Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KJV) The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
1 (KAT) Vzniesla sa nado mňa ruka Pána, vyviedol ma v Pánovom duchu a postavil ma uprostred údolia, ktoré bolo plné kostí.

2 (KJV) And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
2 (KAT) I viedol ma zôkol-vôkol popri nich, bolo ich na povrchu údolia veľmi mnoho a boli celkom zoschnuté.

3 (KJV) And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
3 (KAT) A riekol mi: „Syn človeka, ožijú tieto kosti?“ Odpovedal som: „Pane, Bože, to ty vieš.“

4 (KJV) Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
4 (KAT) Povedal mi: „Prorokuj o týchto kostiach a povedz im: Suché kosti, počujte slovo Pánovo:

5 (KJV) Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
5 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Boh, týmto kostiam: Hľa, ja vložím do vás ducha, že ožijete!

6 (KJV) And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
6 (KAT) Pokladiem na vás žily, poobkladám vás mäsom, obtiahnem vás kožou, vložím do vás ducha, že ožijete a dozviete sa, že ja som Pán.“

7 (KJV) So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
7 (KAT) Prorokoval som teda, ako som dostal rozkaz. A kým som prorokoval, zaznel hlas a strhol sa lomoz: kosti sa zbližovali, každá kosť k svojmu stavcu.

8 (KJV) And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
8 (KAT) Videl som, ako sa na ne uložili žily a mäso a na povrchu sa im natiahla koža, ale ducha v nich nebolo!

9 (KJV) Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
9 (KAT) I prehovoril ku mne: „Prorokuj o duchu, prorokuj, syn človeka; prehovor k duchu: Toto hovorí Pán, Boh: Duchu, príď od štyroch vetrov a ovej týchto pozabíjaných, nech ožijú!“

10 (KJV) So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
10 (KAT) Prorokoval som teda, ako mi rozkázal; vtom vstúpil do nich duch a ožili. I postavili sa na nohy, vojsko nadmieru veľké.

11 (KJV) Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
11 (KAT) Nato mi povedal: „Syn človeka, tieto kosti, to je celý Izraelov dom. Oni hovoria: »Zoschli nám kosti, nádej nám odumrela, sme vykynožení.«

12 (KJV) Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
12 (KAT) Preto prorokuj a povedz im: Toto hovorí Pán, Boh: Hľa, ja pootváram vaše hroby, vyvediem vás z hrobov, ľud môj a vovediem vás do izraelskej krajiny.

13 (KJV) And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
13 (KAT) I budete vedieť, že ja som Pán, keď vám pootváram hroby a povyvádzam vás z hrobov, ľud môj.

14 (KJV) And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
14 (KAT) Vložím do vás svojho ducha, že ožijete, a dám vám odpočinúť na vlastnej pôde. A budete vedieť, že ja, Pán, som to riekol a splnil,“ hovorí Pán.

15 (KJV) The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
15 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:

16 (KJV) Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
16 (KAT) „A ty, syn človeka, vezmi si drevo a napíš naň: »Júdovo a jeho spojencov, synov Izraela.« A vezmi druhé drevo a napíš naň: »Jozefovo - drevo Efraima - a jeho spojencov, celého domu Izraela.«

17 (KJV) And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
17 (KAT) A spoj ich vzájomne v jedno drevo, aby boli jedným v tvojej ruke.

18 (KJV) And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
18 (KAT) A keď sa ťa synovia tvojho ľudu budú vypytovať: »Neoznámiš nám, čo tým chceš?«,

19 (KJV) Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
19 (KAT) povedz im: Toto vraví Pán, Jahve: Hľa, ja vezmem Jozefovo drevo, ktoré je v Efraimovej ruke, a s ním spojené kmene Izraela, zložím ich spolu s drevom Júdovým a urobím z nich jedno drevo; jedným sa stanú v mojej ruke.

20 (KJV) And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
20 (KAT) Drevá, na ktoré píšeš, nech sú v tvojich rukách pred ich očami.

21 (KJV) And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
21 (KAT) A hovor im: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, ja vezmem Izraelových synov spomedzi národov, medzi ktoré išli, pozbieram ich zo všetkých strán a privediem ich na ich zem.

22 (KJV) And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
22 (KAT) A urobím ich jedným národom v krajine, na vrchoch Izraela; všetci budú mať jedného kráľa za panovníka, už nebudú viac dvoma národmi, ani viac nebudú rozdelení na dve kráľovstvá.

23 (KJV) Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
23 (KAT) Ani sa viac nebudú poškvrňovať svojimi modlami, svojimi ohavnosťami a všelijakými svojimi hriechmi, vyslobodím ich zo všetkých sídiel, v ktorých sa prehrešili, očistím ich a budú mojím ľudom, ja však budem ich Bohom.

24 (KJV) And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
24 (KAT) Môj sluha Dávid bude nad nimi kráľom a všetci budú mať jedného pastiera; budú kráčať podľa mojich výrokov, budú zachovávať moje nariadenia a budú ich prevádzať.

25 (KJV) And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
25 (KAT) Budú bývať v krajine, ktorú som dal ich sluhovi Jakubovi, v ktorej bývali vaši otcovia. V nej budú bývať oni, ich deti a ich detné deti naveky a môj sluha Dávid im bude kniežaťom naveky.

26 (KJV) Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
26 (KAT) Potom s nimi uzavriem zmluvu pokoja; bude to s nimi zmluva večná, dám sa im rozmnožiť a svoju svätyňu umiestnim uprostred nich.

27 (KJV) My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
27 (KAT) Môj príbytok bude nad nimi a budem ich Bohom, oni však budú mojím ľudom.

28 (KJV) And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
28 (KAT) Vtedy budú vedieť národy, že ja som Pán, ktorý posväcuje Izrael, keď bude moja svätyňa uprostred nich naveky.“
