Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (UKJV) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:

2 (UKJV) Son of man, set your face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, obráť si tvár proti Gogovi v krajine Magog, veľkniežaťu Mosocha a Tubala, a prorokuj proti nemu.

3 (UKJV) "And say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: "
3 (KAT) Povedz: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, ja som proti tebe, Gog, veľknieža Mosocha a Tubala.

4 (UKJV) And I will turn you back, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you forth, and all of your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
4 (KAT) Zavrátim ťa a dám ti krúžky do čeľuste, tak vyvediem teba i celé tvoje vojsko, kone i jazdcov, všetkých v plnom výstroji, veľký zástup so štítmi a pavézami, všetkých, čo sa chápu meča.

5 (UKJV) "Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: "
5 (KAT) Peržania, Etiópci a Pút sú s nimi, všetci so štítom a prilbou.

6 (UKJV) "Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with you. "
6 (KAT) Gomer a všetky jeho tlupy, dom Togormu, končiny severu i všetky jeho tlupy; mnohé národy sú s tebou.

7 (UKJV) Be you prepared, and prepare for yourself, you, and all your company that are assembled unto you, and be you a guard unto them.
7 (KAT) Chystaj sa a zbroj ty i celý tvoj zástup, ktorý sa zhromaždil k tebe, a budeš im veliteľom.

8 (UKJV) After many days you shall be visited: in the latter years you shall come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
8 (KAT) Po mnohých dňoch dostaneš rozkaz, na konci rokov prídeš do krajiny vrátenej od meča, zhromaždenej z mnohých národov na vrchoch Izraela, ktoré boli ustavične spustnuté; z národov bola vyvedená, všetci bývajú v bezpečí.

9 (UKJV) You shall ascend and come like a storm, you shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you, and all your bands, and many people with you.
9 (KAT) Potom vystúpiš, prídeš ako víchrica, budeš ako oblak, aby si pokryl zem, ty i všetky tvoje tlupy a mnohé národy s tebou.

10 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into your mind, and you shall think an evil thought: "
10 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: V ten deň ti prídu na myseľ veci, vyhútaš si zlý plán

11 (UKJV) "And you shall say, I will go up to the land of villages without protective walls; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, "
11 (KAT) a povieš: „Pôjdem proti krajine bez ohrád, pôjdem proti pokojným, ktorí bývajú v bezpečí, všetci bývajú na miestach bez múrov a nemajú závory ani dvere,“

12 (UKJV) "To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn your hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have got cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. "
12 (KAT) aby si koristil korisť a plienil plen, aby si vystrel ruku proti zaľudneným zboreniskám a proti ľudu zhromaždenému z národov, ktorý získal imanie a majetok a bývajú v prostriedku zeme.

13 (UKJV) Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto you, Are you come to take a spoil? have you gathered your company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
13 (KAT) Sába, Dedan a kupci Taršišu a všetci jeho levi ti budú vravieť: »Prichádzaš koristiť korisť? Zhromaždil si zástup, aby si plienil plen? Aby si odniesol striebro a zlato? Aby si zobral imanie a majetok?«

14 (UKJV) "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus says the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwells safely, shall you not know it? "
14 (KAT) Preto prorokuj, syn človeka, a povedz Gogovi: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Vari sa nezdvihneš v ten deň, keď bude môj ľud, Izrael, bývať v bezpečí?

15 (UKJV) And you shall come from your place out of the north parts, you, and many people with you, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
15 (KAT) Prídeš zo svojho sídla, z končín severu, ty a s tebou mnohé národy, všetko jazdci na koňoch, veľký zástup a početné vojsko.

16 (UKJV) "And you shall come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring you against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes. "
16 (KAT) A vystúpiš proti môjmu ľudu, Izraelu, ako oblak, aby si zakryl zem. Bude to na konci dní, vtedy ťa privediem proti svojej krajine, aby ma poznali národy, keď pred ich očami na tebe, Gog, ukážem, že som svätý.

17 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; Are you he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring you against them? "
17 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Si to ty, o kom som hovoril v dávnych dňoch prostredníctvom svojich sluhov, prorokov Izraela, ktorí v tých dňoch roky prorokovali, že ťa privediem proti nim?

18 (UKJV) And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, says the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
18 (KAT) V ten deň však, v deň príchodu Goga na izraelskú pôdu - hovorí Pán, Jahve -, vzblčí mi tvár hnevom.

19 (UKJV) "For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; "
19 (KAT) A vo svojej žiarlivosti, v ohni svojej prchlivosti hovorím: Veruže v ten deň bude v krajine Izraela veľké zemetrasenie.

20 (UKJV) So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
20 (KAT) Vtedy sa budú predo mnou triasť ryby mora a vtáci nebies, zverina poľa a všetky plazy, ktoré sa plazia po zemi, i všetci ľudia, čo sú na zemi; zrúcajú sa vrchy, popadajú bralá a každý múr sa zvalí na zem.

21 (UKJV) And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, says the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
21 (KAT) I zavolám na celom svojom pohorí proti nemu meč - hovorí Pán, Jahve -, muž proti mužovi obráti meč.

22 (UKJV) "And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. "
22 (KAT) Budem sa s ním pravotiť pomocou moru a krvi; záplave dažďa, kameňom krupobitia, ohňu a síre dám padať naň, na jeho tlupy a na mnohé národy, ktoré sú s ním.

23 (UKJV) "Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. "
23 (KAT) Zvelebím, posvätím a oslávim sa pred očami mnohých národov a budú vedieť, že ja som Pán.
