Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KJV) Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
1 (KAT) A ty, syn človeka, prorokuj proti Gogovi a vrav: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, ja som proti tebe, Gog, veľknieža Mosocha a Tubala!

2 (KJV) And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
2 (KAT) Zavrátim ťa a budem ťa viesť. Vyvediem ťa z končín severu a zavediem ťa na vrchy Izraela.

3 (KJV) And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
3 (KAT) Z ľavej ruky ti vyrazím luk a z pravej ruky ti vypichnem šípy.

4 (KJV) Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
4 (KAT) Na vrchoch Izraela padneš ty i početné národy; ktoré sú s tebou. Dravým vtákom, rozličným okrídlencom a zverom poľa ťa dám za pokrm.

5 (KJV) Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
5 (KAT) Padneš na otvorenom poli, pretože ja som prehovoril, hovorí Pán, Jahve.

6 (KJV) And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
6 (KAT) Vtedy pošlem oheň na Magoga a na tých, čo bývajú v bezpečí na pobrežiach, i budú vedieť, že ja som Pán.

7 (KJV) So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
7 (KAT) Svoje sväté meno zjavím uprostred svojho ľudu Izraela a nedám viac znesväcovať svoje sväté meno; i budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, Svätý v Izraeli.

8 (KJV) Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
8 (KAT) Hľa, príde a stane sa to, hovorí Pán, Jahve. To je deň, o ktorom som hovoril.

9 (KJV) And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
9 (KAT) Vtedy vyrazia obyvatelia izraelských miest, zažnú a spália výstroj, štíty, pavézy, kuše, šípy, ručné kyje a kopije; sedem rokov budú nimi zakladať oheň.

10 (KJV) So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
10 (KAT) Nebudú nosiť drevo z poľa ani nebudú vytínať v horách, pretože budú klásť oheň výstrojom. Vtedy vykoristia tých, čo ich vykoristili, a vyplienia tých, čo ich plienili, hovorí Pán, Jahve.

11 (KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.
11 (KAT) V ten deň dám Gogovi významné miesto na hrob v Izraeli, Údolie priechodu východne od mora. Zhrozia sa tam cestujúci; pochovajú tam Goga i celý jeho zástup a nazvú ho Údolie Gogovho zástupu.

12 (KJV) And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.
12 (KAT) Pochová ich Izraelov dom, aby za sedem mesiacov očistili krajinu.

13 (KJV) Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
13 (KAT) Pochová ich všetok ľud krajiny a bude im to na chválu v deň, keď sa oslávim, hovorí Pán, Jahve.

14 (KJV) And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
14 (KAT) Vyberú stálych mužov, ktorí poprechodia krajinu a budú pochovávať pútnikov a tých, čo ostali na povrchu zeme, aby ju očistili.

15 (KJV) And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.
15 (KAT) Oni budú prechádzať krajinou, a keď uvidia ľudskú kosť, vytýčia pri nej znak, kým ju hrobári nepochovajú v Údolí Gogovho zástupu.

16 (KJV) And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
16 (KAT) Aj meno mesta je Amon. Zem však bude očistená.

17 (KJV) And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
17 (KAT) Ty však, syn človeka! Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Povedz vtákom rôznych druhov a rozličným zverom poľa: Zhromaždite sa a poďte; zíďte sa zo všetkých strán na obetu, ktorú vám ja pripravím; na veľkú obetu na vrchoch Izraela. Budete jesť mäso a piť krv.

18 (KJV) Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
18 (KAT) Mäso hrdinov budete jesť a krv kniežat zeme budete piť; sú to všetko barani, baránkovia, capi a tuční býci Bášanu.

19 (KJV) And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
19 (KAT) Najete sa tuku dosýta a napijete sa krvi do opojenia z obety, ktorú vám pripravím.

20 (KJV) Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
20 (KAT) A nasýtite sa pri mojom stole z koní a jazdcov, z hrdinov a rozličných bojovníkov; hovorí Pán, Jahve.

21 (KJV) And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
21 (KAT) Zanesiem svoju slávu medzi národy a uvidia všetky národy môj súd, ktorý prevediem, a moju ruku, ktorú na nich položím.

22 (KJV) So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
22 (KAT) A dom Izraela bude vedieť, že ja som Pán, ich Boh od toho času i naďalej.

23 (KJV) And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
23 (KAT) Národy budú vedieť, že Izraelov dom bol zajatý pre svoje hriechy, pretože sa mi spreneverili; skryl som si pred nimi tvár a vydal som ich do ruky ich nepriateľa, takže všetci padli pod mečom.

24 (KJV) According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
24 (KAT) Naložil som s nimi podľa ich nečistoty a ich hriechov a skryl som si pred nimi tvár.

25 (KJV) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
25 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Teraz obrátim osud Jakuba a zmilujem sa nad celým domom Izraela a horliť budem za svoje meno.

26 (KJV) After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
26 (KAT) A ponesú svoju hanbu a svoju spreneveru, ktorou sa mi spreneverili, keď budú v bezpečí bývať na svojej pôde a nik ich nevydesí,

27 (KJV) When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
27 (KAT) keď ich privediem späť od národov a pozbieram ich z krajín ich nepriateľov a pred očami početných národov ukážem na nich, že som svätý.

28 (KJV) Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which cause them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
28 (KAT) Vtedy budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, ich Boh, pretože som ich dal do zajatia medzi národy, ale pozbieral som ich do krajiny a nikoho z nich som tam nenechal.

29 (KJV) Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
29 (KAT) A už nikdy neskryjem pred nimi svoju tvár, pretože vylejem svojho ducha na Izraelov dom,“ hovorí Pán, Jahve.
