1 (KAT) A ty, syn človeka, prorokuj proti Gogovi a vrav: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, ja som proti tebe, Gog, veľknieža Mosocha a Tubala!
1 (VUL) Tu autem, fili hominis, va ticinare adversum Gog et dices: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego super te, Gog, principem summum Mosoch e Thubal;
1 (UKJV) "Therefore, you son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: "

2 (KAT) Zavrátim ťa a budem ťa viesť. Vyvediem ťa z končín severu a zavediem ťa na vrchy Izraela.
2 (VUL) et circumagam te et seducam te et ascendere faciam de extremo aquilone et adducam te super montes Israel.
2 (UKJV) And I will turn you back, and leave but the sixth part of you, and will cause you to come up from the north parts, and will bring you upon the mountains of Israel:

3 (KAT) Z ľavej ruky ti vyrazím luk a z pravej ruky ti vypichnem šípy.
3 (VUL) Et percutiam arcum tuum in manu sinistra tua et sagittas tuas de manu dextera tua deiciam.
3 (UKJV) And I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand.

4 (KAT) Na vrchoch Izraela padneš ty i početné národy; ktoré sú s tebou. Dravým vtákom, rozličným okrídlencom a zverom poľa ťa dám za pokrm.
4 (VUL) Super montes Israel cades, tu et omnia agmina tua et populi, qui sunt tecum; feris avibus, omni volatili et bestiis terrae dedi te devorandum:
4 (UKJV) You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you, and all your bands, and the people that is with you: I will give you unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

5 (KAT) Padneš na otvorenom poli, pretože ja som prehovoril, hovorí Pán, Jahve.
5 (VUL) super faciem agri cades, quia ego locutus sum, ait Dominus Deus.
5 (UKJV) You shall fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD.

6 (KAT) Vtedy pošlem oheň na Magoga a na tých, čo bývajú v bezpečí na pobrežiach, i budú vedieť, že ja som Pán.
6 (VUL) Et emittam ignem in Magog et in his, qui habitant in insulis confidenter, et scient quia ego Dominus.
6 (UKJV) And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

7 (KAT) Svoje sväté meno zjavím uprostred svojho ľudu Izraela a nedám viac znesväcovať svoje sväté meno; i budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, Svätý v Izraeli.
7 (VUL) Et nomen sanctum meum notum faciam in medio populi mei Israel et non polluam nomen sanctum meum amplius, et scient gentes quia ego Dominus, sanctus in Israel.
7 (UKJV) "So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. "

8 (KAT) Hľa, príde a stane sa to, hovorí Pán, Jahve. To je deň, o ktorom som hovoril.
8 (VUL) Ecce venit et fit, ait Dominus Deus; haec est dies, de qua locutus sum.

9 (KAT) Vtedy vyrazia obyvatelia izraelských miest, zažnú a spália výstroj, štíty, pavézy, kuše, šípy, ručné kyje a kopije; sedem rokov budú nimi zakladať oheň.
9 (VUL) Et egredientur habitatores de civitatibus Israel et succendent et comburent arma, clipeum et scutum, arcum et sagittas et baculos, manus et contos, et succendent ea igne septem annis.
9 (UKJV) And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the hand staffs, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

10 (KAT) Nebudú nosiť drevo z poľa ani nebudú vytínať v horách, pretože budú klásť oheň výstrojom. Vtedy vykoristia tých, čo ich vykoristili, a vyplienia tých, čo ich plienili, hovorí Pán, Jahve.
10 (VUL) Et non portabunt ligna de campis neque succident de saltibus, quoniam arma succendent igne et depraedabuntur eos, quibus praedae fuerant, et diripient vastatores suos, ait Dominus Deus.
10 (UKJV) "So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, says the Lord GOD. "

13 (UKJV) "Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, says the Lord GOD. "

14 (KAT) Vyberú stálych mužov, ktorí poprechodia krajinu a budú pochovávať pútnikov a tých, čo ostali na povrchu zeme, aby ju očistili.
14 (VUL) Et viros iugiter constituent lustrantes terram, qui sepeliant eos, qui remanserant super faciem terrae, ut emundent eam; post menses autem septem quaerere incipient
14 (UKJV) And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.

