Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
1 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens:
1 (UKJV) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, obráť si tvár proti vrchom Izraela a prorokuj proti nim.
2 (VUL) “ Fili hominis, pone faciem tuam ad montes Israel et prophetabis ad eos
2 (UKJV) Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

3 (KAT) A povedz: Vrchy Izraela, čujte slovo Pána, Jahveho! Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve, vrchom a kopcom, riečištiam a údoliam: Hľa, ja privediem na vás meč a znivočím vaše výšiny!
3 (VUL) et dices: Montes Israel, audite verbum Domini Dei. Haec dicit Dominus Deus montibus et collibus, voraginibus et vallibus: Ecce ego inducam super vos gladium et destruam excelsa vestra;
3 (UKJV) "And say, All of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places. "

4 (KAT) Vaše oltáre spustnú, vaše chamány sa dolámu a vašich pozabíjaných pohádžem pred vaše modly.
4 (VUL) et demoliar aras vestras, et confringentur delubra vestra, et deiciam interfectos vestros ante idola vestra.
4 (UKJV) And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

5 (VUL) Et dabo cadavera filiorum Israel ante faciem simulacrorum vestrorum et dispergam ossa vestra circum aras vestras;
5 (UKJV) "And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars. "

6 (KAT) Vo všetkých vašich sídliskách sa vám porúcajú mestá a spustnú výšiny. Aby spustli a zahynuli vaše oltáre, dolámu sa a zhynú vaše modly, porozbíjané budú vaše chamány a zotreté vaše diela.
6 (VUL) in omnibus habitationibus vestris urbes desertae erunt, et excelsa demolientur, ut dissipentur et intereant arae vestrae, et confringantur et cessent idola vestra, et conterantur delubra vestra, et deleantur opera vestra.
6 (UKJV) "In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished. "

7 (KAT) Zabíjaní budú padať vo vašom strede a budete vedieť, že ja som Pán.
7 (VUL) Et cadet interfectus in medio vestri, et scietis quia ego Dominus.
7 (UKJV) And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

8 (KAT) A keď budete mať medzi národmi takých, čo unikli meču, keď vás roztratím do krajín,
8 (VUL) Et relinquam in vobis eos, qui fugerint gladium in gentibus, cum dispersero vos in terris;
8 (UKJV) Yet will I leave a remnant, that all of you may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when all of you shall be scattered through the countries.

9 (KAT) spomenú si vaši uniknutí na mňa medzi národmi, kde sú zajatí, lebo zlomím ich smilné srdce, ktoré odpadlo odo mňa, aj ich oči, ktoré smilnili s modlami. Sami sebe sa budú hnusiť pre zločiny, ktoré popáchali, pre všetky svoje ohavnosti.
9 (VUL) et recordabuntur mei liberati vestri in gentibus, ad quas captivi ducti sunt, quia contrivi cor eorum fornicans et recedens a me, et oculos eorum fornicantes post idola sua; et displicebunt sibimet super malis, quae fecerunt in universis abominationibus suis,
9 (UKJV) And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

10 (KAT) I budú vedieť, že ja som Pán a nie nadarmo som povedal, že dopustím na nich toto nešťastie.“
10 (VUL) et scient quia ego Dominus non frustra locutus sum, ut facerem eis malum hoc.
10 (UKJV) And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

11 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: „Tlieskaj rukami, dupkaj nohami a vrav: »Ach!« pre všetky zločinné ohavnosti Izraelovho domu, ktorý padne pod mečom, od hladu a na mor.
11 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Plaude manu tua et percute pede tuo et dic: Heu ad omnes abominationes malas domus Israel, quia gladio, fame et peste ruituri sunt!
11 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. "

12 (KAT) Kto je ďaleko, zomrie na mor, kto je blízko, padne pod mečom a kto zostane a bude obliehaný, zomrie od hladu. Vyplním na nich svoj hnev.
12 (VUL) Qui longe est, peste morietur; qui autem prope, gladio corruet; et, qui relictus fuerit et obsessus, fame morietur, et complebo indignationem meam in eis.
12 (UKJV) "He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them. "

13 (KAT) I budete vedieť, že ja som Pán, keď budú vaši zabití medzi vašimi modlami okolo vašich oltárov na každom vysokom kopci a na všetkých hrebeňoch vrchov, pod každým zeleným stromom a pod každou hustolistou terebintou, na mieste, kde svojim modlám poskytovali ľúbeznú vôňu.
13 (VUL) Et scietis quia ego Dominus, cum fuerint interfecti eorum in medio idolorum suorum, in circuitu ararum suarum, in omni colle excelso, in cunctis summitatibus montium et subtus omne lignum nemorosum et subtus universam quercum frondosam, locum ubi obtulerunt tura redolentia universis idolis suis.
13 (UKJV) Then shall all of you know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

14 (KAT) Vystriem proti nim svoju ruku, krajinu obrátim na pustatinu a púšť od stepi po Deblatu po všetkých ich bydliskách. Budú teda vedieť, že ja som Pán.“
14 (VUL) Et extendam manum meam super eos et faciam terram desolatam et destitutam a deserto usque Rebla in omnibus habitationibus eorum, et scient quia ego Dominus ”.
14 (UKJV) So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
