudicio sanguinum, et civitas plena iniquitate.
23 (UKJV) Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

24 (KAT) Privediem najhoršie z národov a zaujmú im domy. Urobím koniec pýche mocných a ich svätyne budú zneuctené.
24 (VUL) Et adducam pessimos de gentibus, et possidebunt domos eorum; et quiescere faciam superbiam potentium, et possidebunt sanctuaria eorum.
24 (UKJV) "Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled. "

25 (KAT) Príde úzkosť. Budú hľadať pokoj, ale nebude ho.
25 (VUL) Angustia superveniente, requirent pacem, et non erit.
25 (UKJV) "Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. "

26 (KAT) Príde nešťastie za nešťastím a chýr za chýrom. Budú hľadať videnie u proroka, kňaz stratí zákon a starec radu.
26 (VUL) Calamitas super calamitatem veniet, et auditus super auditum; et quaerent visionem de propheta, et lex peribit a sacerdote, et consilium a senioribus.
26 (UKJV) "Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients. "

27 (KAT) Kráľ bude smútiť, knieža sa oblečie do hrôzy a ruky pospolitého ľudu sa budú triasť. Naložím s nimi podľa ich ciest a podľa ich pokračovania ich budem súdiť, i dozvedia sa, že ja som Pán.“
27 (VUL) Rex lugebit, et princeps induetur horrore, et manus populi terrae conturbabuntur. Secundum viam eorum faciam eis et secundum iudicia eorum iudicabo eos, et scient quia ego Dominus ”.
27 (UKJV) "The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD. "