15 (VUL) et circuibunt peragrantes terram; cumque viderint os hominis, statuent iuxta illud titulum, donec sepeliant illud pollinctores in valle Multitudinis Gog.
15 (UKJV) And the passengers that pass through the land, when any sees a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog.

16 (KAT) Aj meno mesta je Amon. Zem však bude očistená.
16 (VUL) Nomen quoque civitatis Amona, et mundabunt terram.
16 (UKJV) And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

17 (KAT) Ty však, syn človeka! Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Povedz vtákom rôznych druhov a rozličným zverom poľa: Zhromaždite sa a poďte; zíďte sa zo všetkých strán na obetu, ktorú vám ja pripravím; na veľkú obetu na vrchoch Izraela. Budete jesť mäso a piť krv.
17 (VUL) Tu ergo, fili hominis, haec dicit Dominus Deus, dic volucri, universis avibus cunctisque bestiis agri: Convenite, properate, concurrite undique ad victimam meam, quam ego immolo vobis, victimam grandem super montes Israel, ut comedatis carnes et bibatis sanguinem.
17 (UKJV) "And, you son of man, thus says the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that all of you may eat flesh, and drink blood. "

18 (KAT) Mäso hrdinov budete jesť a krv kniežat zeme budete piť; sú to všetko barani, baránkovia, capi a tuční býci Bášanu.

19 (UKJV) And all of you shall eat fat till all of you be full, and drink blood till all of you be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

20 (KAT) A nasýtite sa pri mojom stole z koní a jazdcov, z hrdinov a rozličných bojovníkov; hovorí Pán, Jahve.
20 (VUL) Et saturabimini super mensam meam de equo et de iugali currus, de forti et de universis viris bellatoribus, ait Dominus Deus.
20 (UKJV) Thus all of you shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, says the Lord GOD.

21 (KAT) Zanesiem svoju slávu medzi národy a uvidia všetky národy môj súd, ktorý prevediem, a moju ruku, ktorú na nich položím.
21 (VUL) Et ponam gloriam meam in gentibus, et videbunt omnes gentes iudicium meum, quod fecerim, et manum meam, quam posuerim super eos;
21 (UKJV) And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

22 (KAT) A dom Izraela bude vedieť, že ja som Pán, ich Boh od toho času i naďalej.
22 (VUL) et scient domus Israel quia ego Dominus Deus eorum a die illa et deinceps,
22 (UKJV) So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

23 (UKJV) And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

24 (UKJV) According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

25 (VUL) Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus: Nunc restituam Iacob et miserebor omnis domus Israel et assumam zelum pro nomine sancto meo.
25 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; "

26 (KAT) A ponesú svoju hanbu a svoju spreneveru, ktorou sa mi spreneverili, keď budú v bezpečí bývať na svojej pôde a nik ich nevydesí,
26 (VUL) Et portabunt confusionem suam et omnem praevaricationem, quam praevaricati sunt in me, cum habitaverint in terra sua confidenter; et nemo erit qui exterreat.
26 (UKJV) After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

28 (VUL) et scient quia ego Dominus Deus eorum, eo quod transtulerim eos in nationes et congregaverim eos super terram suam et non dereliquerim quemquam ex eis ibi.
28 (UKJV) Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 (KAT) A už nikdy neskryjem pred nimi svoju tvár, pretože vylejem svojho ducha na Izraelov dom,“ hovorí Pán, Jahve.
29 (VUL) Et non abscondam ultra faciem meam ab eis, eo quod effuderim spiritum meum super domum Israel ”, ait Dominus Deus.
